NOTE THAT THIS WILL BE MORE THREATLISTY SO MENTION POKEMON / OTHER EFFECTS ONE AT A TIME

I really don't see why you would ever use Typhlosion in UU. Even in RU, there's no reason to use it as it is entirely outclassed by Delphox, which isn't really even viable in UU either. UU just adds even more mons to the list of mons that outclass it entirely, particularly Chandelure. Being entirely outclassed by a Pokemon that is barely even usable itself really doesn't bode well for a Pokemon's viability.

It may be outclassed but it's an amazing wallbreaker. At least it has better stats than Exploud.

Yes but no Pokemon can do what Exploud does (Used an extremely powerful Normal-type move that can hit Ghost-types and has no drawbacks). I mean Typhlosion is weak to Stealth Rock, which is terrible for Eruption, meaning it needs serious hazard support. It's also outclassed as fuck by Chandelure, who has a nice secondary STAB, better typing, more versatility and unpredictability, and isn't hindered by Stealth Rock as much.

As much as I love this thing this is horribly outclassed. Chandelure has that nifty ghost typing. Stealth Rocks in very common in UU and its has to run a choice set to patch up only above average special attack and speed. If it patches up special attack, it's too slow. If it patches up speed, it's too weak. Both sets get walled to hell by Chandelure. There's a reason why this was RU last gen and NU this gen, being horribly outclassed even by Delphox of all things

i'm sorry mister chewydonuts, but typhlosion is not viable in the unedrused metagame of smogon unversity.

better luck next time.
