Who won Bisping vs Hamill?

Was free on Spike so not sure how many may have caught it.

Overall it was decent, good close title match that I think could have gone either way.

Worst part about the whole thing was Hamill (deaf kid) got totally robbed in the decision and was such a good sport about it and the brit rips on him saying for him to go back to wrestling... really felt terrible about it.

Not sure if there are many MMA fans on here but just curious as to your thoughts on this event.

OH

forgot all about UFC 75, weird having it so close to 74.

I am glad your poll didnt spoil the results because that is all I could read before realising I shouldnt read more if I dont want to be spoiled.

Downloading it right now and I'll comment once I'm done watching it.

Bisping is a cocksucker, they gave him the decision because it was in London when Hamill clearly beat the shit out of him. Like you said it was terrible that he rubbed the victory in afterwards, and Hamill like a respectful guy (poor dude is deaf too, went to RIT) gave a somewhat unintelligible interview with Joe Rogan but basically praised Bisping in his fighting. If that was in Vegas instead, the decision would've been to Hamill.

Cro Cop's fight sucked, he deserved to lose. Kongo picked him apart.

I agree that Hamill should have won, he was taking him down fairly often but letting him get back up which confused me but whatever. I personally like Bisping as a fighter but that was an asshole thing to say telling him to go back to wrestling especially when Hamill was boxing him pretty good at the beginning.

to Bisping's credit, he was explosive and active, although the match still should have went to Hamill.

That's fine anyway, they are probably in for a rematch in the states.

I dont think Bisping won because he fought in the UK, more like from the judges point of view, he may have seemed more active.

Still, this is what sucks about a 10-9 format, especially in 3 rounds fights. 10-9 scoring is made for boxing, MMA really needs a different format.

I loved the main event.

London Calling!

Euh, I was so trashed when I watched this, but I remember being upset about this, and really enjoying the undercard fights. Hamill was clearly in control the first 2 rounds, and even if Bisping took the third round, it was not significant enough to outweigh the first two rounds. I'm not going to shout "Rigged!" or whatever (although I did on Saturday), but I really question this judgement.

RAMPAGE IS A KILLING MACHINE!!!!!! HE WILL FUCK YOU UP!!!!!!! He is fucking berserk man, holy shit. He'll rip you in two no problem.

Other than that, yeah it was good. This is like the biggest UFC in history, too. I can't wait for the light- and welter-weight unification bouts. Will be hype. Also, Kongo fought really well, and.... I forget the guys name, bu the guy who reversed the uh, tuck roll or fireman throw, or whatever it was into an armbar. Very nice.

The main event was pretty sick but i don't think rampage should have won. He really only did good in the last minute of the second round but i thought the majority of the fight was in henderson's favor.

Are you on crack? Rampage was dominant. He landed all the big strikes, and had inner ring control in basically every round. Like, I don't even understand where you're coming from with this. =/

Yay, more MMA fans. :D I love this sport so much......anyways, I watched the show with my dad and we were both pretty fucking pissed when they said Bisping won. Also I found the point system to be useless in this match: ----Bisping 29-28--- Bisping 29-28---- Hamil 30-27----

If you look at it like that, then Hamil won, and if you won't bother counting up the points, then why the hell is there a 10-9 point scoring system in the UFC? Vineon is definantly right about UFC needing a new point scoring system. So yeah, I lost all my respect for Bisping after this match and felt terrrible for Hamil. Not out of sympathy because of him being deaf, but because of him kicking ass and being a great sport about it.

Cro Cop sucked once again, maybe he's out of his prime or he's getting lazy with training. He definantly needs to change something though and stop being a stepping stone for every newby in the heavyweight division.

The main event was definantly great. Rampage was amazing but I figured he'd win since Henderson seems better for middle-weight division imo. Great win for Rampage, but I don't think he'l stay champ for too long.

I'm looking forward to the other unification bouts especially Emelienko vs Couture. (I think Couture is going to get destroyed, but it'll be fun to watch.)

Also, Shogun debuts in UFC soon, so be sure to watch it everyone! It's gonna be a bad night for Forrest Griffin...

rampage was only dominant at the end of the second round that he was losing up until that point. The rest of the rounds were so close to even. So it was hardly dominant
