U-Turn Team

The purpose of the team is to be able to switch around with your team while still dealing damage and it keeps you opponent really guessing what your next move will be. It is very fun and let me know what you think about it and suggestions. Thanks!

Infernape
Ability: Iron Fist
Item: Focus Sash
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe
- stealth rock
- U-Turn
- Fire Punch
- Close Combat

Infernape is the lead. Set up with stealth rocks. Iron fist gives fire punch a 20% power increase to give it a base power of 90 and stab gives it a 135 base power. Close combat is just for sweeping steel and dark types.

Forretress
Ability: Sturdy
Item: Leftovers
Nature: calm
EVs: 252 Hp/ 4 Def/ 252 SpD
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes

Forretress is very important for rapid spinning because you do not want to continually take damage from entry hazards. Spikes and toxic spikes are for additional annoyances for your opponent. Volt switch is for switching obviously.

Mienshao
Ability: Regenerate
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Naive
EVs: 4 SpA/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe
- Hi Jump Kick
- U-Turn
- Hidden Power [Ice] 70 power---{31 HP/ 31 Atk/ 31 Def/ 30 Spe/ 31 SpA/ 31 SpD}
- fake Out

Mienshao’s ability regenerate heals it every time it is switched out making it perfect for the team. Hidden power ice is to counter dragons and it has stab with Hi Jump Kick. Fake out is nice for making the defending pokemon flinch and giving you a chance to U-turn to pokemon with a better mach up.

Galvantula
Ability: Compound eyes
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 Hp/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice] 70 power---{31 HP/ 31 Atk/ 31 Def/ 30 Spe/ 31 SpA/ 31 SpD}

Galvantula is a great special sweeper. Its ability gives it a 30% accuracy boost giving the powerful move Thunder 100% accuracy. Bug Buzz is another great stab move. Hidden power ice is for taking out dragon, ground grass and flying.

Flygon
Ability: Levitate
Item: Choice Scarf
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 Hp/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- U-Turn
- Stone Edge

Flygon is your strong ground type for taking out steel and electric types. It is not the fastest dragon so that is what the Choice Scarf is for. Stone edge is a great rock move for taking out bug and fire types. It has stab with Outrage, and outrage is a very good on opposing dragon types.

Vaporeon
Ability: Water Absorb
Item: Left Overs
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 Hp/ 128 Def/ 128 Spe
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Wish
- Surf

Vaporeon is used to cover the ground weakness. Surf has stab to hit ground and fire hard. Substitute is for stalling and Wish is a great supporting healer move. Baton Pass is its switching move because it cannot learn U-Turn or Volt Switch.

That looks a really fun team team to play as but not a fun team to play against.

Anyway onto the rate, I know this is a U-Turn team, but Volt-Switch on Fortress won't do much damage at all, consider changing it to the more standard Explosion. Explosion despite not halving Defensive anymore will still do a good chunk to oppents pokeom if it isn't steel or rock type.

Also, having two Hidden Powers of the same type on the same team is ususally not a good idea. Against Galvantula I always have a tendency to send out fire types against it so I'd have a Hidden Power that will hit Fires for Super Effectives. Maybe replace with hidden power ground or if you want to be unorthodox and unexpected you could expirement with hidden power water!

As for changing Galvantula's item to Specs, I wouldn't do it. For one you already have a choiced Pokemon and secondly, it prevent Galvantula preforming to its fullest on this team. It should be hitting hard and when the going gets tough, Volt-Switching away.

Finnally, consider adding Stone to Mienshao over Hidden Power Ice or Fake Out. This covers a Flying weakness that exposes half of your team.

I think if you make my changes your team could go from a 6.5/10 to 8.5/10, I hope my sugggestions Help
