Eternatus @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dynamax Cannon
- Sludge Bomb
- Fire Blast
- Recover
The Darkest Day is upon us once again with Eternatus making its dastardly return to Ubers! While formerly being relegated to a defensive pivot, Life Orb Eternatus is now able to take the spotlight as the tier's premier specially offensive Dragon, launching off a powerful STAB Dynamax Cannon. It also opts to use Sludge Bomb for Arceus-Fairy and Fire Blast to threaten Zacian-C and Necrozma-DM. Recover grants Eternatus more longevity to keep firing off strong attacks, and Tera Dragon can aid in this to further boost the strength of Dynamax Cannon. Life Orb Eternatus will most commonly be seen on bulky offense structures as a breaker that can absorb Toxic Spikes, and it pairs well alongside the likes of Choice Specs Kyogre and Physical Giratina-O, working in tandem to break through the opponent's walls. Eternatus isn't without checks, though, as Arceus-Ground and Ting-Lu can safely switch into its attacks and threaten it out, with the omnipresent Koraidon and Zacian-C also being able to OHKO it while also being faster.
