Union Room Battles

For awhile now I've been wondering how one could possibly make a team that actually works in the union room. For anyone who didn't know the union room has this nasty little rule that you must have at least 2 pokemon that are level 30 or lower.

This really hinders what you're able to do with your team, because lvl 30 pokemon just don't stand a chance against lvl 100's. Now we all know about the lvl 1 Smeargle Endeavor set, which can also be used by a couple of other pokemon, but aside from that what other strategies can you think of where it would actually benefit to be such a low level?

Drifblim's Aftermath could be somewhat useful as a sacrifice as it will do 25% of their health if they died from a physical hit. You send it in to die, the opponent takes 25% and your next pokemon gets to come in for free. I know having something on your team for the sole purpose of sacrificing it isn't really a good idea, but when no matter what you pick is just going to die in one hit, this is a little better than some other things.

How 'bout:

Pokemon @ Focus Sash
-Sleep Move
-Spikes/Toxic Spikes/SR
-Stat Increaser move
-Baton Pass

I run a set like this in my OU team, and it pwns, as noone suspects it

Venomoth @ Focus Sash
Ability: Shield Dust
EVs: 255 Sp.Atk/255Spd (if its holding FS, you wouldn't want to up its defences, so 255)
Moves:
-Sleep Powder
-Toixc Spikes
-Agility
-Baton Pass

Tell me what you think of it.

EDIT: sorry for the double post

DOUBLE EDIT: nvm, although I am sorry for the double edit.

Alot of people around where I live use the Union Room. I like to chill in there with most of my team and just pwn them as none of them are really that good. I've been using FEAR Smeargle and a Drifblim, neither of which have been particularly useful. I've never heard anyone call it FEAR though... >.<;;

What, really? My problem with the Union Room was that you couldn't set levels like you could over Wi-Fi, which meant all the Pokemon had to be at the same level. I've stopped bothering to raise Pokemon ever since learning that they had done away with Open Level/Level 50 at the Tower - I've stopped raising my new Scizor, Starmie, and Heracross at Level 50. This has led to pariculalry lopsided games where my L50 EndRev 'Cross does about 30% damage to an L70 Palkia, or some other big-level Pokemon.

Drifblim is very useful for other things, such as passing stockpiles and the unburden/berry bonuses, I regularly use him on my OU team. Aftermath is pretty much useless (unless somehow coupled with endeavor, hmmm) and I've always thought of these FEAR-like pokes as just clever gimmicks (usually filler) not really usable.

Unburden boost doesn't pass IIRC.

FEAR set is ok. Seriously, what's the possibility of seeing a Level 20 Tyranitar? A Level 20 Hippowdon / Hippopotas? Not much.

Shuppet @ Focus sash
No EV'S
Quiet nature

-Trick room
-Destiny bond
-Will-o-wisp
-Night shade

Use trick room on the first turn, The opponent attacks, you hold on with focus sash. destiny bond and take your opponents life

Due to the level, the metagame is going to be more offensively directed, so Blissey might not be as good as she is in Lv.100.

Another thing that impacts this is the fact that Garchomp does not exist (and so does the rest of the 600 BST not counting Pomeg glitch, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi or Manaphy).

Dragon Rage can 3HKO stuff in here as well.

What is Pomeg Glitch?

I think that Fear, or Ralts with Trick Room, Destiny Bond, Hypnosis and W-o-W hurts a lot if you want to use a Trick Room team, and with Smeargle with Spore, Endeavor, Ice Shard and Dragon Rage, you can take stuff with or without Trick Room.

What is Pomeg Glitch?
A glitch exclusive to Emerald.

Basically, you need to have a 1 HP pokemon with HP EVs (NOT Shedinja). You use the Pomeg berry and it should bring your pokemon into an undead state (I don't remember the specifics but I believe it puts you to ?35 HP or something like that).

Using that glitch, the game thinks that your pokemon is both dead and alive. You can then train the pokemon inside the egg during this Pomeg glitch state, although you'll need a revive to revive the dead pogey so you won't white out in the middle of the battle. Basically, you should see a pokemon with a palette of the egg. The pokemon's name is EGG, and the gender is the embryo's gender. This will allow you to train the pokemon inside the egg, learning new moves along the way, and it can evolve as well (Egg evolving into Gengar was a nice moment for me). Then, when the egg hatches, it will be set back to level 5. I believe the EVs are resetted, but the pokemon moves and the pokemon aren't. (You can get a Tyranitar on Lv.5 this way). Stolen items will also be deleted, and happiness is resetted.
