Urshifu-R is a threatening wallbreaker; its high base power STAB moves and stellar Attack stat in tandem with Choice Band make it incredibly hard to safely switch into. U-turn allows for Urshifu-R to keep momentum as well as chip Slowking and Jumbao. Aqua Jet allows Urshifu-R to revenge kill Volcarona and weakened Cawmodore, Weavile, and Garchomp. Thunder Punch is an option that allows Urshifu-R to work around its usual bulky Water-type checks such as Slowking, Toxapex, and Tapu Fini. An Adamant nature can be used if more power is desired, but this leaves Urshifu-R outsped by the likes of Kyurem, Tapu Lele, and Jumbao.

Urshifu-R appreciates being paired up with Weavile, Dragapult, and Kartana, as they are able to clean through opposing teams after it has weakened down walls like Toxapex and Ferrothorn. These Pokemon also appreciate being brought in for free via U-turn. Pokemon such as Landorus-T and Corviknight make for a stellar combination with Urshifu-R, as they are able to pivot it in safely and can deal with the Electric- and Fairy-types that threaten it out, respectively. Slowking and Galarian Slowking are able to help Urshifu-R break through the likes of Toxapex, Arghonaut, and Buzzwole thanks to Future Sight. Urshifu-R's weakness to Grass-types such as Kartana, Rillaboom, and Jumbao make pairing it up with Grass-resistant Pokemon like Astrolotl and Corviknight pivotal, while other Steel-types like Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Equilibra can help ward off threatening Psychic- and Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Tapu Koko.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
====

Protective Pads can be used to avoid common contact-punishing Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Zapdos, and Rocky Helmet Tomohawk, Skarmory, and Buzzwole. A Choice Scarf variant can also be run, as it turns Urshifu-R into a fast revenge killer and tool against hyper offense teams, being able to easily revenge kill the likes of Cawmodore, Arctozolt, and Weavile. However, the power loss of not running Choice Band will make Urshifu-R unable to break through Tapu Fini, Arghonaut, and Buzzwole.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physically Defensive Walls**: Dragonite, Tomohawk, and Buzzwole are able to switch into Urshifu-R's attacks with relative ease and force it out with their STAB options or punish it with Rocky Helmet in the case of the latter two.

**Bulky Water-types**: Toxapex, Tapu Fini, and Slowbro can safely switch into both of Urshifu-R's STAB moves and force it to switch out; however, Tapu Fini gets worn down relatively quickly if Urshifu-R is running Thunder Punch. Arghonaut resist Urshifu's Surging Strikes and narrowly avoids the 2HKO from Thunder Punch, but it cannot safely switch into Close Combat.

**Grass-types**: Bulky Grass-types such as Tangrowth, Amoonguss, and Ferrothorn are able to switch into Urshifu's Water-type attacks, though the latter is risky as it is OHKOed by Close Combat. Meanwhile, offensive Grass-types such as Rillaboom, Kartana, and Jumbao are able to easily threaten Urshifu-R out with their powerful STAB attacks, though the former two cannot switch directly into it.

**Faster Pokemon and Priority**: Faster Pokemon such as Zeraora, Tornadus-T, Dragapult, and Tapu Koko are able to revenge kill Urshifu-R due to their higher Speed and their super effective moves or strong special attacks.

Urshifu-RS is a threatening wallbreaker, its high base power STAB moves and stellar attack stat in tandem with a Choice Band make it incredibly hard to safely switch into. Surging Strikes makes for a powerful attacking move, hitting the likes of Tornadus-T, Slowking-G, and Clefable. Meanwhile, Close Combat is able to hit common Water-type resists such as Arghonaut and Gastrodon. You don't need a whole two sentences talking about its STAB moves. If you want to mention the synergy between the two, mention it in one short sentence, but saying what Surging Strikes and CC individually hit is not needed. U-turn allows for Urshifu-RS to keep up momentum as well as chip down the likes of Slowking and Jumbao, trying to switch into any of its main attacking moves. Aqua jet gives Urshifu-RS a priority option to be able to revenge kill the likes of Volcarona, Garchomp, and Cawmodore, after they've been weakened by its teammates. Meanwhile, Thunder Punch is an option that allows Urshifu to hit the likes of Slowking, Toxapex, and Arghonaut Slowbro Close Combat hits Argho harder than TPunch, so I'd mention Slowbro here or just not have a third example for super effective damage. An Adamant nature can be used if more power is desired, but this leaves Urshifu outsped by the likes of Kyurem, Tapu Lele, and Excadrill Jumbao Jumbao is a more relevant example in my opinion.

Urshifu appreciates being paired up with the likes of Weavile, Dragapult, and Kartana, as they are able to clean through opposing teams after it has broken holes in them. Pokemon such as Landorus-T and Corviknight (remove commas) and Slowking make for a stellar combination with Urshifu as they are able to pivot it in safely.(added period) Slowking and Slowking-Galar can set up Future Sight with the latter also being able to set up Future Sight, which will help Urshifu break through the likes of Toxapex, Arghonaut, and Buzzwole. Urshifu's(added apostrophe) weakness to Grass- and Electric-type attacks from the likes of Zeraora, Kartana, and Tapu Koko make pairing it up with resists such as Landorus-T, Astrolotl, Corviknight, and Equilibra pivotal, as they are able to switch into Supereffective super effective attacks directed towards Urshifu.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physically Defensive Walls**: The likes of Toxapex, Arghonaut, Dragonite, and Tomohawk are able to switch into Urshifu's attacks with relative ease, scouting it and being able to bring out an more suitable answer. Meanwhile the likes of Zapdos, Ferrothorn, Buzzwole, and Landorus-T are able to punish Urshifu with through contact punishing Abilities and Items, such as Static, and Rocky Helmet. If you want to, you could mention either Mollux or Cyclohm in this section just to have a higher CAP presence, but it is by no means required, so up to you if you feel like it's worth.

**Faster Pokemon and Priority**: Faster Pokemon such as Zeraora, Tornadus-T, Dragapult, and Tapu Koko are able to revenge kill Urshifu due to them being faster than it and having super effective coverage, forcing it out. And Priority users such as Rillaboom and Bisharp are also able to finish off Urshifu, if it’s (Added Apostrophe) weakend weakened.

There is other stuff you could mention, specifically Jumbao. Jumbao is so good at checking Urshifu that I think it deserves its own section here.

just changed that thunder punch sentence cus a) slowbro doesnt get 2hkod and can just switch out for regen and b) bypassing checks felt like more relevant justification for running the move than just hitting certain pokemon super effectively

Urshifu appreciates being paired up with the likes of Weavile, Dragapult, and Kartana, as they are able to clean through opposing teams after it has broken holes in them weakened down walls like Toxapex and Ferrothorn, as well as appreciating being brought in for free via U-turn. Slowking and Slowking-Galan are able to set up Future Sight, which will help Urshifu break through the likes of Toxapex, Arghonaut, and Buzzwole. this last sentence was unclear to me because it felt like you were saying that zera/kart/koko could all use both grass+electric attacks and that lando/astro/corv/libra all resist both grass+electric, so I restructured some of the information for greater clarity. I also added in the part about psychic-types because fairy-types now have a brief mention earlier in the paragraph, so it didn't make sense to only talk about them and nothing else as they had already sorta been covered

add in protective pads set to avoid stuff like ferro barbs/helmet mons/zap static, and choice scarf to be a fast revenge killer and good against ho (can revenge kill a barely weakened cawm), but note that both sacrifice a ton of power so they aint usually worth running

Checks and Counters

**Physically Defensive Walls**: The likes of Toxapex, Arghonaut, Dragonite, and Mollux are able to switch into Urshifu's attacks with relative ease, scouting it and being able to bring out an more suitable answer. Meanwhile the likes of Zapdos, Ferrothorn, Buzzwole, and Tomohawk are able to punish Urshifu with through contact punishing Abilities and Items, such as Static, and Rocky Helmet.
there's a lot going on here; I think you can separate this out into "Bulky Water-types" with pex/fini/argh/slowbro, "Physically Bulky Pokemon" with dnite/buzzwole/tomohawk, and "Grass-types" with tangrowth/amoonguss/rilla/kart/jumbao, although make sure to note stuff like argh and ferro not wanting to switch in on CC. also zap isn't super worth mentioning cause surging strikes does mega damage, and mollux isn't worth mentioning cus it's bad

**Faster Pokemon and Priority**: Faster Pokemon such as Zeraora, Tornadus-T, Dragapult, and Tapu Koko are able to revenge kill Urshifu due to them being faster than it and having super effective coverage, forcing it out. And priority users such as Rillaboom and Bisharp are able to finish off Urshifu, if its weakend.

**Jumbao**: Due to its typing, Jumbao is able to switch into, and subsequently force out Urshifu-RS.
getting moved to grass-types

Protective Pads can be used to avoid common contact punishing Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Tomohawk, Zapdos, and Rocky Helmet Tomohawk, Skarmory, and Buzzwole. Volcarona, and these sets can also run Taunt to deny the likes of Arghonaut, Corviknight, and Dragonite recovery. im ngl that set sounds fire but i've never actually seen taunt be used before so i'm skeptical A Choice Scarf variant can also be run as it turns Urshifu into a fast revenge killer and tool against HO teams, being able to easily revenge kill the likes of Cawmodore, Arctozolt, and Aurumoth Weavile. However, the power loss of not running Choice Band will make Urshifu unable to break through the likes of Tapu Fini, Arghonaut, and Buzzwole.

**Bulky Water-types**: Toxapex, Tapu Fini, and Slowbro, can safely switch into both of Urshifu's STABs and force it to switch out; however, Tapu Fini gets worn down relatively quickly if Urshifu is running Thunder Punch. and Arghonaut resists Urshifu's Surging Strikes and narrowly avoids the 2HKO from Thunder Punch, and all live any attack it goes for, allowing them to scout it and switch into a more appropriate answer. However, they do not appreciate switching into multiple Thunder Punches, especially Tapu Fini who gets worn down relatively quickly, and Arghonaut who doesn't but cannot safely switch into Close Combat. didn't really add any new information here, just restructuring what you had; it's mostly subjective changes but I think this version reads more clearly

**Grass-types**: Bulky Grass-types such as Tangrowth, Amoonguss, and Ferrothorn are able to switch into Urshifu's Water-type attacks, albeit the latter is risky as it takes a lot of damage from it is OHKO'd by Close Combat.
