Ursaluna @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 132 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Facade
- Ice Punch
- Drain Punch
Ursaluna smashes through UU as a powerful wallbreaker that can take advantage of Pokemon like Slowking, Toxapex, and Tornadus-T. With the boost from Guts, Facade 2HKOes Hippowdon and OHKOes Slowking, Zapdos, and Rotom-W after some prior damage. Earthquake hits Steel- and Ghost-types such as Tinkaton, Skeledirge, and Pecharunt for super effective damage. Ice Punch enables Ursaluna to have a chance to OHKO Hydrapple as well as being another option against Tornadus-T and Latios. Drain Punch gives Ursaluna the ability to heal off Flame Orb chip damage as well as hitting Tyranitar harder. The EV spread enables Ursaluna to outspeed Skeledirge. Tera Ghost gives Ursaluna an immunity to Fighting-type moves from Cobalion, Mienshao, and Okidogi while blocking Rapid Spin from Excadrill. Ursaluna struggles with faster wallbreakers such as Greninja and Latios, so appreciates checks to these Pokemon such as Tornadus-T and Tinkaton as teammates. Ursaluna does not want to switch directly into attacks, so it appreciates being brought in freely against Pokemon like Slowking by pivots such as Tornadus-T and Cobalion.
