At this point, this generation’s power creep is beyond salvagable. A hard reset/dexit is necessary for Gen 10, or else we’ll be seeing Garchomp in NU.
Remove the paradoxes, remove Ghold, remove Gambit, remove Ogerpon, or fuck it, remove half the entire goddamn Pokedex. When multiple Pokemon that have been great in UU suddenly drop to fucking NU cause they can’t cut it even in RU anymore in one generation, that is a problem.
TL;DR: Fuck Power Creep. Stop making more obscenely optimized Pokemon like Kingambit please.

RU was very HO oriented in the first half of the month and a ton of viable mons just couldn't make the cut, then after some bans (Comfey and Iron Jugulis mostly), BO started to get better but it wasn't enough. Stuff like Gyarados, Mienshao and Mew dropping to NU is more representative of RU having too much power vs those mons not being good, if that makes sense.
I mean... it is gamefreak we're talking about here. I agree it's crazy, but perhaps we just need to change the way tiering works? (or at least more tiers? idk) It's not like gamefreak is going to stop.
Well, from an RU perspective: Gapdos, Hippo, Kleavor, Cobalion, Thundy-T, Gengar, Zarude, Hoopa-U. This is not some low power level stuff we're using for the lulz or something. Swampert, etc was decent, but it can't keep up.
It's all the delayed kick back from the Indigo Disk. Happened to UU two months ago, happened to RU last month, it'll be PU's turn in April!
Walking Wake fell to DUU and no one noticed, very sad!
