UMFL II - Commencement Thread

Me, FishyRoads, and Ea-Nasir, have stolen Ocean's time machine and used it to go back into the past 1 year ago, when Nasir wasn't yet tourbanned. Our findings have revealed that the recent Smogon AI crises was a direct result of the Luso Phiones not winning UMFL I, and we need all the help we can get in order to change the future. DM Ea-Nasir on discord (ea_nassirr) if you're interested in joining the team.

hello! its ocean here, resident top uuber tour player and community member, just wanted to drop some names I want to see in this years UMFL Ubers UU slot, or at least be picked up as for support!!
Draft Duviekk for sure. A user that I think probably could have been an UMPL support slot, and I think that they definitely deserve to be picked up- they know the tier, can build for themselves and will be active. Can also be NFE support I think
Draft Weredude08. A very recent name in terms of Ubers UU, but in RPG they have been a wonderful support for me personally, and they can self-build quite decently as well. They click decent, def good in terms of FL level so this is another valuable pick I would look into
Draft frostymilk. I haven't personally worked with them like the previous two, but they have been a great presence in my DMs and Ubers UU cord, and from I have seen they click good too, someone I think is definitely worth looking into
Draft OatIsHere. They are nice to work with and they click very well from my experiences with him, I have past teams to him historically and he has done pretty well with them, will need builder support but I think they are a worthwhile option- also he can cook heat
like i guess Shadow079 is fine enough at the game, ig you can draft him
Honestly I think that based off the player pool, anyone can do well in this tier if they sign up for it and want to play in it and engage with it, however I think the 4 users above should be drafted. Would recommend some UMPL support for building though just in case. Happy UMFLing!

Out of all the players signing up for the 1v1 tier, I nominate HazelnutFlavor as the best, and i can wholeheartedly say with 99% accuracy i was not bribed, coerced, or told i would be a cool dude if i did this. Yep.

1v1 2v2 recs
cchang21 and BrabreiVGC for 1v1, these ppl've been having an absolute insane run in the more recent 1v1 tours, beating some good players along the way, cchang currently in winners finals of hybrid elimination. safe to say that these will be expensive.
ETJX i was for sure that they were nommed for 2v2 but i guess not, really good player has decent results in tours so far, would highly recommend.
Arpitraj1 did good last umfl in 1v1, things won't change.
True Psycho returned from the ashes, and i think they'll have a decent showing!
LongRat will redefine 2v2 the way we see it, i'm sure of it.
