Anyways, this week's Pokemon is a mon that was recently put in S rank and has not been here for long and that mon is...

This little nucleus has made its presence known in the UnderUsed tier and I am excited to see what all these regulars (i.e. the ones who usually submit partners) can come up with! Have fun and see you guys ~Wednesday! :)

Chesnaught please.

Jesus Christ, so many slashes.

Reuniclus @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock / Psychic
- Focus Blast / Shadow Ball
- Recover

Chesnaught @ Leftovers / Rocky Helmet
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Spiky Shield
- Drain Punch / Wood Hammer

Chesnaught and CM Reuniclus form a pretty formidable core with each other. Their type synergy with each other is pretty good as Chesnaught can handle most Dark types, while Reuniclus obviously can set up on opposing Psychic types. Chesnaught can also provide some solid entry hazard support in the form of Spikes, which wears down opponents, helping Reuniclus sweep easier. Leech Seed can also help wear down opponents even more.

Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Megahorn
- Knock Off
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge

At first I was going to run Assault Vest Machamp but quickly realized that core had minimal coverage for Psychic types and was slow other than the fact that it had Bullet Punch, which didn't do much damage.

So instead, I decided on Choice Scarfed Heracross due to it's good mix of speed, power, and good typing synergy with Reuniclus. It has moves that gives it coverage against it's biggest threats like Doublade and Honchkrow. Heracross has good coverage for the ghost, dark, and other bugs that can overwhelm Reuniclus, and Reuniclus can set up on pokemon like Crobat, Salamence, and Aerodactyl.

Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball

Pangoro @ Life Orb
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Hammer Arm
- Knock Off
- Gunk Shot
- Parting Shot / Swords Dance

This core is fucking scary as shit. This is especially the case against offense. Trick Room has always made me scared, and this is probably the reason why. Pangoro is arguably the best Reuniclus partner on Trick Room, it wallbreaks extremely well, it resists Ghost and quad resists Dark, it has unresisted coverage, and hits like a fucking truck. Have a Pokemon it can't OHKO? Well, jokes on you, it can use Swords Dance or it can even parting Shot into Reuniclus during the last turn of Trick Room so Reuniclus can set Trick Room again and create 4 more horrid turns for you to endure the onslaught of this terrifying core.

All these fighting types are cute n_n

Yanmega @ Life Orb / Choice Specs
Ability: Speed Boost / Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Shadow Ball
- Protect / U-turn

CM Reuniclus is a deadly sweeper but if foe has a strong dark, bug or ghost type you can't start setting up yet. That's where Yanmega comes in handy. Bug buzz smashes darks, air slash takes care of bugs and most importantly shadow ball lures ghosts (mainly Doublade) opening a path to a Reuniclus sweep. CM Reuniclus gives stall a hard time while speed boost Yanmega counter sweeps offense. You can even change the roles by making Reuniclus nightmare to offense with a LO TR set and dismantle opponents "resists" with SpecsLens Yanmega.

Beedrill @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- U-turn
- Protect
- Poison Jab
- Knock Off

Most of Beedrill's switchins are fodder for CM Reuniclus. These include Crobat, Aggron, Forry, Gligar, Nidos somewhat, and fat waters like Suicune. Knock off lures Doublade and cripples it, which hardwalls Reuniclus without shadow ball. Beedrill's U-Turn also slays all Dark types, so not only do Dark types have to think twice about switching into Reuniclus on a Focus Blast, but they have to be wary of a Beedrill double switch.

Fancy intros are hard, and I'm tired of looking at things in terms of types. Never seems to work. Instead, I'm using it in terms of team-roles.

Kubrick (Reuniclus) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Focus Blast

Swayze? (Sceptile) @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Giga Drain
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fire]

CM Reuniclus is really a titan of wall breaking, and its own support and status immunity allow it to punch holes in otherwise bulky and unstoppable walls. So a good teammate is one that appreciates bulky mons being weakened, or taken out all together. Mega Sceptile is the first that comes to mind, and it seems to work well, as Reuniclus takes on Mega Aero, Crobat, Mamoswine, Roserade and Entei to some degree, before Sceptile acts as a cleaner, whose immense speed takes on opponents Reuniclus can't match, like Krookodile, Sharpedo and Salamence
HP Fire is used over Focus Blast because it 2HKOs both Doublade and Escavalier, which give both mons trouble without it. Keep Wish support and try to get some entry hazards for a good clean win!

Virizion and Reuniclus... UNITE!!

We have an epic green duo here people! Virizion and Reuniclus were practically born for each other! Now I am kinda surprised that no one has chosen cobalion yet. It is honestly one of the best reuniclus partners, but of course, Virizion is better! For one virizion can switch into Krookodile pretty safely. It resists both stabs and benefits from a knock off. Th big reason I chose Virizion over Cobalion is that Virizion has synthesis (a way to recover health). This is especially important when taking multiple hits for Reuniclus. Below are the perfect complimentary sets for the job.

Here we have my classic stall breaker virizion with CM Shadow Ball Reuniclus. Its Shadow Ball for Doublade and a to ensure you kill off chandy at plus 1. Focus blast is hardly needed since you have virizion with you. Virizion breaks down walls and covers a multitude of Reuniclus weaknesses. For one, reuniclus no longer has to worry about Hydreigon. Virizion takes it on very well with its high Spdef. Virizion also has enough speed to catch adamant Mamo which can be helpful after reuniclus wears it down with its own LO. You just switch virizion into the knock off or EQ and hit it with a sacred sword. The cool thing about sacred sword is Snorlax. Snorlax's defense boosts don't matter which leave virizion a descent check. This Virizion does not play well with poison types but Reuniclus does :). Reuniclus also takes any psychic moves aimed Virizion's way with ease. This is an epic defensive duo that you have got to try out!

May post more later with calcs and such but I have to get some sleep :O

deadline where? anyway here goes nothing >_>
Specs Reuniclus and Mienshao
Most people are running standard CM sets.. WEAK. Here's a cool little core with Specs Future Sight Reuni.
579.gif

Reuniclus @ Choice Specs
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock / Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Future Sight

mienshao.gif

Mienshao @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge

I actually had this core in a couple of my UU open games (I didn't save the replays for the sake of not leaking teams and I never ladder anymore so no replays there >_>). The core works pretty much like this. Mienshao comes in and most likely will force a switch. Common Mienshao switch-ins include Crobat, Nidoqueen, Florges, etc. You U-turn out on the Crobat switch for example and come in with Reuniclus. Reuniclus vs any poison type is pretty much a mismatch so it will most likely force a switch as well. This is when you Future Sight and keep an incredible amount of pressure on your opponent. Other teammates could include any special wall like Snorlax or Florges to help take a Dark Pulse or Draco from Hydreigon. Also some nice Special attacking wallbreakers like Nidoqueen can help with Fairies. But yeah, this is a really cool core that a lot of you should try out :]
