Welcome to Ubermons! In this Pet Mod, we will adjust Ubers and banned aspects for National Dex OU play. The goal is to make every single ban, viable and healthy part of the metagame. Pokémon that were part of a Slate are going to be changed, if the Pokémon are too strong or too weak, as a result of their nerfs being not enough or too much.

A Slate will consist of 2-4 Pokémon or Moves/Abilities, which are decided by the council and the community and will last 3-4 days. The rules for the slates will depend on the Pokémon in question.

Here are the General Rules for some Pokémon:

Mythicals
Mythicals must keep their BST of 600. Also the changes that are made to them, have to fit their main trade as a mythical.
e.g. Techno Blast must be a viable option on Genesect, Landorus-I has to have a weather/terrain related playstyle etc.

Megas
Megas must have 100 BST more than their base form. However, changes that can make the base form worse won't be accepted. However, some Megas can't be balanced around this and those would be the exception.
e.g. Meaning that Mega-Alakazam cannot loose Nasty Plot, while Mega-Blastoise might loose Shell Smash.

Box Legends
Box Legendaries have their BST decreased to 570 and their forms would have a BST of 600. Custom Elements are allowed, rules depend and limitations on the slate and Pokémon in question.
e.g. Palkia would get a BST of 570, while something like Necrozma-Dusk-Mane gets a 600 BST

Description: (This is an essential part of the submission, just like the other aspects)

Voting will last 1-2 days and it will have the same rules as Mega Revolution:
In the voting phase, users vote for their preferred submissions and the winning submissions are added to the role compendium and spreadsheet.
The voting format is as follows:

Role in question: 1st preferred option, 2nd preferred option, 3rd preferred option.

Note: These self voting rules and the explanation are from good user lyd, slightly adapted to fit this pet mod
If you want to vote for yourself now, it gets slightly more complicated. You can always keep voting for yourself as second, but you can change the order a bit, for as long as the number of self-votes equals 2x the number of submissions you made. Let's use some examples to make it more understandable:

Stallbreaker: Yoshiblaze, Lyd, Ludicrousity
Special Wall: Ludicrousity, Lyd, Yoshiblaze
Defensive Pivot: Ludicrousity, Lyd, Yoshiblaze

So this voting format is good, cuz' Lyd voted for himself as second three times, and when you add everything up, he gave himself 6 votes, which is fine, as it is exactly the number of submissions he made for the slate x2. However, say he liked his Stallbreaker submission a lot, and he really wants it to win, he can play around with his votes a little bit:

Stallbreaker: Lyd, Yoshiblaze, Ludicrousity
Special Wall: Ludicrousity, Lyd, Yoshiblaze
Defensive Pivot: Ludicrousity, Yoshiblaze, Lyd

So to make his Stallbreaker first vote, he moved his Defensive Pivot self-vote to last. Makes sense, right? And when you add up the votes, 3 + 2 + 1 = 6 which is exactly what he wants. Let's say that he likes his Special Wall and Defensive Pivot submissions more, and he didn't like his Stallbreaker submission too much. He can do this:

Stallbreaker: Yoshiblaze, Ludicrousity, G-Luke
Special Wall: Lyd, Ludicrousity, Yoshiblaze
Defensive Pivot: Lyd, Ludicrousity, Yoshiblaze

3 + 3 adds up to six, so he's good to that. Small note that this can't be done if he made no Stallbreaker submission because if that was the case, the number of submissions he made x2 would actually end up as 4, which isn't enough. Also, had he only made a single submission, he'd always have to self-vote as #2 or lower because making only one submission gives him only two self-vote points. We hope that was clear, if you had any trouble to understand this, feel free to PM anyone helping run the mod and we'll explain it as best as we can.

Straying away from the trend of song slates, we're suspecting a concept down to OU, Black and White, Yin and Yang. Truth and Ideals.

Reshiram and Zekrom
:bw/reshiram::bw/Zekrom:

As Box Legends, their Base stat totals are lowered to 570, you can change the effects of their signature abilities Turboblaze and Teravolt, but be sure to keep in mind their already nerfed counterparts Black and White Kyurem

Submissions Open Now!

:bw/zekrom:
Pokémon: Zekrom
Changes: Stats, Ability, Movepool
Types:
|

Abilities: Teravolt*
Stats: 90 | 115 | 120 | 105 | 70 | 70 (570 BST)
Movepool Changes: -Tailwind, -Flash Cannon, -Draco Meteor
Description: mostly useless movepoll changes, that dont affect its overall gameplay. i decided to make it overall more defensively oriented, counting with volt switch to pivot out whenever it wants, since Teravolt's new effect lets it hit ground pokemon with electric type attacks, for resisted damage, although. it also has reliable recovery in Roost and can provide hazard removal with Defog. though, it still has to watch out for ground type attacks.

:bw/reshiram:
Pokémon: Reshiram
Changes: Stats, Ability, Movepool
Types:
|

Abilities: Turboblaze*
Stats: 100 | 70 | 70 | 120 | 115 | 95 (570 BST)
Movepool Changes: -Earth Power, -Focus Blast, -Tailwind +Aura Sphere, +Calm Mind
Description: Without earth power and focus blast, it doesn't have a 100% way to deal with rocks, though it still has Scorching Sands and the newly added Aura Sphere. it has Recovery in roost, and the potential to be a set-up sweeper with Calm Mind. it can probably run a Specs or a Life Orb set.

This pokemon's electric type moves can hit ground types but are resisted. Mold Breaker effects.

This pokemon's moves without a chance to burn gain a 30% chance to burn the target. Mold Breaker effects.

:bw/Reshiram:
Pokémon:
Types:

Abilities: Turboblaze: Same Effect + If Reshiram, 20% boost to Fire. If Kyurem-White, 20% boost to Ice in Sun
Stats: 100/100/70/120/90/90 (570)
Movepool Changes: -
Description: Reshiram still remains a terrifying special attacker with a permanent Charcoal boost to its Fire moves. It's still held by its flaws in Ubers. Being vulnerable to Hazards, being prediction reliant, its lacking defensive utility to either Fairies or Waters and being outclassed by Kyurem-White. All of these hold it back, but it has a decent niche over Kyurem-White, not relying on its speed and thus boosting its already better attacking stats and Fire being better than Ice defensively and sometimes offensively.

:bw/Zekrom:
Pokémon:
Types:

Abilities: Teravolt: Same Effect + If Zekrom, 20% boost to Electric. If Kyurem-Black, 20% boost to Ice in Electric Terrain
Stats: 100/120/90/70/90/100 (570)
Movepool Changes: -Dragon Dance, +Bulk Up
Description: Zekrom remains a strong physical presence. Kyurem-Black is stronger and has a Ice STAB to go with its Electric moves, but Zekroms Electric moves do a lot more damage with STAB and Teravolt, which now is also a build in Magnet. Kyurem-Black has Dragon Dance over it, and the better damage output and better physical bulk, but Zekrom possesses a better typing and immediate offensive prowess, with Bolt Strike and momentum with Volt Switch.

Pokémon: Zekrom
Changes: Ability, Stats, Movepool
Types: Electric/Dragon
Abilities: Teravolt=Motor drive+Moldbreaker (for kyurem-black its mold breaker+volt absorb)
Stats: 100/110/90/90/90/90 Bst [570]
Movepool Changes: - Flash Cannon, Draco meteor,
Description: Zekrom’s main power lies in its typing; electric and dragon, almost unresisted with a few exceptions in pokemon like ferrothorn. Flash cannon removal doesn't mean as much as it wouldn't run it anyway. Same with Draco meteor but this applies more to flash cannon. With these changes, Zekrom still will be a decent dragon dance sweeper but not too strong. Also retains its bulk as 100/90/90 hits a decent benchmark.

:xy/Reshiram:
Pokémon: Reshiram
Stats: 90 / 85 / 75 / 130 / 100 / 90
Types:

Abilities: Turboblaze | Competitive
Movepool Changes: + Calm Mind, - Tailwind
Turboblaze: This Pokemon's attacks all have a 20% chance to burn the target upon hitting; Does not stack with moves' innate burn chances
Description: Reshiram is pretty similar to its Ubers self - slow, but devastatingly powerful. It can't spam Fire attacks against Heatran now, but it still retains either Focus Blast or Earth Power. It's bulk is acceptable, and it's typing isn't awful defensively. With Calm Mind, it can set up vs bulkier teams and heal off the damage with Roost. It's poor physical defense stops it from being overpowering, as any decently strong unresisted physical attacks should 2HKO it. Turboblaze offers a nice if unreliable way to cripple switching with a burn, while Competitive offers a way to deter Defogging attempts. The most common sets will likely be Specs and CM-Roost.

Pokémon: Zekrom
Stats: 90 / 130 / 100 / 85 / 75 / 90
Types:

Abilities: Teravolt | Defiant
Movepool Changes: + Bulk Up, + Dragon Hammer, - Dragon Dance, - Tailwind
Turboblaze: This Pokemon's attacks all have a 20% chance to paralyze the target upon hitting; Does not stack with moves' innate paralysis chances
Description: Zekrom is quite different from its Ubers incarnation in SwSh as it no longer has any way to boost its Speed. However, it's STAB combo is still excellent, and it boasts a strong new option in Dragon Hammer. (This is the closest I could get to giving Zekrom a good Dragon STAB like Reshiram has with Draco Meteor). Band sets are shockingly (hehe) strong and can make use of Volt Switch to pivot, which can also make Scarf sets a viable option. Bulk Up sets take advantage of a fantastic defensive typing and nearly unresisted STAB options, and Defiant stops Defog and Landorus from being an issue.

:Swsh/Reshiram:
Pokémon: Reshiram
Types:

Abilities: Turboblaze
Name: Turboblaze
Effects & Description: This Pokemon's Speed stat is equal to its Special Defense stat. Vice versa for Kyurem-White.
Stats: 80 / 100 / 140 / 90 / 90 / 70 [BST: 570]
Movepool Changes: + Extreme Speed, Work Up
Description: A defensive setup sweeper that'll never run Fast Sweeper set, but Special Defensive set likes why the hell would you waste those EV for no reason while you can have likes 750 total EV. But for the seriousness, this can wall a lot of things while it can slowly setup then sweep (or just use Body Press and Toxic) and heals up with Roost.

:Swsh/Zekrom:
Pokémon: Zekrom
Types:

Abilities: Teravolt
Name: Teravolt
Effects & Description: This Pokemon's attacks damage target based on their Sp. Def.
Stats: 80 / 140 / 100 / 90 / 90 / 70 [BST: 570]
Movepool Changes: + Stomping Tantrum, Superpower, Work Up, - Dragon Dance
Description: A physical wallbreaker that's walled by Blissey. That's probably sounds shame, but yeah, it's shame as it sounds, and that's good because that means it can be walled. But on a positive side, it'll not get walled by physical walls.

I planned on making my Yin and Yan forms be diametrically oppose to the Kyurems, so Resh is bulky and powerful, while Zekrom is fast and weaker by comparison.

:Bw/reshiram:
Pokémon: Reshiram
Types:

Abilities: Turboblaze
Stats: 90 / 70 / 80 / 130 / 110 / 90 [BST: 570]
Movepool Changes: +U-turn, Fusion Flare*
Fusion Flare - 85 BP | 10 PP | 100% Accuracy | Special | If a Pokémon in the user's party knows the move Fusion Bolt, this move's power is multiplied by 1.3 and gains a 20% chance to paralyze.
Description: Reshiram is a bulky wallbreaker that is slower than most, not striking the 95 speed tier. Never the less, it flexes its massively powerful Dual STABs, leaving the amount of Pokémon being able to actually switch in on a Specs set slim to none. Gaining U-turn is pretty helpful for it in general too, as this allows it to keep up momentum on its limited switchins. Its kept in check by its aforementioned speed tier - being even slower than Kyurem kinda sucks as breaker, meaning several top threats can revenge kill it.

:bw/zekrom:
Pokémon: Zekrom
Types:

Abilities: Teravolt
Stats: 90 / 105 / 90 / 80 / 80 / 125 [BST: 570]
Movepool Changes: +Knock Off, Fusion Bolt*
Fusion Bolt - 85 BP | 10 PP | 100% Accuracy | Physical | If a Pokémon in the user's party knows the move Fusion Flare, this move's power is multiplied by 1.3 and gains a 20% chance to burn.
Description: Zekrom is fast and leverages its speed to revengekill or try and sweep the opposing team with its decent attack stat. Just like Reshiram its not without flaws, as it can struggle to break major defensive behemoths thanks to its average initial attack stat, particularly breaking Ground types.

desc.: due to mega-charizard-x's exiatance, and ability to abuse the amazing fire/dragon typing offensively, i decided to make reshiram use typing defensively, focusing on providing utility instead of wall breaking. in order to keep it so, i make it lose most of its coverage (simply because fire/dragon barely requires any), as well as screens which can cover its low and awdward defense. it still has W-O-W to utilize and knock off along with recovery on roost and defog.

movepoll changes: -dragon dance, -reflect, -light screen,+knock off, -psychic, -shadow ball, -scorching sands, -focus blast, -earth power, -extrasensory
desc.: due to mega-charizard-x's exiatance, and ability to abuse the amazing fire/dragon typing offensively, i decided to make reshiram use typing defensively, focusing on providing utility instead of wall breaking. in order to keep it so, i make it lose most of its coverage (simply because fire/dragon barely requires any), as well as screens which can cover its low and awdward defense. it still has W-O-W to utilize and knock off along with recovery on roost and defog.

You can vote for your top 3 pairs, and may Self Vote in any place except from first.

Votes will close once the weekend is over :]

Once again, sorry for the slight delay, this was a solid slate, but the eventual winner was G-Luke ’s Dyad.

I’ll open the next Slate soon, it will be the “OHKO Moves”
