The Ubers tier once again gets spooked by a new of forme of the god of Pokemon. Arceus-Ghost utilizes its excellent offensive typing to pressure the staples of the tier with Judgment. Aura Sphere is a consistent way to hit Kingambit, Ting-Lu, Arceus, and the Tera Dark Pokemon of the tier such as Zacian-C and Ho-Oh. Taunt prevents phazing from Ho-Oh and Ting-Lu while limiting Thunder Wave users such as support Arceus formes and Kyogre. Tera Ghost boosts Arceus's firepower enough to OHKO Koraidon and Zacian-C at +1, to OHKO defensive Kyogre at +2, and to have a chance to OHKO physically defensive Ho-Oh at +2. Arceus-Ghost fits perfectly on Sticky Web team structures, since it can now safely boost up without the fear of non-Choice Scarf Koraidon or Zacian-C revenge killing it. In exchange, after Ribombee sets up Sticky Web, Arceus-Ghost can deny Rapid Spin from Terapagos. Teammates such as Koraidon and Necrozma-DM can take advantage of Arceus-Ghost breaking through Ho-Oh and defensive Arceus formes.

Taunt prevents phazing from Ho-Oh and Ting-Lu (RC) while limiting Thunder Wave users such as support Arceus formes and Kyogre. Tera Ghost boosts Arceus' Arceus's firepower enough to OHKO Koraidon and Zacian-C at +1, to OHKO defensive Kyogre at +2, and to have a chance to OHKO physically defensive Ho-Oh at +2.
