Anyways imma post my achievements after auction for no reason

1v1pl last year 5-4 (team lost in finals)
1v1pl this year 5-2
HPL last year 6-2 (won finals and have a CA rn)
HPL this year 3-0 rn (tour ongoing, week 4)
umpl last year 3-1 (lost in finals vs shaymins)
Umpl this year x-x

Positive record in every tour i've played related to 1v1 apart from wc (that was cursed imo). Can’t believe u did it zastra gj kid

1. Oblivion Ambers
Akeras, Happysh, Fancy1, Marshmelto, frogfacts

Akeras has recently been doing really well in tours — from being an act king to going positive in every team tour. He went 6-3 in both 1v1PL and UMBD, and honestly, being just above me in the spreadsheet makes him a goat . bern is this Salty Samurotts 2.0?

Happysh has shown steady progress in his portfolio, from 4-3 to 5-3 in 1v1PL. Personally, I think he fits better in 2v2 with Tom’s support (though he’s capable of handling things solo too), which could make them a deadly duo. Fancy1, bought for a cheap price, is definitely a steal and will nail SV5. I’d really like to see him slotted in SV7 someday to test how strong he is there — he’s tough to beat unless you prepare and analyze his clicks thoroughly. Marshmelto is probably going to bench-ride like Mntlty unless he gets a chance in some random week. This is frogfacts’ first real team tour after a long break, if I’m not mistaken. GL Ambers!

2. Mane Remover
Nuxl, Driplegend

Nuxl is a tough opponent in SV7, though I’m still unsure how consistent he really is. Even though he’s gone positive in many tours, subbing out once playoffs were confirmed makes me doubtful. Driplegend had a rough run in this year’s 1v1PL, but that doesn’t take away from him being a circuit champ and 1v1PL winner last year. A strong duo overall, and they’re going to be dominant throughout the tour. GL Mane!

3. United Kingdras
RADU, Bern, LittEleven, sufys

Radu did insanely well last year in UMPL, going 6-1, leading his team to victory in 1v1PL, and more. Let’s see if he can repeat that performance. Bern has been more focused on hosting tours and analyses these days, not super consistent, but with this squad’s experience, they’ll definitely cook. LittEleven keeps proving me wrong whenever I say they’re washed, and now they’re supporting Sufys in HPL — that duo is back again. Sufys didn’t touch the tier for a year, but despite a rough start in HPL, he’s started winning again. Overall, this team’s experience will make things tough for opponents. GL Kingdras!

4. Thunderstorm Titans
neomon , gorilaa, Nunnbetter, bellchime

Neomon bounced back in 1v1PL after a rough run last year, though he’s busier now and will probably bench half the tour with Bellchime. Gorilaa has been on a demon run: 6-1 in UMBD and 6-2 in SS BO7 1v1PL. Let’s see how he performs in this tour against tough BO7 opponents. Nunnbetter is new to SV 1v1 (coming from SS), but he’s been doing well, with strong clicking and building skills, so he’s not reliant on others. GL Titans!

5. Super Sh(a)ymin
Frailty, TGK, lolebruh, Shivam_Z, Felucia

First off, why is there an “a” in the team name brackets? Frailty’s downfall this 1v1PL was tough to watch. Let’s see if they recover in UMPL after losing UMBD semis (thinking “no CA, just load some Vulpix cutie” — I love Vulpix too, so no offense). TGK has been consistent and should go positive again, though I noticed he hasn’t really beaten the toughest opponents yet. Still, he’s been around for a while and finally got chances this year, so let’s see if he finishes strong. Lolebruh is a solid sub, but I’m not sure how he’ll perform in SV since he’s known more for old gens. Shivam_Z is my shameless friend, still not studying and trying to sneak a bench slot for free CA. Go study, bro. Felucia isn’t known for strong builds but has solid clicking instincts compared to Shivam or Lolebruh thanks to her experience. GL Sh(a)ymin!

This team ranks #6 even with Indi, who went 9-1 in 1v1PL, because he won’t support much for SV5 — he’s focused on his own slot and was less active by the final week of PL. LB and Anonymous were my 1v1PL teammates this year, both new to the scene, and can surprise people (though still hard to judge). Nakoruru_XD stopped playing 1v1 for a while, probably because they didn’t see much scope, but will likely get a chance in week 6 or 7. Indi is locked in SV7, so he can’t be replaced. GL Scarlett!

Palestine is also back this tour, and so is Deg. Let’s see how Pale does — I think he went positive last tour despite not being a mainer.

Doom Desire Jirachi, A very old team that has always worked very well. They started with their long-time sidekick Pandadoux who must surely be the best NFE player to cover two slots currently. 29k seems a lot to me but deserved. Zcarlett mh and IoSonoNeon can all play for the second nfe slot and i wouldn't be that surprised if this teams goes #1 in nfe. Swas, FishyRoads, Palestine, Pokemh srvoltmike are all great, ddj have high nuke power and will for sure use it. Tho i found some name like Maxomega Don Bork Dwagon and Razachu surprising, potatochan and seraphz are good steals, a great solid draft in general. Also they finaly decided to self buy one of them and i find the idea really good let's hopte it will be key for them ! Even if zu is their weakness this year.

Really Really Solid draft there that should have been number 1 but i'm worried about some possible under perform. Titans bought for a lot yuki and then Celeste, celeste that high while it's their first umpl might be too much but i think the price is enough fair because ubers uu pool was not that big. Yuki didn't have great record this umbd and last year but has high knowledge in 2v2 and will be able to help smudge for the second 2v2 slot, a good 2v2 core for 27.5k not a lot for a trio who can't really cover 2v2 at all ! DD joe was a nice buy 6.5 feels like the biggest steal of the tournament, can help both zu and nfe like sleid he also clicks really well and make zu & nfe really well covered by him and sleid. Lotiasite and lana are both great buy, paired to adhi their ag should go well even if i'm a little bit surprised about adhi's self buy. Every late 3k feels great for me. Best of Luck Adhi sleid my friends.

I decided to change mane and combustion position. I can't really argue there, i wasn't a fan of their auction buying 5 big players early felt really weird, but to win a week you need 7 wins so they are actually in a good position. It's either everything or nothing in my point of wiew, concept and incredibleking are nice cheap players, same as Valiant Valerie and Plague.

Hmm, Kaif 31.5 feels a lot but also ok, i liked how they knew they had to stop buying for a while but somehow they got a lot of players in like 8 turns and i think it kinda ruined theyr late auction, nice name there their nfe feels very weak, zu feels de same, still a nice team with huge nuke power, if they want the qual they need nuxl frito kaif to go really well

Nice squad, tho vessels might have spend too much in ag early, Bread Sandwich 13k IS A LOT, The Strap and ZowwyCafé are both great players i assume strap will play nfe then but was still not the best shot. Blanched 25k is so much when they said they wouldn't be so active or something like that, otherwise if they will be the price is fair. Arcanine1929 is a nice second 2v2 slot and will go well with blanched help. ZU looks great, Execpt Slikkles i wonder where is their ubers uu core + slikkles might need some help at building, tho they had great cheap players and might be the key of their draft.

I feel like shymin have 2 players per tier and hope it will work, i find 3k players like sificon and sheepie ( no offense to player directly) kinda stupid buys from shymin because they have 2 managers who touch every ums but not at the highest level and you add 2 others players who do the same while your zu might have needed more support same for ubers uu because i didn't see rasche play the tier since a while.

The real unbiased NFE top4 pr:

1. The Strap: it's THE Strap.... Make sure he has solid six and numbers will add up.
2. Shing: No one else cares more about this tier and tries to find new ways as hard as Shing to keep things alive. May not be the best clicker every day he shows up, but building and passion makes it up every single time. If he brings his A-game, he topping the pool all day long
3. Kingler: Who ever let him pair with Strap can consider them misplaying during draft. Kingler came back from his hiatus stronger than ever. Was already a crackhead clicker before taking his time off and nothing seems to be stoppin him now.
4. 5Dots: Close to same with Shing. While 5Dots may be more consistent clicker, Shing is more consistent builder. Dotter knows the tier inside out and never seen him doing bad. No matter how the pool been looking.

A big, nice thank you to Titans for being such a cool team to be on. Itchy You're probably the best manager I've cooperated with. Great effort from Adhi sleid and the rest of the team. S/o to the people that chatted with me about this tier, as I hadn't touched SV prior to this Itchy gorilaa neomon bellchime . Rooting for the Big Baller Barraskewdas, I mean Star Plasma Vessels to win it all Blanched Close Kala chasmah Mishlef .

PandaDoux Man, we are now 4 or 5 tours in deep together and its always a blast to have you on! And within all those tours where we join forces we only have not made POs once, but next year panda, it is writen in the stars, we will win! You are probably one of if not the player ive teamed with the most and that also means ive written something like 4 shout out posts already hahaha. I don't think there is anything new to say in that regard, you already know that I think youre the goat and that I hope we'll see you again next year on the DDJs or maybe even the KoniKoni Kingdras if they ever return. Its essential for a team that your non starter players are not just benchriders but actually helping the team out, which is often an underlooked and underappricated job which not a whole lot of non starter players end up doing. You however were always active and trying to help people and had a great attitude and I think that is prolly the thing I enjoy the most seeing in players. Just know, while the job you furfilled while not playing (and while playing!) is not often as much appriciated as it should be, I saw you putting it in the work! Well, Vessels, we had a good run. This was my first time ever managing a team, and what I would say was my first real involvement in the UM community outside of AG. And let me tell you, I had a blast. You all did an amazing job and we had an incredible season. It sucks that it had to fall so short in the end, but I hope you all nonetheless enjoyed being on the team and UMPL in general.

First and foremost, I have to say thank you to zastra. This all began because he asked randomly in cord if anyone wanted to join his team as a third manager. Even with my experience only with AG, zastra and ojr took me on and provided me the opportunity to experience being a full-fledged manager. It was clearly the best decision they made, as my presence alone drastically improved the team's performance compared to last year. But in all seriousness, I learned a lot about being a good manager from them, and it was an honor to manage alongside you both.

Now to all the player shoutouts, in no particular order other than tier:

Kala chasmah lost heros you guys did a great job in the 1v1 bo7 slot. You were always cooking up some great cores, and even beyond that were just amazing presences to have in the team cord. You guys put a lot of time and effort into the team, and I appreciate that. I hope to be able to team with you guys again soon.
Close what an amazing season out of you. Leading the team with 5 wins and always putting out strong performances. A manager truly could not ask for anything better.

Blanched you also did an amazing job in 2v2. It's a hard tier to play, but you cooked up great teams and came out positive amid facing strong opponents. The 2v2 tax was well paid on you.
Arcanine1929 the last 2v2 main. I truly cannot believe we got you for so cheap. You did an incredible job, helping with both 2v2 slots and putting up an impressive record yourself. Your knowledge of the tier never ceased to amaze me.
Opelucid i'm sorry we weren't able to put you in more, but thank you for being present and ready to help support our 2v2 slots.

ZowwyCafé♪ and Bread Sandwich we really had our ups and downs throughout the season there. I'm really sorry I couldn't help you guys end up with a better record. Nonetheless, I had a great time being able to work with you guys each week to prep for your opponents. It was not my first time being on a team with you both, and I hope that it won't be the last.

Kingler you and your no johns. Man, you gave us managers heart attacks trying to get you teams for a match on like Wednesday. That being said, you did a great job and I would love to be able to team with you again.
The Strap it was an honor to be in the same team cord as you. I had heard legends of your greatness, and I got to witness them firsthand. Your aura alone is unmatched, and your skill is incredible as well. I hope that I find myself battling alongside you in another team tour down the road.
MethMaster4546 you helped out in so many different spots. I'm so glad that you were drafted, because you put in a lot of work helping out multiple slots and were just awesome to talk with. You put in a lot of work in the uubers slots, and also did in incredible job stepping up as a manager in the middle of the season. One Last Kiss this season really had its ups and downs, but you put in the work for the second zu slot and still had a strong record. There truly was never a dull moment when you were around.

There were definitely some hectic moments, but they were extremely well handled and you guys were on top of all your various hosting duties. And there was also a very enjoyable Fragments sub-plot. I think that covers everything that I wanted to say. I love you all and I had a great time in UMPL. Congrats to the Manes for making it to the finals, and I wish you luck against whomever your opponents turn out to be.

There were honestly a few moments this tour I thought I'd never want to manage again but damn, there can't be better feeling in this hobby than watching my 1 hour-old prep completely bot game 12 of finals. I'm really proud of the height I've reached in 2v2 and I want to stick around the umsphere for a while to help it grow now that I'm able to appreciate it fully (mild irony there considering my 2v2pl manager signup was 50%~ a joke). I think I can also conclude that I've mostly fallen out of love with 1v1 at this point. My input was always tangential and the teams I did pass consistently got rancid previews. Already got my 5(!!?!) years of mileage so np. Still probably always gonna find some time in a year to run up some ss bc im addicted anyway :P

Really great showing from the kingdras too, both of our weeks were my favorites of the tour and it came down to the wire both times.

Anyway onto the shoutouts:

Frito WE GOT OUR WIN!! I think this and umbd were our first serious attempts to get a win together in a tour we can both contribute to and it's a relief to get redemption in the 2nd attempt. I really don't know where either of us will be in the future but thanks for being a friend and always sticking with me throughout the years. I don't wanna be a big sap on smogon.com but it's just nice to finally form something concrete (even as silly as a umpl tour win) with you. Also obv ur god at uubers (finals curse notwithstanding).

Nuxl eli :DD You expressed a lot of disappointment over this tour but I really mean it when I say don't worry about your performance. My goal was always to win with you (and everyone else), not to self-buy a broken slot, and we did it. +a bunch of wins were clutch for the week like wut. It's always really fun for me to think back to how quickly we became friends and how we are now both kinda seen as a unit now.

Kaif 24-5 all time. Your consistency in this tier is actually so insane even when you're just messing around with 60% gas in the tank. I don't really have much else to say we've won before and you've been my bro ever since u called me shit on the ss 1v1 ladder for running av genesect x_x

Iride You've been a rly dependable teammate both times now. Also, if it wasn't for that one scheduling mishap you would've likely tied the best uubers record of the tour !_! Terracotta I think to everyone you were pretty solid as a dark horse this tour. A 4k buy that not only labs his own tier but builds for ZU and AG? Really think the contributions you outpaced in our cord had such an impact that led to our victory. It was incredibly important that this also paired well with the other managers - they could focus on what they were best at (2v2/UUbers) and you were putting up records in NFE with your crazy ass (but effective) builds but I think other slots really appreciated your impact. Please let bird retain you next year lmfao they’ll love it.

Indisputably I think your slot had a lot of intermittent pressure - your 2v2 partner is literally the goat of his tier that we fucking spent 32k on and your manager solo-carried his entire 2v2 PL team to a chip. Anything less than positive for you is a failure on us. So it was then really fucking funny when you showed up, flipped a coin as to decide whether you would take 30 or 150 seconds on preview, and then either got flamed really hard or were crowned as the goat. LOL. Thanks for listening to me when I said to use your timer like 3 times much love from then on xx. bird really wanted you (or someone like you, I guess) to just accept their teams, pilot away, and do their best, and really, I think you did a great job. Sorry about the w2 incident LOL omg bird was so mean for thatttt omggg but you’re really a good sport regarding criticism/play behavior and ultimately you seem like a good player who would do better in non-weighted coin flip tiers such as, uh, 2v2. Iride You’re so graceful it’s scary. I feel like that’s a really weird adjective but you’d just show up on Thursday or Friday, win your game, then say go team and leave in all lowercase as we watch you dismantle another UUbers slot. You never seemed to be mad - despite you going 7-1 - when your back broke and we lose weeks cos fatasses like me and bumass no effort kaif are losing to just about anyone LOL. You just appeared to win and cheer us on and leave like an assassin. I don’t have much more to say beyond that this type of behavior probably just means you’re an excellent teammate no matter where you land, so thanks so much for being apart of the Manes’ journey.

I think it’s really funny that you had this like really disgusting year of negative 1v1 records then this tour you like still lowkey just did not care, we agreed to just steal teams for the first half of the season and you went positive..?. You prob lowkey cheated as YOUR KIND tends to do- nah but, I think you really needed this. You are obviously an important friend to me so it sucks to watch friends fall down. I think it’s hard to just play after being on a bad streak - you just feel unconfident about your prep, and you show up to another week being like fuck am I gonna let my team down lmfao. Kaif crow crumbs Thanks guys for giving this another go. I did really appreciate you guys listening to me pitching to afa last year and being willing to ride on that team. We ended up winning that tour and, well, while I feel like I was obviously more happy that time (6-1 GOATTT) I feel pretty sentimental running it back with two of some really close internet friends of mine and doing it again. We are the back to back champions from last year’s Shymins and this year’s Manes, so let’s celebrate.

Kaif, 32k horribly spent during auction why the fuck did we do that tbh? Imagine the reality we just buy our other 2v2 option(s) instead and send you to some hell team Bye Bye. But we won so… best purchase ever? You lowkey/highkey annoy me sometimes but I obviously have to appreciate that you ended up introducing me to this tier. While I’m probably not a first rank general like your best protege LittEleven is I hope you have had good times with me on your teams and thnx for letting me backpack while you carry me this time lmao - I guess having such good friends is nice when ppl like me inevitably eat shit XD. And ultimately, part of that process is playing with your friends too, which is why we couldn’t abandon you. You are obviously the goat of your 2v2 empire, but maybe with how the prices went this UMPL maybe you should start managing… and stick to it. Thanks for always supporting me and trying to find spots for me on your teams. It’s nice to have loyal and headstrong people like you by my side.

Bird, I think you walked out of auction feeling a bit like you fucked up. Disregarding some stuff I prob shouldn’t name (sorry to some people and you know why I say that ha ha) - if we didn’t win week 1 I thought you’d say “this was a learning process auction and we go next”. Did you think you would win finals in this fashion? I’d like to express the pronoun “you” here, since ultimately you crafted the bulk of the draft, you worked your ass off trying to support the tiers you knew, you kept the teamcord staying morally positive, you rolled out scouts, you pushed lineup decisions with what you thought was best, and you delegated people when you needed to. Ultimately I think maybe this was a better result than you could have dreamed of when you finished. Not to mention a sort of fairytale story getting a back to back, in 2-5 to 7-5 fashion, while still holding onto that UMBD fall at the last minute combined with such other journeys found in other tiers like 1v1, 2v2, or your multiple TT victories this year. Every time a UM team tour pops up you really are the manager to beat. And so despite all of your other journeys this really is your crown most of all. Thanks for generously letting someone like me be by your side through a good chunk of it. I’m happy that we are such close friends as we are.

I'm gonna start this off by saying it feels so good to win this after coming so close in UMBD but just falling short. Massive GGs to the Kingdras for dominating the whole tournament and for the amazing finals series. I wish it could have been slightly cleaner, but in the end, sometimes the Pokemon gods just decide it isn't your day. I'm sorry for all the luck on Sunday.

I'll post a more personal reflection of my season as a player soon, but overall I'm a bit disappointed with basically repeating my UMBD performance (7-2 and losing to the same player twice, including finals). I really wish I could have brought it home in finals with how reliable I was for the rest of the season, but sometimes you run into DD TB Flying Eleceus and have no counterplay... (side note wtf is that Taka... how do you even come up with that). I had a lot of fun exploring the new meta after Week 3, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what Ubers UU PL brings.

As a manager, I know I wasn't the best due to my general lack of activity throughout the tour. That's kinda how it goes when you're managing for the cheap self buy price and not as a manager first. I want to apologize to everyone on my team for that because I really let you guys down in that department. I'm sorry that I wasn't active for most of the tour, but I'm so so happy everyone managed to clutch it up in the end and bring home the W!

Celeste I'm so sorry you didn't end up here due to all the auction issues. We were supposed to run it back after UMBD and that was one of my main reasons for self buying when I wouldn't have otherwise. None of my success this tour could have been achieved without you sanity checking my prep and bouncing ideas off of you. I wish we could share this win together, but I know someday we will get that opportunity. You're still my best friend and thank you for sticking with my through the tournament even if there were many moments you didn't want to. ILY <3

Iride What an amazing season you had without my support for almost all of it. I'm sorry for my lack of help or activity in the first few weeks, but clearly you didn't need it. We shared a similar view on the meta, but you showed me the power of Dialga throughout the tour and in the limited testing we did. I hope to see you around Ubers UU more because damn this was an impressive showing!

Terracotta The GOAT. You showed up for this tour with low expectations but put in the work as always. I've had the pleasure of teaming with you across many different tours and tiers across this website, and you always impress me with the creativity and effort you put into each week. I'm so glad you got to have a great tour in NFE and that we got to win this together. Truly you are one of the best teammates I've ever had on this website and definitely the biggest team player I've been lucky enough to team with.

PlayaBeavs I won't ever forget our NFEPL game where Ice Shard was inexplicably not clicked, but that game showed me a lot of good qualities about you. I'm very glad we got to team together here and I got to see you shine in a tier you are more comfortable in. Also don't listen to crow crumbs and Nuxl keep rfn'ing. It makes things more entertaining. Same applies to you Fille

Fille Thank you for stepping into the ZU role and doing quite well. Even if my other cos didn't love it, I adored the rfn ZU gaming and the 1-1 ZU meme. You are absolutely insane but in a funny way. I'm happy we got to team officially after my lurking in Dynamos last year!

RL Lyna xinnobu I know none of you had the tour you would have hoped for at the start and I have to apologize for leaving you guys with almost no internal support for the whole season. AG was supposed to be the other slot I helped out in this tour, but I didn't and that's entirely my bad. I appreciate you all putting in the effort every week even if the results didn't quite go your way in game. I hope to team with each of you again because you all have great ideas and the skills to do well. Don't let the records get you down because we still won in the end!

Nashrock bleahey vooper Thank you all for rotating through the NFE slots even if the results weren't what you hoped for. I wish I could have helped out more, but even after NFEPL, I felt pretty lost in this tier. I hope we all get another opportunity to team with each other in the future and everyone can find more success.

DripLegend :biheart: We finally won one of this oh my god... It only took you being 7k after absolutely INTING our UMBD run by going for 20k then winning 1 game in ZU. All good though because you showed up big time here. I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about 1v1 but you were reliable for the whole tour in both 5 and 7. Thank you for putting up with all my teasing and antics about being... well you for the whole tour. Next time, carry me to a trophy like I did for you in WCoP though...

LogIce I had seen you around in various draft spaces over the years, but never interacted with you. I'm glad bird suggested picking you up because I've got no clue what's happening in the numbers tiers :joy: You clutched it up at the biggest moment and only got better as the season went on. It was a pleasure teaming with you and just chatting away in the general chat. Enjoy the U being added to your banner!

Kaif We don't quite get along, but you clutched it up big time in finals solidifying our comeback. Even without putting in full effort for most of the tour, you still showed why you're the best player in the 2v2 pool when it mattered the most. I wish things could have gone better but 32k kinda destroyed all of our draft plans. NP though. You're a good dude and I'm glad we won this after teaming in UMPL a few years ago (where I got farmed)

TyCarter queso Carl The Turtle Thank you all for being around to sub in whenever we needed. It's always a luxury as a manager to have subs we could rely on, and you guys filled that role every time. I wish you all could have played more, but I think everyone is happy being carried to a W and custom.

Nuxl Don't let this performance get you down dude. You were absolutely instrumental to us succeeding in this tour with everything else you provided beyond the game. I know you wanted to do better individually, but sometimes you just gotta get in the backpack and go along for the ride. Mons is mons and things don't work out all the time. I'm sure you'll be back to you X-1 ways in no time. Thank you for essentially dealing with me cancering for weeks after the auction and trusting me to keep winning.

crow crumbs Well, here we are. We actually won this after coming so unbelievably close in UMBD but falling just short due to everyone impersonating DripLegend in finals. I made it no secret that I was not happy with how the auction played out when I was at work, but you ended up putting together the strongest roster in the tour for the second time in a row. I wish less people had gotten snaked, but auctions are a bit random sometimes. Thank you as well for dealing with my cancering in the beginning of the tour. I'm very glad that I managed to win something with someone who I consider a good friend here on smogon.com after numerous failed attempts. You are a fantastic builder in whatever tier you set your sights on, and it came in huge here when the numbers tiers needed help. Holy fuck we actually won this shit after everything....
