USM Ubers Analysis Index

Doing Alolan Muk because I can't go to sleep tonight but I really hope someone else will do Gothorita and Mega Metagross - we're almost there

With the recent VR update, Ribombee and Mega Lopunny are now due analyses. Due to their specialist nature it would be ideal if the user that takes either is well versed in their niches.

Once the forum is cleared of analyses in GP meaning we have something on site for every mon in Ubers, the QC will be re-evaluating our on-site analyses for potential revamps and additions in full.

Groudon isn't on the reservation list (it has one on-site at the moment).

Our reservation list is currently empty but when we (the QC team) do a round up of the mons that need further revamps we will post a list of them.

How About Tapu Koko -3-
It would nice to have a regular Groudon set and to give Groudon some recognition though, even though I already may have gave it a lot in the past week.

Can an analysis be posted for SubCoilGlare Zygarde-C? (I'm willing to do a write-up if need be.)
Information about Coil is already mentioned in the existing dex analysis and the possibility of using coil is already mentioned in various sets. The set holds some viability but we have decided to just integrate the idea about the set instead of making a dedicated write-up about it.

For those not aware, I have internally discussed with Nayrz some time ago and there won't be any write-ups available until the subforum is empty (or almost empty). I have been bringing up possible sets / Pokemon that can see updates and Nayrz will decide which ones will need write-ups at his discretion.

QC team has internally evaluated the most urgent analyses that need updates, and for now, Cynara is going to do a full revamp for Arceus-Fairy, and I am doing the same for Arceus-Ground.

Lotus Sorry to keep pestering you ;) Would like to point out some more things that can be improved with the Scizor analysis. First of all, the standard spread should be 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD to minimize rocks damage. I also think this part is misleading:
  • Alternatively, 108 Attack EVs and a Brave nature can be used to ensure that Bullet Punch 2HKOes standard Geomancy Xerneas and Mega Gengar unboosted while 2HKOing defensive Xerneas, 2HKOing +1 Z-Geomancy Xerneas most of the time, and OHKOing Mega Gengar after a Swords Dance boost.
  • An EV spread of 252 HP / 52 Atk / 204 SpD with a Sassy nature allows Scizor to achieve the above benchmarks but all after Stealth Rock damage.
  • An EV spread of 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD with a Brave nature also allows Scizor to achieve those benchmarks after Stealth Rock damage. This spread sacrifices some bulk for the ability to retain the 2HKO on standard Geomancy Xerneas with Bullet Punch without Stealth Rock.
  • 108+ Atk Technician Scizor-Mega Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 168 Def Xerneas: 194-230 (49.3 - 58.5%) -- 98% chance to 2HKO
  • 52 Atk Technician Scizor-Mega Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 168 Def Xerneas: 168-200 (42.7 - 50.8%) -- 96.9% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
I think we instead want
  • Alternatively, an EV spread of 248 HP / 132 Atk / 128 SpD and a Brave nature can be used to ensure that Bullet Punch 2HKOes standard Geomancy Xerneas and Mega Gengar unboosted while 2HKOing defensive Xerneas, 2HKOing +1 Z-Geomancy Xerneas most of the time, and OHKOing Mega Gengar after a Swords Dance boost, while ensuring that Scizor survives +2 Focus Blast from Xerneas after Stealth Rock damage.
  • An EV spread of 248 HP / 84 Atk / 176 SpD with a Sassy nature allows Scizor to achieve the above benchmarks but all after Stealth Rock damage.
(this just repeats the above para)
  • 132+ Atk Technician Scizor-Mega Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 168 Def Xerneas: 198-234 (50.3 - 59.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • +2 252+ SpA Xerneas Focus Blast vs. 248 HP / 128 SpD Scizor-Mega: 255-300 (74.3 - 87.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
  • 84 Atk Technician Scizor-Mega Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 168 Def Xerneas: 174-206 (44.2 - 52.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Confirmed that 132+ Mega Scizor is required to get 100% 2HKO on standard Geo Xern without SR. No attack investment is sufficient to 2HKO Defensive Xern so I don't know what that's even mentioned. 152+ is required to 2HKO Z Geo if you're 2+ vs. 1+, which is hardly relevant. I'll staff edit this later if nobody has anything else to say.

We've decided to put further revamp review on hold until the UPL is concluded, as most revamped information will mainly come from its development.

I'd like to thank everyone who was involved in our C&C process and got our dex fully sorted out for the USM metagame. I'd also like to add a shoutout to Serial EKiller who has decided to step down from the QC team for his hard work to this point.

See you after UPL!

We're re-opening the thread with some new stuff that needs created. QC have also done a sweep of the S to A level mons in the meta and will be editing some smaller things on site over reworking them, which I'll have in hide tags of this post as a sort of "patch notes". B to D mons will also see attention afterwards. Also, Mysterious M has joined us in our times of manpower shortage. Luckily everything only needs maintaining! Here are the things we're in need of creating:
