Manager sign ups of Unofficial Metagame Premier League IV

Hosts: Tuthur, velvet, goldmason

This tournament will feature 6 unofficial metagames: 1v1, 2v2 Doubles AG, NFE, Ubers UU, and ZU. It will be a premier league format where 8 different teams will face each other in 8 intense battles each week. You can find more information in the info/admin thread, but the tier lineup is as follows:

• SV AG (2 slots)
• SV 1v1 Best of 5 (2 slots)
• SV ZU (2 slots)
• SV Ubers UU (2 slots)
• SV 2v2 Best of 5 (1 slot)
• SV NFE (1 slot)

This is the thread for managers to sign up alongside their assistant manager. We are looking for people with great experience in at least one of these tiers, previous manager experience, and we really encourage a diversity of tiers played between a manager & their assistant manager to have the most balanced team. Manager and their assistants are both allowed to purchase themselves as players for 15,000 per person.

The duty of managers and assistant managers are:

- Buying a team with at least 14 slots (10 starters and 4 subs).
- Sending lineups in time.
- Making sure every game is scheduled for and played.
- Facilitating substitutions if it is necessary.

Bio: We are back again for the run back, last year we also managed together (last years sign up: https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/umpl-iii-manager-signups.3727039/post-9759703) and we made it all the way to finals which needed to be decided in a tie breaker, safe to say that we know how to put a UM squad together! Despacito and I have a long history together, from managing to getting top records in 2v2 and other metas and much more, we have a great dynamic together and we are convinced we can pull off an even better run then last time and make the Jirachis a true UM team franchise! We both have put in even more effort in learning the other UMs we used to be less familiar with which led to Despacito slaying in 1v1Wcup, which shows we are even better prepered then last time. On top of that we can also add that we have even more managing experiences under our belt then before with ofcourse last UMPL but also managing Derby II (doubles) together. Last time we had an increadible preformance with a great mix of already established players, and the lesser known players who still have the talent and skill but not the name. But above all that we also had an increadible team atmosphere/environment, which we wanna bring back! :)

"We are looking for people with great experience in at least one of these tiers", Both Despacito and I are statistically the best gen 9 2v2 players and Despacito did very well in the most recent 1v1 Wcup being 2nd in record for US Central. During last UMPL Despacito and I tried to learn the other UMs more in order to support our players as well.

Bio: We both have experience managing tournaments. Nashrock has managed WCOP, bringing China back to the main event, and has had success as a manager in RUWC and NDPL. He also won Doubles Derby, and is very interested in 2v2. As for myself, I am currently in the finals managing PMPL and have managed LPL, WCOP, and SMPL, making it to the playoffs in most of them. I have played in ZUPL, AGPL, ZUWC, UPL, and last UMPL, having experinence in most tiers of this tournament.

Bio: I have managed Brazil in ZUWC, on which we got first seed during first phase and made semis, currently also in ZUPL semis as player with pekos. Both me and Skyiew are currently managing in PTPL (Portuguese Premier League) in separate teams, he is also managing in NDFL. Skyiew has experience in AG, making playoffs of both AG Classic and AGLT this year, and also taking part in AGWL and AGPL. Bio: Managed UU and NU world cup for france (both to quarter final) and last UUSD. I have won the uufpl and done PO to the last one, have done final at the Spanish PL. I'm shadow managing the HPL for the Quakers, I'm currently managing the next edition of the spanish PL, the BSS PL, and the NFE PL.
With my boy IoSonoNeon , we are actually in the final of this last tournament with our team ''Martini Machocke'', and maybe champion the time that you read it (update, We are champions, whouhhooouuuu) My boy Managed in a previous iteration of the NFE PL (from last year then), but also the previous iteration of this tournament. In the past he also managed for DPL IV and DPL V, co-managed in the third, fourth and fifth editions of the roa olympics.

Why picking me?

I love managing tournament, it's like a passion, even more than playing this game, you meet people, you build a team spirit, and you go far together. I'm convinced that the support and motivation are the key of success. I'm always making sure my players are felling good in the team and try to let everyone concerned about the tournament. I give them all that they need, support, love. Our duo worked really well during this last NFE PL, we are looking forward to another great challenge like this tournament.

why you should pick us ?
Entrocefalo in as cap last year and won the umpl, he also had the best record of ag pool, this year he went to the um slam final, he also already won two ag seasonal. He in as cap agpl this year and went in the final. he can cover easily the ag core, and can help Ubers uu slot.
for me, i went in 5-1 last year in umpl in the nfe slot, i had the best record in the nfe pool, i also won nfe open this year, and went to round 7 of seasonal ( i lost because i was call act two times), i also cap dancing monferno with sealoo in nfe pl and reach semi final.
I also played for france in zu world cup and went in 3-1. i also played in agpl where i reach final with my goated team ( i finished in 1-1), i went in demi final of um slam where i lost against entro himself
we also have experience in other team tour.
Also i want to mention we both know how to make a good environnement for our team, and i'm really free.

As for the tiers, RL also have a very deep knowledge of AG playerbase being himself council, QC, roomstaff while also playing the official tournaments (Circuit Playoffs 2023, AGLT Playoffs 2023, AGWL I, AGPL VI...). As for myself I know very well the NFE community: I played NFEPL VI and managed NFEPL VII, won OMFL IV with a positive record in NFE and played the last two UMPL (UMPL II and III). We also recently managed UML (and made finals) together, which is the french UMPL. We had to help our players in every tiers (which means we have experience with near every tiers of the tourmanent) and we liked it! We're motivated and we would love to do it again with this UMPL!
