[OVERVIEW]

Umbreon's great bulk allows it to take on both physical attackers like Zeraora, Landorus-T, and Mega Metagross and special attackers like Meloetta, Primarina, and non-Taunt Tapu Lele, and its Dark typing makes it immune to Prankster from Pokemon like Whimsicott. Umbreon also has great utility moves like Charm and Moonlight that enable it to take on Mega Gyarados, Mega Charizard X, and Choice Scarf Haxorus. Furthermore, Umbreon can pressure setup Pokemon such as Landorus-T with Foul Play and prevent Tapu Lele from setting up Calm Mind with Snarl. However, Umbreon has trouble facing bulky Pokemon such as Porygon2, Magearna, and Z-Move Togekiss, which are able to take its attacks and stall out of Moonlight's PP. It also suffers against common Leech Seed users such as Serperior, Jumpluff, and Mega Venusaur because of its inability to do major damage to them and its limited recovery with Moonlight. It further suffers against Taunt users such as Deoxys-S, Tapu Fini, and Kommo-o, as it cuts off Umbreon's recovery options and allows them to either stall it out or take it out with their super effective attacks.

Moves
========

Z-Charm makes Umbreon able to beat powerful physical attackers such as Mega Gyarados, Choice Scarf Haxorus, Choice Band Garchomp, and Choice Band Dragonite lacking Superpower. Foul Play enables Umbreon to beat physical attackers such as non-Substitute Landorus-T, Jirachi, and Mega Pinsir. Moonlight allows Umbreon to shake off damage after using Z-Charm on Choice Band Garchomp, Choice Scarf Haxorus, or Mega Charizard X or after using Snarl against Tapu Lele or Primarina. Snarl makes Umbreon able to beat Tapu Lele and Primarina due to the Special Attack drop.

Set Details
========

Fairum Z allows Umbreon to use Z-Charm, which allows it to beat Pokemon such as non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite and Choice Band Garchomp. Inner Focus allows it to avoid flinches from Jirachi's Iron Head and Mega Gyarados's Waterfall. 252 HP EVs and 228 Defense EVs enable Umbreon to take attacks from Garchomp, Zeraora, and Landorus-T as well as two Outrages from non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite. 28 Special Defense EVs with a Calm nature allow Umbreon to survive Normalium Z-boosted Hyper Beam from bulky Meloetta after Laser Focus as well as tank Moonblast from Primarina and non-Taunt Tapu Lele.

Usage Tips
========

Umbreon can use Z-Charm to beat physical attackers such as Choice Band Dragonite lacking Superpower, Victini, Landorus-T, and Haxorus and use Foul Play to finish them off. Against Mega Metagross, do not use Z-Charm, because it can forgo Mega Evolving to avoid the Attack drop; instead, use Foul Play twice to beat it. Also, do not use Z-Charm against Victini, as Umbreon already OHKOes or 2HKOes Victini with Foul Play, and Victini can't do anything back. Umbreon is a good pick against both Mega Charizard X and Y, as Z-Charm + Foul Play will take care of Mega Charizard X while Snarl + Moonlight will allow Umbreon to stall out sun turns to beat Mega Charizard Y. It can also stall out Choice Specs Greninja with Snarl and Moonlight take on Jirachi due to Inner Focus, and use Foul Play to 2HKO it. Against special attackers such as Tapu Lele, Primarina, and Magnezone, Umbreon should use Snarl turn 1, Moonlight turn 2, and Snarl until they get KOed. For Meloetta, it is best to use Snarl turn 1; if it uses Calm Mind turn 2, use Snarl again, and if it used Laser Focus, use Moonlight turn 3 to be able to recover off Breakneck Blitz. Umbreon should avoid being sent out on most Leech Seed users, with the exception of Whimsicott, and walls such as Mega Venusaur, Serperior, Clefable, Registeel, and Mega Slowbro, as it cannot do enough damage to them to beat them and cannot do major damage back to them. Umbreon can win against Whimsicott only because its Dark typing allows it to avoid Prankster Leech Seed and Taunt.

Team Options
========

Pokemon that can take on Fighting-types like Kommo-o and Terrakion such as Tapu Fini and Mega Diancie make good partners for Umbreon. In return, Umbreon can take on Mega Metagross for them. Whimsicott and Mega Sableye are great counters to stall Deoxys-S, which Umbreon is unable to take care of. In return, Umbreon can take on Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Primarina, Fire-types like Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, and Steel-types like Mega Metagross and Magnezone for Whimsicott. Flying-types like Togekiss and Flyinium Z Landorus-T can help against Grass-types such as Mega Venusaur and Serperior and Fighting-types that Umbreon can't beat like Kommo-o and Mega Gallade. In return, Umbreon can take on Naganadel and Mega Charizard Y for them. Steel-types such as Magnezone, Mega Metagross, and Mega Mawile are great to beat Fairy-type Pokemon that Umbreon has trouble beating such as Mega Diancie, Mega Gardevoir, and Tapu Fini; in return, Umbreon can take on Mega Charizard Y for them. Electric-type Pokemon that can beat Mega Slowbro like Magnezone and Zeraora make great partners for Umbreon. In return, Umbreon can take care of Ground-type Pokemon for them. Fire-types such as Mega Charizard X, Heatran, and Incineroar are great for taking on Steel-types like Registeel and Ferrothorn. Umbreon is able to take on Dragon-types like Haxorus and Garchomp in return.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Toxic can be used over Snarl to take on walls like Porygon2 and non-Rest Slowbro. However, Umbreon can no longer take on Tapu Lele and Primarina.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Stall Pokemon**: Umbreon struggles with walls such as Deoxys-S, Mega Slowbro, Porygon2, and Magearna due to their ability to outstall it and take any of its attacks.

**Taunt**: Pokemon that run Taunt such as Tapu Fini and Kommo-o can cut off Umbreon's recovery and take it out with their super effective attacks.

**Leech Seed**: Umbreon struggles with Pokemon that use Leech Seed like Serperior, Mega Venusaur, and Jumpluff because it is unable to do anything back to them and slowly gets stalled out of Moonlight PP.

**Super Effective Attacks**: Mega Mawile, Mega Gardevoir, and Sawk are all able to OHKO Umbreon with their super effective attacks before Umbreon can use Z-Charm or Snarl to lower their offensive stats.

* Foul Play enables Umbreon to beat physical attackers such as non-Substitue Landorus-T, Jirachi, and Mega Pinsir.
* Moonlight allows Umbreon to be able to shake off damage after using Z-charm on Garchomp, Choice Scarf Haxorus or Mega Charizard X or after using Snarl against Tapu Lele or Primarina.
* Snarl makes Umbreon able to beat Tapu Lele and Primarina due to the Special Attack drop.

Set Details
========

* Fairum Z allows Umbreon to use Z-Charm, which allows it to beat Pokemon it cannot without it such as Choice Band Dragonite and Choice Band Haxorus. use different example
* Its ability, Inner Focus allows it to not get flinched from Jirachi's Iron Head.
* 252 HP with 228 Def EVs makes Umbreon able to live attacks from Garchomp, Zeraora, Landorus-T and two Outrage from non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite.
* 28 Special Defense EVs with a Calm nature allows Umbreon to live a Laser Focus Z-Hyper Beam from bulky Meloetta and be able to tank a Moonblast from non-Taunt Tapu Lele and Primarina.

Usage Tips
========

* Umbreon can use Z-Charm to beat physical attackers such as Choice Band non-Superpower Dragonite, Landorus-T and Haxrous as Umbreon should Z-Charm turn 1, then use Moonlight on turn 2 to recover damage from the first attack and then using Foul Play to finish these off.
* Thanks to Umbreon's physical bulk, it can take on Mega Metagross as usually it will not mega evolve to avoid getting an Attack drop from Charm, so Umbreon can Foul Play twice in order to KO it. you should just say 'against Mega Metagross, don't use Z-Charm, because they can stay in regular form to avoid the attack drop, and instead use Foul Play twice'
* Umbreon is a good pick against both Charizard X and Y as Z-Charm + Foul Play will take care of Charizard X while Snarl + Moonlight will allow Umbreon to beat Mega Charizard Y.
* Umbreon can also stall out common Choiced Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Victini, Choice Scarf Landorus and Choice Scarf Dragonite with using Z-Charm turn 1, then use Moonlight turn 2 and win the game with using Foul Play. It can also stall out Choice Specs Greninja with using Snarl and Moonlight.
you already said this basically, add the examples to the first point
* Umbreon is also able to take on physical Pokemon like Jirachi due to Inner Focus, and it can use Foul Play to 2HKO Jirachi.

* Umbreon should avoid being sent out on Leech Seed users and walls such as Mega Venusaur, Serperior, Clefable, Registeel and Mega Slowbro as Umbreon cannot beat these.
switch the order, whimsicott is the exception, not the rule

* Charm allows Umbreon to use Z-Charm which makes it able to beat powerful physical attackers such as non-Taunt Mega Gyarados, Choice Scarf Haxorus, Choice Band Garchomp and Choice Band non-Superpower Dragonite.
* Foul Play enables Umbreon to beat physical attackers such as non-Substitute Landorus-T, Jirachi, and Mega Pinsir.
* Moonlight allows Umbreon to be able to shake off damage after using Z-charm on Choice Band Garchomp I'd say this for consistency because you've been mentioning CS Haxo alot too, Choice Scarf Haxorus or Mega Charizard X or after using Snarl against Tapu Lele or Primarina.
* Snarl makes Umbreon able to beat Tapu Lele and Primarina due to the Special Attack drop.

Set Details
========

* Fairum Z allows Umbreon to use Z-Charm, which allows it to beat Pokemon it cannot without it such as non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite and Choice Band Garchomp Same as above; consistency.
* Its ability, Inner Focus allows it to not get flinched from Jirachi's Iron Head.
* 252 HP with 228 Def EVs makes Umbreon able to live attacks from Gatchomp, Zeraora, Landorus-T and two Outrage from non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite.
* 28 Special Defense EVs with a Calm nature allows Umbreon to live a Laser Focus Z-Hyper Beam from bulky Meloetta and be able to tank a Moonblast from non-Taunt Tapu Lele and Primarina and non-Taunt Tapu Lele.

Usage Tips
========

* Umbreon can use Z-Charm to beat physical attackers such as Choice Band non-Superpower Dragonite, Choice Scarf Victini Against basically every Victini, if they use V-Create turn 1 you already win because Foul Play OHKOs, or if they set up turn 1 like with Z-Celebrate they still don't OHKO and you can 2HKo with V-Create, and against special Victini you just use Foul Play twice. Move this to its own category. , Landorus-T and Haxrous then using Foul Play to finish these off.
* Against Mega Metagross, do not use Z-Charm, because it can stay in regular form to avoid the attack drop, so instead use Foul Play twice to beat it. You should also not use Z-Charm against Victini, as it already OHKO or 2HKOs Victini with Foul Play, and Victini can't do anything to countermeasure that attack.
* Umbreon is a good pick against both Charizard X and Y as Z-Charm + Foul Play will take care of Charizard X while Snarl + Moonlight will allow Umbreon to beat Mega Charizard Y. It can also stall out Choice Specs Greninja with using Snarl and Moonlight.
* Umbreon is also able to take on physical Pokemon like Jirachi due to Inner Focus, and it can use Foul Play to 2HKO Jirachi. This statement about Inner Focus is only true for Jirachi, because it can block its flinches. There's no other flinch Pokemon that Umbreon does this with.
* Against Special attackers such as Tapu Lele, Primarina, and Magnezone and Meloetta, Umbreon should use Snarl turn 1, Moonlight turn 2 then use Snarl till they get KOed. Split these two, since Meloetta has its own strategy on how to beat it For Meloetta, it is best to Snarl turn 1, if they use Calm Mind turn 2, Snarl again, if they used Laser Focus turn 2, then use Moonlight turn 3 to be able to recover off Z-Hyper Beam.
* Umbreon should avoid being sent out on most Leech Seed users, with the exception of Whimsicott Next bullet explains and walls such as Mega Venusaur, Serperior, Clefable, Registeel and Mega Slowbro as Umbreon cannot beat these. Give reasoning why. Just saying that Umbreon "can't beat these" isn't good enough
* Umbreon can win against Whimsicott because Umbreon's Dark-typing allows it to not be Leech Seeded or Taunted.

Team Options
========

* Pokemon that can take on Fighting-types like Kommo-o and Terrakion such as Tapu Fini and Mega Dianice make good partners for Umbreon. In return, Umbreon can take on Mega Metagross for them.
* Whimsicott and Mega Sableye are great counters to beat stall Deoxys-S, which Umbreon is unable to take care of. In return, Umbreon can take on Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Primarina and Fire-types like Mega Charizard X / Y and Steel-types like Mega Metagross and Magnezone for Whimsicott.
* Flying-types like Togekiss and Z-Fly Landorus-T can help against Grass-types such as Mega Venusuar and Serperior and fighting-types that Umbreon can't beat like Kommo-o and Mega Gallade.
* Steel-types such as Magnezone, Mega Metagross and Mega Mawile are great to beat Fairy-type Pokemon that Umbreon have trouble beating such as Mega Diancie, Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Fini, in return Umbreon can take on Mega Charizard Y for them.
* Electric-type Pokemon that can beat Mega Slowbro like Magnezone and Zeraora make great partners for Umbreon. In return, Umbreon can take care of Ground-type Pokemon for these.

Umbreon also has great utility moves like Charm and Moonlight that enables it to be able to take on non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite, Mega Charizard X, and Choice Scarf Haxorus [I'd mention Mega Gyarados here over CB Dragonite]. Umbreon can also pressure setup Pokemon with Foul Play such as Landorus-T and use Snarl to prevent Tapu Lele from setting up with Calm Mind. However, Umbreon has trouble facing bulky Pokemon such as Porygon2, Magearna and Z-move Togekiss because of being able to take Umbreon's attack and stall it out of Moonlight PP. It also suffers against common Leech Seed users such as Serperior, Jumplufff and Mega Venusaur because of Umbreon failing to do major damage to them and has limited recovery with Moonlight. It further suffers to Taunt users such as Deoxys-S, Tapu Fini and Kommo-o as this cuts off Umbreon's recovery options and allow it to either get stalled out or taken out by their super-effective attacks.

Charm allows Umbreon to use Z-Charm which makes it able to beat powerful physical attackers such as non-Taunt [Umbreon beats all Mega Gyarados Taunt or otherwise] Mega Gyarados, Choice Scarf Haxorus, Choice Band Garchomp and Choice Band non-Superpower Dragonite. Foul Play enables Umbreon to beat physical attackers such as non-Substitute Landorus-T, Jirachi, and Mega Pinsir. Moonlight allows Umbreon to be able to shake off damage after using Z-charm on Choice Band Garchomp, Choice Scarf Haxorus or Mega Charizard X or after using Snarl against Tapu Lele or Primarina. Snarl makes Umbreon able to beat Tapu Lele and Primarina due to the Special Attack drop.

Set Details

Fairum Z allows Umbreon to use Z-Charm, which allows it to beat Pokemon it cannot without it such as non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite and Choice Band Garchomp. Its ability, Inner Focus allows it to not get flinched from Jirachi's Iron Head and Mega Gyarados's Waterfall. 252 HP with 228 Def EVs makes Umbreon able to live attacks from Gatchomp, Zeraora, Landorus-T and two Outrage from non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite. 28 Special Defense EVs with a Calm nature allows Umbreon to live a Laser Focus Z-Hyper Beam from bulky Meloetta and be able to tank a Moonblast from Primarina and non-Taunt Tapu Lele.

Usage Tips
========

Umbreon can use Z-Charm to beat physical attackers such as Choice Band non-Superpower Dragonite, Victini, Landorus-T and Haxrous then using Foul Play to finish these off. Against Mega Metagross, do not use Z-Charm, because it can stay in regular form to avoid the attack drop, so instead use Foul Play twice to beat it. Also do not use Z-Charm against Victini, as it already OHKO or 2HKOs Victini with Foul Play, and Victini can't do anything back. Umbreon is a good pick against both Charizard X and Y as Z-Charm + Foul Play will take care of Charizard X while Snarl + Moonlight will allow Umbreon to beat Mega Charizard Y [It's important to use Moonlight to stall out the sun turns against Mega Charizard Y, so explicitly mention this]. It can also stall out Choice Specs Greninja with using Snarl and Moonlight. Umbreon is also able to take on Jirachi due to Inner Focus, and it can use Foul Play to 2HKO Jirachi. Against Special attackers such as Tapu Lele, Primarina and Magnezone, Umbreon should use Snarl turn 1, Moonlight turn 2 then use Snarl till they get KOed. For Meloetta, it is best to Snarl turn 1, if they use Calm Mind turn 2, Snarl again, if they used Laser Focus turn 2, then use Moonlight turn 3 to be able to recover off Z-Hyper Beam. Umbreon should avoid being sent out on most Leech Seed users with the exception of Whimsicott and walls such as Mega Venusaur, Serperior, Clefable, Registeel and Mega Slowbro as Umbreon cannot beat these due to them getting HP back from Leech Seed and cannot do major damage back to them. Umbreon can win against Whimsicott because Umbreon's Dark-typing allows it to not be Leech Seeded or Taunted.

Team Options

Pokemon that can take on Fighting-types like Kommo-o and Terrakion such as Tapu Fini and Mega Dianice make good partners for Umbreon. In return, Umbreon can take on Mega Metagross for them. Whimsicott and Mega Sableye are great counters to beat stall Deoxys-S, which Umbreon is unable to take care of. In return, Umbreon can take on Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Primarina and Fire-types like Mega Charizard X / Y and Steel-types like Mega Metagross and Magnezone for Whimsicott. Flying-types like Togekiss and Z-Fly Landorus-T can help against Grass-types such as Mega Venusuar and Serperior andfighting-types that Umbreon can't beat like Kommo-o and Mega Gallade. [What does Umbreon do for these pokemon] Steel-types such as Magnezone, Mega Metagross and Mega Mawile are great to beat Fairy-type Pokemon that Umbreon have trouble beating such as Mega Diancie, Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Fini, in return Umbreon can take on Mega Charizard Y for them. Electric-type Pokemon that can beat Mega Slowbro like Magnezone and Zeraora make great partners for Umbreon. In return, Umbreon can take care of Ground-type Pokemon for these. Fire-types such as Mega Charizard X, Heatran and Incicroar are great for taking on Steel-types like Registeel and Ferrothorn. Umbreon is able to take on Dragon-types like Haxorus and Garchomp for them.

**Leech Seed**: Umbreon struggles with Pokemon that use Leech Seed like Serperior, Mega Venusaur and Jumpluff because Umbreon is unable to do anything back to them and slowly get stalled out of Moonlight PP.

**Super-Effective Attacks**: Mega Mawile, Mega Gardevoir and Sawk are all able to OHKO Umbreon with their super-effective attacks before Umbreon can use either Z-Charm or Snarl to lower their Attack or Special Attack stat.

Umbreon can also pressure setup Pokemon with Foul Play such as Landorus-T with Foul Play and use Snarl to prevent Calm Mind Tapu Lele from setting up with Calm Mind with Snarl (this flows better + clearly attributes FP to Umbreon and not Lando-T and Lele). However, Umbreon has trouble facing bulky Pokemon such as Porygon2, Magearna, (AC) and Z-Move Togekiss (you can also say non-Choice Scarf Togekiss, but this is just fine) because of being able their ability to take Umbreon's attacks and stall it out of Moonlight PP. It also suffers against common Leech Seed users such as Serperior, Jumplufff, (AC) and Mega Venusaur because of Umbreon failsing to do major damage to them and has limited recovery with Moonlight. It further suffers to Taunt users such as Deoxys-S, Tapu Fini, (AC) and Kommo-o, (AC) as theyis cuts off Umbreon's recovery options, (AC) and allow it to either get stalled it out, (AC) or and taken it out by with their super-effective (RH) attacks. (a version of this last sentence with less edits consists of changing this -> Taunt and allow -> allows; the color-coded changes are subjective)

Charm allows Umbreon to use (technically, it's mainly Fairium Z) becomes Z-Charm, (AC) which makes it Umbreon able to beat powerful physical attackers such as Mega Gyarados, Choice Scarf Haxorus, Choice Band Garchomp and Choice Band non-Superpower Dragonite. Foul Play enables Umbreon to beat physical attackers such as non-Substitute Landorus-T, Jirachi, and Mega Pinsir. Moonlight allows Umbreon to be able to shake off damage after using Z-Charm on Choice Band Garchomp, Choice Scarf Haxorus, (AC) or Mega Charizard X or after using Snarl against Tapu Lele or Primarina (swap this sentence with prev to match set). Snarl makes Umbreon able to beat Tapu Lele and Primarina due to the Special Attack drop.

Set Details

Fairum Z allows Umbreon to use Z-Charm, which allows it to beat Pokemon it cannot without it such as non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite and Choice Band Garchomp (you already said this :/, tho cutting this sentence makes it very bland). Its ability, (RC) Inner Focus allows it to not get flinched from by (or change flinched -> a flinch) Jirachi's Iron Head and Mega Gyarados's Waterfall. 252 HP with and 228 Defense EVs makes Umbreon able to live attacks from Gatrchomp, Zeraora, Landorus-T and two Outrage from non-Superpower Choice Band non-Superpower Dragonite (I hope removing the Outrage part does not sacrifice quality; if it does, just make a new sentence or clause attached to this with SC; the last edit was for consistency, tho check gen note). 28 Special Defense EVs with a Calm nature allows Umbreon to live a Laser Focus Z-Hyper Beam Breakneck Blitz from bulky Meloetta and be able to tank a Moonblast from Primarina and non-Taunt (I don't see how Taunt matters here; I get that it poses a threat with Taunt, but you're talking about tanking here) Tapu Lele.

Usage Tips
========

Umbreon can use Z-Charm to beat physical attackers such as Choice Band non-Superpower Dragonite, Victini, Landorus-T, (AC) and Haxorus and then using finish them off with Foul Play to finish these off. Against Mega Metagross, do not use Z-Charm, because it can stay in regular form base forme to avoid the Attack drop; (SC) , so instead, Umbreon should use Foul Play twice to beat it. Also, (AC) do not use Z-Charm against Victini, as it already OHKO or 2HKOs Victini with Foul Play is already 2HKOed at worst by Foul Play (this should encompass the OHKO bit as well :/), and Victini it can't do anything back. Umbreon is a good pick against both Mega Charizard X and Y formes, as Z-Charm + Foul Play will take care of Mega Charizard X, (AC) while Snarl + Moonlight will allow Umbreon to stall out sun turns to beat Mega Charizard Y. I; (SC) it can also stall out Choice Specs Greninja with using Snarl and Moonlight. Umbreon is also able to take on Jirachi due to Inner Focus, and it can use Foul Play to 2HKO Jirachi. Against special attackers such as Tapu Lele, Primarina, (AC) and Magnezone, Umbreon should use Snarl turn 1, Moonlight turn 2, and then use Snarl till they get KOed. For Meloetta, it is best to Snarl on turns 1 and 2; (SC) Umbreon should use Snarl again if it used Calm Mind turn 2 and Moonlight if it used Laser Focus to be able to recover the incoming Breakneck Blitz's damage. if they use Calm Mind turn 2, Snarl again, if they used Laser Focus turn 2, then use Moonlight turn 3 to be able to recover off Z-Hyper Beam (if I'm reading this correctly, the suggested version should be equivalent; I did my best to keep your chunk of writing tho :)). Umbreon should avoid being (not that it has a choice) not be sent out on most Leech Seed users with the exception of Whimsicott and walls such as Mega Venusaur, Serperior, Clefable, Registeel, (AC) and Mega Slowbro, (AC) as Umbreon cannot beat themse due to their recoverym getting HP back from Leech Seed and major bulk cannot do major damage back to them. Umbreon can win against Whimsicott because Umbreon's its Dark-typing (RH) allows it to not be Leech Seeded or Taunted prevents Leech Seed and Taunt.

general note: changing "non-X" to "- lacking X" may fix some awkwardness; say, "Choice Band non-Superpower Dragonite" can be changed to "Choice Band Dragonite lacking Superpower" tho I leave that to your discretion.

Also, be sure to use Oxford commas :).

[OVERVIEW]

Umbreon's great bulk and typing allows it to take on both physical attackers like Zeraora, Landorus-T, and Mega Metagross, (AC) and special attackers like Meloetta, Primarina, and non-Taunt Tapu Lele, and Pokemon with Prankster its Dark typing makes it immune to Prankster from Pokemon like Whimsicott. (reworked this sentence because the part about Prankster felt out of place in a sentence that started by talking about Umbreon's bulk) Umbreon also has great utility moves like Charm and Moonlight that enable it to take on Mega Gyarados, Mega Charizard X, and Choice Scarf Haxorus. Furthermore, Umbreon can pressure setup Pokemon such as Landorus-T and Tapu Lele with Foul Play and prevent Tapu Lele from setting up Calm Mind with Snarl, (AC) respectively (removed mention of Calm Mind because you did not mention Landorus's setup move). However, Umbreon has trouble facing bulky Pokemon such as Porygon2, Magearna, and Z-Move Togekiss. which are able to take it's its attacks and stall it out of Moonlight PP. It also suffers against common Leech Seed users such as Serperior, Jumpluff, and Mega Venusaur because of its inability to do major damage to them and its limited recovery with Moonlight. It further suffers against Taunt users such as Deoxys-S, Tapu Fini, and Kommo-o, as this move Taunt cuts off Umbreon's recovery options and allows them to either stall it out or take it out with their super effective attacks.

Z-Charm makes allows Umbreon able to beat powerful physical attackers such as Mega Gyarados, Choice Scarf Haxorus, Choice Band Garchomp, and Choice Band Dragonite lacking Superpower. Foul Play enables Umbreon to beat physical attackers such as non-Substitute Landorus-T, Jirachi, and Mega Pinsir. Moonlight allows Umbreon to shake off damage after using Z-Charm on Choice Band Garchomp, Choice Scarf Haxorus, or Mega Charizard X or after using Snarl against Tapu Lele or Primarina (Moonlight lets Umbreon shake off damage from any source. This sentence could be reworded to better reflect that those are important calcs, but not exclusively what you use Moonlight for.) Snarl makes allows Umbreon able to beat Tapu Lele and Primarina due to the Special Attack drop.

Set Details

Fairum Z allows Umbreon to use Z-Charm, which allows it to beat Pokemon it cannot without it (redundant) such as non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite and Choice Band Garchomp. Inner Focus allows it to avoid flinches from Jirachi's Iron Head and Mega Gyarados's Waterfall. 252 HP with 228 Defense EVs enable Umbreon to take attacks from Garchomp, Zeraora, and Landorus-T as well as two Outrages from non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite. 28 Special Defense EVs with a Calm nature allow Umbreon to survive Normalium Z-boosted Hyper Beam from bulky Meloetta after Laser Focus, (AC) as well as tank a Moonblast from Primarina and non-Taunt Tapu Lele (Whether or not Lele has Taunt or not doesn't impact whether Umbreon can survive Moonblast).

Usage Tips
========

Umbreon can use Z-Charm to beat physical attackers such as Choice Band Dragonite lacking Superpower, Victini, Landorus-T, and Haxorus, (AC) and use Foul Play to finish them off. Against Mega Metagross, do not use Z-Charm, because it can forgo Mega Evolving to avoid the Attack drop thanks to Clear Body; instead, use Foul Play twice to beat it. It can also stall out Choice Specs Greninja with Snarl and Moonlight and take on Jirachi due to Inner Focus, and using Foul Play to 2HKO it. Against special attackers such as Tapu Lele, Primarina, and Magnezone, Umbreon should use Snarl turn 1, Moonlight turn 2, and Snarl until they get KOed. For Meloetta, it is best to use Snarl on turn 1; if it uses Calm Mind on turn 2, use Snarl again, and if it used Laser Focus, use Moonlight on turn 3 to be able to recover off the damage from Breakneck Blitz. Umbreon should avoid being sent out on most Leech Seed users other than Whimsicott, with the exception of Whimsicott, and walls such as Mega Venusaur, Serperior, Clefable, Registeel, and Mega Slowbro, as it cannot do enough damage to them to beat them. and cannot do major damage back to them. Umbreon can win against Whimsicott only because its Dark typing allows it to avoid Prankster Leech Seed and Taunt.

In return, Umbreon can take on Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Primarina, Fire-types like Mega Charizard X and Y and Steel-types like Mega Metagross and Magnezone for Whimsicott. Flying-types like Togekiss and Flyinium Z Landorus-T can help against Grass-types and Fighting-types such as Mega Venusaur and Serperior and Fighting-types that Umbreon can't beat like Mega Venusaur, Serperior, Kommo-o and Mega Gallade. In return, Umbreon can take on Naganadel and Mega Charizard Y for them. Steel-types such as Magnezone, Mega Metagross and Mega Mawile are great to beat Fairy-type Pokemon that Umbreon has trouble beating such as Mega Diancie, Mega Gardevoir, and Tapu Fini; in return, Umbreon can take on Mega Charizard Y for them. Electric-type Pokemon that can beat Mega Slowbro like Magnezone and Zeraora make great partners for Umbreon. In return, Umbreon can take care of Ground-type Pokemon for these. Fire-types such as Mega Charizard X, Heatran, and Incineroar are great for taking on Steel-types like Registeel and Ferrothorn. Umbreon is able to take on Dragon-types like Haxorus and Garchomp in return.

Toxic can be used over Snarl to take on walls like Porygon2 and non-Rest Slowbro. However, Umbreon can would no longer be able to take on Tapu Lele and Primarina.

Checks and Counters
===================

However, Umbreon has trouble facing bulky Pokemon such as Porygon2, Magearna, and Z-Move Togekiss., (period->comma) which are able to take it's its attacks and stall it out of Moonlight's PP. It also suffers against common Leech Seed users such as Serperior, Jumpluff, and Mega Venusaur because of its inability to do major damage to them and its limited recovery with Moonlight. It further suffers against Taunt users such as Deoxys-S, Tapu Fini, and Kommo-o, as this move it cuts off Umbreon's recovery options and allows them to either stall it out or take it out with their super effective attacks.

Set Details
========

Fairum Z allows Umbreon to use Z-Charm, which allows it to beat Pokemon it cannot without it (sentence feels smoother without this bit) such as non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite and Choice Band Garchomp. Inner Focus allows it to avoid flinches from Jirachi's Iron Head and Mega Gyarados's Waterfall. 252 HP with EVs and 228 Defense EVs enable Umbreon to take attacks from Garchomp, Zeraora, and Landorus-T as well as two Outrages from non-Superpower Choice Band Dragonite. 28 Special Defense EVs with a Calm nature allows Umbreon to survive Normalium Z-boosted Hyper Beam from bulky Meloetta after Laser Focus as well as tank a Moonblast from Primarina and non-Taunt Tapu Lele.

Usage Tips
========

It can also stall out Choice Specs Greninja with Snarl and Moonlight take on Jirachi due to Inner Focus, and using and use Foul Play to 2HKO it. Umbreon should avoid being sent out on most Leech Seed users, with the exception of Whimsicott, and walls such as Mega Venusaur, Serperior, Clefable, Registeel, and Mega Slowbro, as it cannot do enough damage to them to beat them. (RP) and cannot do major damage back to them. Umbreon can win against Whimsicott only because its Dark typing allows it to avoid Prankster Leech Seed and Taunt.

Deoxys-S runs a pressure stall set of Iron Defense, Amnesia, Taunt, and Recover, with its great speed allowing it to boost whatever respective defensive stat it needs to before most things can attack, and taunt to shut down toxic/taunt users. pretty annoying bugger
