[SET COMMENTS]
Gliscor is an elite defensive Pokemon; once its Toxic Orb activates, its longevity through Poison Heal, an immunity to subsequent status effects, resilience to entry hazards, and an excellent defensive typing render it extremely difficult to take down as Gliscor itself threatens foes with massive chip damage from its entry hazards alongside item removal and Toxic damage. Once its Toxic Orb activates, it can repeatedly come in on Knock Off from the likes of Tinkaton and opposing Gliscor aimed at its item-reliant teammates. Gliscor can set multiple layers of Spikes throughout a game, but it can also serve as a good Stealth Rock setter for offensive teams that aren't reliant on stacking multiple entry hazards to force progress. Knock Off most notably removes Heavy-Duty Boots from a litany of Pokemon that include the likes of Alomomola, Kyurem, and Ting-Lu to render them vulnerable to Gliscor's entry hazards. Earthquake boasts solid coverage by preventing Iron Treads and Cinderace from removing Gliscor's entry hazards, flipping an otherwise losing matchup against Galarian Weezing, letting Gliscor check Raging Bolt and Iron Moth, preventing Kingambit and Gholdengo from using Gliscor as setup fodder, and even pressuring Toxic-immune foes like Galarian Slowking and Clodsire. These moves have good synergy together, as Knock Off can pop Air Balloon from an opposing Tinkaton, Gholdengo, Kingambit, or Pecharunt to pressure them with Earthquake thereafter. Toxic covers a huge slew of matchups, as it racks up enormous amounts of passive damage against Zamazenta lacking Substitute or Rest, walls like Ting-Lu and Alomomola, entry hazard removal like Great Tusk, and threats like Kyurem and Ogerpon-W attempting to switch in. U-turn allows Gliscor to serve as a bulky pivot, allowing it to gain momentum against predicted switches into opposing Gliscor, defensive Gholdengo, and Clefable; this option excels on bulky offense teams, since Gliscor can pivot powerful wallbreakers in against these defensive answers. Protect is a versatile tool on Gliscor by allowing it to safely activate its Toxic Orb, gain free passive healing from Poison Heal thereafter, rack up free Toxic damage, and even scout options from Choice item users like Kyurem, Gholdengo, and Dragapult. Though Gliscor's typing is extremely good defensively, Tera Water flips its Ice and Water weaknesses against foes like Weavile, Ice Spinner Dragonite, and Walking Wake, and Tera Fairy assists it against Dark-type attacks like Kingambit's Sucker Punch and Dragon-type attacks like Dragapult's and Raging Bolt's Draco Meteor. Tera Dragon is a solid Water-resistant option to resist Ogerpon-W's STAB moves, and Tera Ghost is worth considering to allow Gliscor to spinblock against opposing Great Tusk and Iron Treads while serving as an answer to Iron Defense+Body Press Zamazenta and Tera Normal Dragonite. Tera Dark is yet another strong alternative, as it provides Gliscor with all of an immunity to Future Sight, a resistance to Dragapult's Hex, and STAB on Knock Off. A specially defensive spread with a Careful nature lets Gliscor handle Iron Valiant, Iron Moth, and Raging Bolt quite effectively while effectively walling Moltres, Clefable, and Pecharunt, with 36 Defense EVs allowing Gliscor to survive Ogerpon-W's Ivy Cudgel from full HP. If it is being used as a team's dedicated Raging Bolt answer, Gliscor can opt to run a spread of 244 HP / 168 SpD / 96 Speed alongside Toxic or Earthquake to outspeed Raging Bolt and pressure it. Alternatively, a physically defensive spread with an Impish nature serves Gliscor better against Cinderace, Great Tusk, Kingambit, and Zamazenta.

Gliscor works best on bulky balance and stall teams. Corviknight is an exceptional partner for Gliscor; it can check physical attackers like Weavile and most Dragonite sets with an Iron Defense set. On stall teams, Blissey is a mandatory teammate, as it can stomach extremely powerful special attacks from Kyurem, Raging Bolt, Darkrai, and Iron Moth and greatly benefits from Gliscor's Toxic to wear the former three down even more quickly. Blissey and Ting-Lu can also opt to run Stealth Rock, making it extremely easy for Gliscor to run Spikes. Both Blissey and Ting-Lu also benefit greatly from Gliscor's ability to stomach Fighting-type attacks from Zamazenta and Iron Valiant, and their special bulk allows Gliscor to run a physically defensive spread to better check Kingambit. Galarian Weezing is another phenomenal partner for Gliscor; Neutralizing Gas turns Gliscor's stalemate matchups against Magic Guard Clefable poisoned by Toxic and opposing Gliscor into favorable ones with a single well-timed switch into Galarian Weezing. Galarian Weezing also cripples physical attackers like Ogerpon-W and Weavile with Will-O-Wisp and can even status the likes of Garganacl and Gholdengo in a pinch, while Gliscor can handle Ground-types like Landorus-T and Iron Treads that can severely threaten Galarian Weezing. Because opposing Galarian Weezing can also be problematic for Gliscor, it appreciates teammates like Moltres and Gholdengo that can switch into Galarian Weezing. Gliscor is threatened by physical boosters like Dragonite, Kingambit, Swords Dance Weavile, and Swords Dance Gliscor; Dondozo does an excellent job at keeping these attackers at bay thanks to Unaware and Curse. Toxapex is another excellent teammate for Gliscor; it helps check Walking Wake and can run Toxic Spikes or Toxic, letting Gliscor more easily forego Toxic itself. Gliscor's support is also invaluable for offensive staples on balance teams like Weavile, Darkrai, Lokix, and Walking Wake; all of these attackers benefit from Gliscor's entry hazards, especially alongside Gliscor's or even their own Knock Off support; if Gliscor parters with Pokemon that can use Knock Off themselves, then it can drop the move more freely. On more offensively-leaning teams, Gliscor's reliability as an entry hazard setter and Knock Off user, as well as its pivoting capabilities with U-turn, can support late-game sweeps for Zamazenta and Dragon Dance Dragonite, which appreciate the long-term progress Gliscor can force against the likes of Moltres, Zapdos, and some Gholdengo variants. In return, Dragonite can effectively check Ogerpon-W for Gliscor, while Zamazenta can outspeed and threaten the likes of Ogerpon-W, Kyurem, Darkrai, and Weavile. Gliscor is greatly threatened by extremely powerful special attackers like Kyurem and Walking Wake, so bulky pivots like Galarian Slowking and Assault Vest Alomomola are solid teammates on balance teams that can check these and safely pivot Gliscor in. Galarian Slowking in particular forces even more chip damage onto the opposing team with Future Sight and Toxic. Gholdengo can also serve as an effective Kyurem check in a pinch. Dondozo and Curse Garganacl completely wall Gliscor and use it as setup fodder, so teammates that can pressure it, such as Ogerpon-W, Raging Bolt, and Kyurem, make for strong teammates on balance teams. Pecharunt is also an excellent teammate, especially for Gliscor sets that forego Toxic, that can check physical attackers like Ogerpon-W and Dragon Dance Dragonite while simultaneously pressuring Dondozo. In return, Gliscor puts a lot of pressure on Ting-Lu, which Pecharunt appreciates.

Ready for QC!

(This was an absolute nightmare to write; with all these slashed options that accomplish VERY different goals, two VERY deliberate EV spreads, multiple viable Tera types even beyond what the dex has listed, and Gliscor itself being a very splashable mon that also happens to be one of its own best answers I feel like this entire thesis doesn't even scratch the surface LMAO)

Gliscor is an elite defensive Pokemon; once its Toxic Orb activates its tremendous amounts of passive healing through Poison Heal this took me a few seconds to understand, could be rephrased to something like "chip healing through poison heal allows gliscor to x, y, z" or something similar, immunity to future status effects, and ability to absorb Knock Off for its teammates render it extremely difficult to take down as Gliscor itself threatens opponents with considerable chip damage from its entry hazards alongside a combination of its own attacks, item removal, and Toxic damage. Gliscor is arguably the tier's best Spikes user can future proof this with "Gliscor is a great Spikes user", especially because ting lu is usually seen as better even know, as it can set multiple layers of Spikes multiple times throughout a game even against the likes of Iron Treads lacking Ice Spinner and Cinderace Great Tusk can be added, it fears actually hard swapping into unrevealed Gliscor or revealed Toxic Gliscor and spinblockers are prepared for Great Tusk as the most common spinner. After Terastallizing, even Great Tusk and Iron Treads with Ice Spinner cannot remove Gliscor's entry hazards in the long term, while Gliscor immediately threatens them in return with Toxic and Earthquake, respectively Worth mentioning that tera Gliscor makes it vulnerable to spikes which can actually make it easier to deny it oppurtunities to spike. For these reasons, Gliscor can also serve as a good Stealth Rock setter for teams that lack an alternative, though Gliscor is far better sentence doesn't make sense, assuming this means gliscor is a better spikes user? its also worth saying that with Ting-lu, Samurott, or Spikes Ogerpon you don't need Spikes on Gliscor, although mention Spikes on Gliscor are nice with Lu so you can get all layers up and have more opportunities to click whirlwinds or ruinations with Lu because jt only has to get up one layer. Earthquake boasts solid coverage, threatening Iron Treads and Cinderace with considerable damage while hitting the likes of Gholdengo and Tinkaton lacking Air Balloon, Iron Treads, Galarian Weezing, Kingambit, and Iron Crown for good, immediate damage Raging Bolt is very important here. Knock Off's item removal has many applications, although it most notably removes Heavy-Duty Boots from a litany of Pokemon that includes the likes of Dragonite, Moltres, Zapdos, Cinderace, Galarian Slowking, Dondozo, and Blissey Blissey, Cinderace, and Galarian Slowking should pretty much never be swapping into Gliscor unless the situation is dire or its a sac, Cinderace and Galarian Slowking lose to EQ anyways, or Toxic if Slowking teras. Alomomola, Corviknight, or other Gliscor are also usually going to be the switchin to Gliscor on Dondozo teams. to render them vulnerable to the entry hazards Gliscor itself so easily sets. These moves tend to have impeccable synergy together, but Gliscor can just as easily forego one of these options in favor of a different utility option. Toxic Toxic is the first slash on the set, so it shouldn't be described as something you forgo another option for. racks up enormous amounts of passive damage against Zamazenta and opposing Ground-types like Ting-Lu, most Landorus-T, and Great Tusk; however, this renders it completely helpless against Air Balloon Kingambit and Gholdengo, which can use it as setup fodder, and Taunt variants of Landorus-T completely shut it down anyway toxic can be paired with knock which then pops the balloons and allows chip from spikes for the steels + hits ghold super effectively while lando loses its helmet and can't directly swap into gliscor. U-turn allows Gliscor to serve as a bulky pivot in addition to its existing roles, allowing it to gain momentum against predicted switches into opposing Gliscor, defensive Gholdengo, Clefable, or Terastallized Garganacl seeking to exploit Gliscor's limited options against them. Protect is a versatile tool on Gliscor by allowing it to safely activate its Toxic Orb, gain free passive healing from Poison Heal thereafter, or even scout options from Choice item users like Kyurem, Gholdengo, and Dragapult once their Choice items have been properly scouted. Protect should be described in the intro or right after imo because of how important it is to gliscor functioning and being the only mandatory move, would suggest a set change to protect first with that to fit the analysis. Though Gliscor's typing is extremely good defensively, Terastallization allows Gliscor to shed its exploitable Ice and Water weaknesses in favor of a universally strong defensive typing, with Tera Water allowing Gliscor to stomach Ice-type attacks from Weavile and Water-type attacks from Walking Wake and Tera Fairy assisting it against Dark-types like Hisuian Samurott and Dragon-types like Dragapult and Raging Bolt. Tera Dragon is a solid option to resist Ogerpon-W's STAB moves and either pivot out with U-turn or cripple it with Toxic, and Tera Ghost is worth considering as an answer to Iron Defense+Body Press Zamazenta and Tera Normal Dragonite. 244 HP EVs maximize Gliscor's Poison Heal recovery and should be run on any Gliscor variant, but it can invest heavily into either defensive stat to better check those respective attackers. A specially defensive spread with a Careful nature can handle Iron Valiant, Iron Moth, and Raging Bolt quite effectively, with 36 Defense EVs allowing Gliscor to survive Ogerpon-W's Ivy Cudgel from full HP. Alternatively, a physically defensive spread with an Impish nature serves Gliscor better against Cinderace, Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Zamazenta good mu vs ace and lando anyways without spdef, mention being able to take on Kingambit better and specifically Ice Fang Zamazenta., with 16 Special Defense EVs allowing it to survive Choice Specs Enamorus's Moonblast from full HP.

Gliscor functions well on any archetype outside of Hyper Offense, although it tends to work best on stall and bulky balance teams that benefit from its ability to force gradual, long-term progress with passive damage. Corviknight is an exceptional partner for Gliscor; its slow U-turn can pivot Gliscor and its teammates in safely, it can severely threaten physical attackers like Weavile and Dragonite lacking Encore with an Iron Defense+Body Press set, and it can aggressively switch in against opposing Gliscor and drain its PP with Pressure while removing its entry hazards with Defog mention how utility gliscor is fodder for sd gliscor in particular and having corviknight to slowturn into a breaker is huge for limiting sd gliscor. On stall teams, Blissey is a mandatory teammate, as it can stomach extremely powerful special attacks from Kyurem, Raging Bolt lacking Taunt this clarification isnt really needed imo because kyurem and pult have physical sets that beat blissey harder than taunt bolt does that are also more common, or specify special variants of pult and kyu, Dragapult, and Iron Moth that can overwhelm Gliscor and greatly benefits from Gliscor's Toxic to wear the former three down even more quickly. Blissey can also opt to run Stealth Rock, making it extremely easy for Gliscor to run Spikes with how many opportunities they both find to set their respective entry hazards. Ting-Lu fills a similar niche to Blissey in this regard, both as a blanket check to most special attackers and as a fellow entry hazard setter to cover the entry hazard Gliscor cannot, although it trades a good matchup against many Kyurem variants for a better matchup against Gholdengo Mention that Ting-Lu is also a mon that can fit outside of stall to clarify any potential confusion because blissey was only mentioned for stall teams. Both Blissey and Ting-Lu also benefit greatly from Gliscor's ability to stomach Fighting-type attacks from Zamazenta and Iron Valiant. Galarian Weezing is another phenomenal partner for Gliscor courtesy of its ability to cripple physical attackers with Will-O-Wisp mention mons like ogerpon and weavile that weezing can answer, even if ogerpon is kinda shaky because of ivy cudgel crits and relying on pain split. and even status the likes of Garganacl and Gholdengo in a pinch thanks to Neutralizing Gas these two being burned is nice but doesn't really matter that much for gliscor, while Gliscor can handle Ground-types like Earth Power Landorus-T and Iron Treads that can severely threaten Galarian Weezing. Neutralizing Gas also turns Gliscor's awkward matchups against Magic Guard Clefable poisoned by Toxic and opposing Gliscor into terrifying guessing games for the opponent, as after multiple turns a well-timed switch into Galarian Weezing against these Badly Poisoned opponents can result in irreparable damage, if not an outright KO with just the slightest amount of chip damage, from the status effect. Gliscor is more free to tera with defog support too. You can also move weezing and Corviknight together to talk about both of them being defoggers at once. Gliscor can be overwhelmed by physical boosters like Dragonite, Kingambit, Swords Dance Weavile, and Swords Dance Gliscor; though it doesn't appreciate having its held item removed by Weavile's or Gliscor's Knock Off, Dondozo other physical checks like zamazenta, alomomola, great tusk can be explained in the same section as Dondozo, dondozo is also usually not the answer to anything with knock off on good teams because it doesn't have good enough healing to withstand big attacks + hazards at once. otherwise does an excellent job at keeping these attackers at bay thanks to Unaware and Curse. Toxapex is another excellent teammate for Gliscor; it can run Toxic instead of Gliscor, letting Gliscor more easily run both Earthquake and Knock Off to threaten Air Balloon Steel-types like Kingambit and offensive Gholdengo with Knock Off into repeated Earthquakes av pex can also be ran alongside gliscor and cant use toxic and this doesn't really go into synergy very much like walling things that threaten the other or gliscor's spikes / rocks eating into the many things that wall toxapex and deny it making any progress of its own. On more offensively-leaning teams, Gliscor's reliability as an entry hazard setter and Knock Off user can support late-game sweeps for IronPress Zamazenta good for all zamazenta and Dragon Dance Dragonite, which appreciate the long-term progress Gliscor can force against the likes of Moltres, Zapdos, some Gholdengo variants, Iron Valiant, and Pecharunt lacking Nasty Plot. Roar variants of Zamazenta can even further capitalize on Gliscor's entry hazards by forcing even more chip damage against Defensive Gholdengo gholdengo is immune to roar and loses to spikes + crunch and Pecharunt after Gliscor has removed their Heavy-Duty Boots with Knock Off, as a Defense drop from Crunch can spell disaster for either

Gliscor is an elite defensive Pokemon; once its Toxic Orb activates its tremendous amounts of passive healing longevity through Poison Heal, immunity to future subsequent status effects, and ability to absorb Knock Off for its teammates (gliscor absorbing knock for its teammates have nothing to do with how difficult it is to take gliscor down. perhaps in a different (or next) sentence, you can talk about how it not reliant on its item afterwards make it a good switchin to knock off or common knock off users for teammates that rely on their item a lot?) render it extremely difficult to take down (mention its immunity to spikes without having a rocks weakness, another reason it's also hard to chip down) as Gliscor itself threatens opponents with considerable chip damage from its entry hazards alongside a combination of its own attacks, item removal, and Toxic damage. Gliscor is arguably the tier's best Spikes user, as it can set multiple layers of Spikes multiple times throughout a game, (ac) especially even against the likes of Iron Treads lacking Ice Spinner and Cinderace. After Terastallizing, even Great Tusk and Iron Treads with Ice Spinner cannot remove Gliscor's entry hazards in the long term, (rc) while Gliscor immediately threatens them in return with Toxic and Earthquake, respectively. For these reasons, Gliscor can also serve as a good Stealth Rock setter for teams that lack an alternative (mention how rocks on it is an option if you're not running it on a hazard stack balance and so it's the sole hazard setter), though Gliscor is far better as a Spikes user. Earthquake boasts solid coverage, threatening Iron Treads and Cinderace with considerable damage while hitting the likes of Gholdengo and Tinkaton lacking Air Balloon, Iron Treads, Galarian Weezing, Kingambit, and Iron Crown for good, immediate damage. (while these examples are great i'd group them together & cover why hitting them is important. for instance, immediately hitting treads and ace is good cause they otherwise can remove your hazards, or hitting gweezing which would otherwise 1v1 you, or hitting glowking clod and the steels you talk about cause they're otherwise immune to your toxic. something you didnt mention yet is bolt and moth, which are some mons you tend to check) Knock Off's item removal has many applications, although it most notably removes Heavy-Duty Boots from a litany of Pokemon that includes the likes of Dragonite, Moltres, Zapdos, Cinderace, Galarian Slowking, Dondozo, and Blissey (cut some examples down) to render them vulnerable to the entry hazards Gliscor itself so easily sets. (also a way to pop balloon from mons like pecha dengo tink if you're running eq) These moves tend to have impeccable synergy together, but Gliscor can just as easily forego one of these options in favor of a different utility option. (might need to reword with the change of move order) Toxic racks up enormous amounts of passive damage against Zamazenta and opposing Ground-types like Ting-Lu, most Landorus-T, and Great Tusk; however, this renders it completely helpless against Air Balloon Kingambit and Gholdengo, which can use it as setup fodder, and Taunt variants of Landorus-T completely shut it down anyway. (i would sell toxic more cause it's another one of gliscors biggest tool and this sentence doesnt give it enough justice. outlasts the tier's hazard removers, other hazard setters, other walls [like mola], mons that would otherwise switch into, threaten, or use you as fodder [waterpon, kyurem, etc], etc, esp in combination with knock to force progress long-term) U-turn allows Gliscor to serve as a bulky pivot in addition to its existing roles, allowing it to gain momentum against predicted switches into opposing Gliscor, defensive Gholdengo, Clefable, or Terastallized Garganacl (this mon hates knock so i'd just remove it to keep the list simple, but if you want another mon then something like corv works) seeking to exploit Gliscor's limited options against them. (mention how this variant is preferred on bulky offense teams where you have plenty of breakers you want to bring in) Protect is a versatile tool on Gliscor by allowing it to safely activate its Toxic Orb, gain free passive healing from Poison Heal thereafter, (+ racks up toxic damage) or and even scout options from Choice item users like Kyurem, Gholdengo, and Dragapult once their Choice items have been properly scouted. Though Gliscor's typing is extremely good defensively, Terastallization allows Gliscor to shed its exploitable Ice and Water weaknesses in favor of a universally strong defensive typing, (reword this cause if you seek to flip the water and ice weakeness then tera water is far superior than tera fairy) with Tera Water allowing Gliscor to stomach Ice-type attacks from Weavile (any other mons that tend to use ice coverage for gliscor? since it's one of the most common coverage people run mainly for it) and Water-type attacks from Walking Wake and Tera Fairy assisting it against Dark-types like Hisuian Samurott and Dragon-types like Dragapult and Raging Bolt. Tera Dragon is a solid option to resist Ogerpon-W's STAB while still providing a Water resistance against [examples] moves and either pivot out with U-turn or cripple it with Toxic, and Tera Ghost is worth considering as (main reason is for that spinblocking) an answer to Iron Defense+Body Press Zamazenta and Tera Normal Dragonite. 244 HP EVs maximize Gliscor's Poison Heal recovery and should be run on any Gliscor variant, but it can invest heavily into either defensive stat to better check those respective attackers. (i'd add tera dark as an option too. psychic noise immunity + hex resist + knock boost as a bonus) A specially defensive spread with a Careful nature can handle Iron Valiant, Iron Moth, and Raging Bolt quite effectively, (mention how it also helps you sit on common walls like zapdos molt clef and pecha more comfortably too) with 36 Defense EVs allowing Gliscor to survive Ogerpon-W's Ivy Cudgel from full HP. (mention how spdef variants can run the 244 HP / 168 SpD / 96 Spe spread w EQ and/or toxic to outspeed and check bolt if it's the team's main answer to it) Alternatively, a physically defensive spread with an Impish nature serves Gliscor better against Cinderace, Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Zamazenta, with 16 Special Defense EVs allowing it to survive Choice Specs Enamorus's Moonblast from full HP. (not wrong nor is it your fault but this benchmark is kinda whatever now that i think we can just max the def instead [can discuss w qc if necessary]. +1 enam is either specs [which often runs modest, while the old spread was calced for timid] or CM [likely has sub/taunt that would use you as fodder anyways]. the 16 spdef was originally also for LO deoxys-s psycho boost too and that mon is not the most relevant target now and very often carries ice beam anyways)

Gliscor functions well on any archetype outside of Hyper Offense, although it tends to work best on stall and bulky balance (flip this order) teams that benefit from its ability to force gradual, long-term progress with passive damage. Corviknight is an exceptional partner for Gliscor; its slow U-turn can pivot Gliscor and its teammates in safely, it can severely threaten check physical attackers like (add sd gliscor here, big target and would use you as fodder otherwise) Weavile and most Dragonite sets lacking Encore (with pressure you drain encore pretty quickly that you're pretty free to just go to +6 and come out on top of the interaction, so the only dangerous one is if they're paired with Fire Punch or Tera Blast Ghost that we can prob reword the dnite mention) with an Iron Defense+Body Press set, (id+bb is also real and it helps against tera ghost mons, esp the weav and dnite) and it can aggressively switch in against opposing Gliscor and drain its PP with Pressure while removing its entry hazards with Defog. (glisc isnt too worried of opposing utility gliscor cause it's just a stalemate, and you're not too worried about hazards that the defog synergy isnt too necessary to be mentioned here) On stall teams, Blissey is a mandatory teammate, as it can stomach extremely powerful special attacks from Kyurem, Raging Bolt lacking Taunt, Dragapult, and Iron Moth that can overwhelm Gliscor and greatly benefits from Gliscor's Toxic to wear the former three down even more quickly. Blissey can also opt to run Stealth Rock, making it extremely easy for Gliscor to run Spikes with how many opportunities they both find to set their respective entry hazards. (this is all great but move blissey mention to the back cause gliscor in balance is miles ahead and more prominent than gliscor in stall, so the order should reflect that. make sure to reword the subsequent sentences to reflect this as well) Ting-Lu fills a similar niche to Blissey in this regard, both as a blanket check to most special attackers and as a fellow entry hazard setter to cover the entry hazard Gliscor cannot. Ting-Lu trades a good matchup against many Kyurem variants for a better matchup against Psyshock Gholdengo, (cause cm bliss is generally uhh solid enough) and functions far better than Blissey on archetypes that aren't stall teams. Both Blissey and Ting-Lu also benefit greatly from Gliscor's ability to stomach Fighting-type attacks from Zamazenta and Iron Valiant. (mention how tinglu/blissey giving you a proper bolt and moth check gives you more freedom to forgo EQ for toxic + knock) Galarian Weezing is another phenomenal partner for Gliscor courtesy of its ability to cripple physical attackers with Will-O-Wisp and even status the likes of Garganacl and Gholdengo in a pinch thanks to Neutralizing Gas, while Gliscor can handle Ground-types like Earth Power Landorus-T and Iron Treads that can severely threaten Galarian Weezing. Neutralizing Gas also turns Gliscor's awkward matchups against Magic Guard Clefable poisoned by Toxic and opposing Gliscor (move this as the first reason on why you want to run gweez with gliscor) into terrifying guessing games for the opponent, as after multiple turns a well-timed switch into Galarian Weezing against these Badly Poisoned opponents can result in irreparable damage, if not an outright KO with just the slightest amount of chip damage, from the status effect. Gliscor can be overwhelmed by physical boosters like Dragonite, Kingambit, Swords Dance Weavile, and Swords Dance Gliscor; (technically you're never staying in on these so you're never getting overwhelmed, either add/change the verb to 'threaten' or change the examples) though it doesn't appreciate having its held item removed by Weavile's or Gliscor's Knock Off, Dondozo otherwise does an excellent job at keeping these attackers at bay thanks to Unaware and Curse. Toxapex is another excellent teammate for Gliscor; it can run Toxic Spikes or Toxic instead of Gliscor, letting Gliscor more easily run both Earthquake and Knock Off to threaten Air Balloon Steel-types like Kingambit and offensive Gholdengo with Knock Off into repeated Earthquakes. (mention how you helps absorb knock for them in return, cause the aforementioned bliss tinglu gweez etc hates it otherwise) On more offensively-leaning teams, Gliscor's reliability as an entry hazard setter and Knock Off (add pivot with uturn) user can support late-game sweeps for IronPress Zamazenta and Dragon Dance Dragonite, which appreciate the long-term progress Gliscor can force against the likes of Moltres, Zapdos, some Gholdengo variants, Iron Valiant, and Pecharunt lacking Nasty Plot. Roar variants of Zamazenta can even further capitalize on Gliscor's entry hazards by forcing even more chip damage against the opposition. (mention how dnite helps check waterpon for gliscor) Defensive Gholdengo and Pecharunt after Gliscor has removed their Heavy-Duty Boots with Knock Off, as a Defense drop from Crunch can spell disaster for either after enough entry hazard chip damage.

some more stuff to add
+ I'd add mons that can switch into gweez for gliscor, like dengo and moltres
+ most of the analyses cover defensive synergy--while it's all great, i'd also add offensive teammates that are usually found on balance since they're similarly valuable. Some names include weavile darkrai lokix waterpon and walking wake (abuse the hazards + knocks boots)

Looks like a lot but content is great so just wanted to remove some of the fluff/wordiness to give room for more relevant infos. Would like to take a look at this again before stamping to make sure it's properly implemented. Feel free to discuss in OUcord if you need any clarifications too!

My previous check wasn't implemented properly since a huge portion of the changes are still missing; i've included them in here again so please do so carefully this time. Also most of my check this time is to cut on wordiness due to the length of this analysis as is.

Gliscor is an elite defensive Pokemon; its resilience to entry hazards and once its Toxic Orb activates its longevity through Poison Heal, an immunity to subsequent status effects, and an excellent defensive typing with a Spikes immunity and Stealth Rock neutrality render it extremely difficult to take down as Gliscor itself threatens opponents with massive chip damage from its entry hazards alongside item removal and Toxic damage. Gliscor also couples as an excellent Knock Off absorber, as once its Toxic Orb activates its item slot is effectively worthless and it can repeatedly come in on Knock Offs (add examples of the knock off users) aimed at its item-reliant teammates. Gliscor is arguably the tier's best Spikes user, as it can set multiple layers of Spikes throughout a game while Gliscor immediately threatens them in return with Toxic and Earthquake, respectively. For these reasons, Gliscor but it can also serve as a good Stealth Rock setter for more offensive teams that aren't reliant on stacking multiple entry hazards to force progress. Earthquake boasts solid coverage by preventing Iron Treads and Cinderace from removing Gliscor's entry hazards, flipping an otherwise losing matchup against Galarian Weezing, letting Gliscor check Raging Bolt and Iron Moth, preventing Kingambit and Gholdengo lacking Air Balloon from using Gliscor as setup fodder, and even pressuring Toxic-immune foes like Galarian Slowking and Clodsire. Knock Off's item removal has many applications, although it most notably removes Heavy-Duty Boots from a litany of Pokemon that includes the likes of Dragonite, Moltres, Zapdos (replace some of these examples to spikes-weak mons instead cause atm you're just selling rocks on gliscor when spikes is its best set) render them vulnerable to the entry hazards Gliscor's entry hazards itself so easily sets. (flip the eq and knock sentence with each other to reflect the move order) These moves tend to have impeccable synergy together, as Knock Off can pop an opposing Tinkaton's, Gholdengo's, or Pecharunt's Air Balloon to pressure them with Earthquake thereafter and are otherwise immune to Toxic. However, Gliscor can easily forego one of these attacking options in favor of a different utility option, with Earthquake being the easier move to forego. (implied by the order of slashes) Toxic covers a huge slew of matchups, as it racks up enormous amounts of passive damage against Ogerpon-W, Zamazenta lacking Substitute or Rest, opposing entry hazard setters walls like Ting-Lu and Alomomola and Landorus-T lacking Taunt, (most are taunt that this is prob not worth it) and entry hazard removal like Great Tusk and Cinderace, and threats like Kyurem and Ogerpon-W attempting to switching into it. This effectively allows Gliscor to outlast threats that can otherwise use it as setup fodder and beat many opposing entry hazard setters and removers alike in one fell swoop. However, this renders it completely helpless against Air Balloon Kingambit and Gholdengo, which can use it as setup fodder, and Taunt variants of Landorus-T completely shut it down anyway. (you've talked about the knock + eq interaction against toxic-immune balloon targets so it's implied you will struggle against them if you run tox + eq that we can prob remove this) U-turn allows Gliscor to serve as a bulky pivot in addition to its existing roles, allowing it to gain momentum against predicted switches into opposing Gliscor, defensive Gholdengo, and Clefable; this option excels on bulky offense teams, since Gliscor can pivot powerful wallbreakers in against these defensive answers. Protect is a versatile tool on Gliscor by allowing it to safely activate its Toxic Orb, gain free passive healing from Poison Heal thereafter, rack up free Toxic damage, and even scout options from Choice item users like Kyurem, Gholdengo, and Dragapult once their Choice items have been properly scouted. Though Gliscor's typing is extremely good defensively, Terastallization allows Gliscor to shed its exploitable Ice and Water weaknesses and vulnerability to extremely powerful Draco Meteors in favor of a universally strong defensive typing, with Tera Water allowing Gliscor to stomach Ice-type attacks from Weavile and Water-type attacks from Walking Wake Tera Water flips its Ice and Water weaknesses against foes like Weavile, Walking Wake, Ice Spinner Dragonite, and Tera Fairy assisting it against Dark-types like Hisuian Samurott and Dragon-types like Dragapult and Raging Bolt. Tera Dragon is a solid Water-resistant option to resist Ogerpon-W's STAB moves and either pivot out with U-turn or cripple it with Toxic, and Tera Ghost is worth considering as (mention the spinblocking) an answer to Iron Defense+Body Press Zamazenta and Tera Normal Dragonite. (add tera dark as an option too. psychic noise immunity + hex resist + knock boost as a bonus) 244 HP EVs maximize Gliscor's Poison Heal recovery and should be run on any Gliscor variant, but it can invest heavily into either defensive stat to better check those respective attackers. A specially defensive spread with a Careful nature can handle Iron Valiant, Iron Moth, and Raging Bolt quite effectively while effectively walling Moltres, Clefable, and Pecharunt, with 36 Defense EVs allowing Gliscor to survive Ogerpon-W's Ivy Cudgel from full HP. If it is being used as a team's dedicated Raging Bolt answer, Gliscor can opt to run a spread of 244 HP / 168 SpD / 96 Speed alongside Toxic or Earthquake to outspeed Raging Bolt and pressure it. Alternatively, a physically defensive spread with an Impish nature serves Gliscor better against Cinderace, Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Zamazenta, (rc) with the remaining 12 Special Defense EVs slightly improving its bulk against many of the aforementioned special attackers.

Gliscor functions well on any archetype outside of Hyper Offense, although it tends to work best on bulky balance and stall teams. Corviknight is an exceptional partner for Gliscor; its slow U-turn can pivot Gliscor in safely and can check physical attackers like Weavile and most Dragonite sets with an Iron Defense set and its slow U-turn can pivot Gliscor in safely. (the checking stuff is more important than the uturn so flipping the order) Ting-Lu fills a similar niche to Blissey in this regard, both as a blanket check to most special attackers and as a fellow entry hazard setter to cover the entry hazard Gliscor cannot. Ting-Lu blanket checks the vast majority of the tier's special attackers, including Gholdengo and Dragapult, and as such pairs very well with Gliscor on balance teams. On stall teams, Blissey is a mandatory teammate, as it can stomach extremely powerful special attacks from Kyurem, Raging Bolt lacking Taunt, Dragapult, and Iron Moth and greatly benefits from Gliscor's Toxic to wear the former three down even more quickly. Blissey and Ting-Lu can also opt to run Stealth Rock, making it extremely easy for Gliscor to run Spikes with how many opportunities they both find to set their respective entry hazards. Both Blissey and Ting-Lu also benefit greatly from Gliscor's ability to stomach Fighting-type attacks from Zamazenta and Iron Valiant, and in return their ability to effectively check Raging Bolt and Iron Moth lets Gliscor more freely forgo Earthquake run Knock Off alongside Toxic. Galarian Weezing also cripples physical attackers like Ogerpon-W and Weavile with Will-O-Wisp and can even status the likes of Garganacl and Gholdengo in a pinch thanks to Neutralizing Gas, while Gliscor can handle Ground-types like Earth Power Landorus-T and Iron Treads that can severely threaten Galarian Weezing. Because opposing Galarian Weezing can also be problematic for Gliscor, it appreciates teammates like Moltres and Gholdengo that can switch into Galarian Weezing. Gliscor is threatened by physical boosters like Dragonite, Kingambit, Swords Dance Weavile, and Swords Dance Gliscor; though it doesn't appreciate having its held item removed by Weavile's or Gliscor's Knock Off, Dondozo otherwise does an excellent job at keeping these attackers at bay thanks to Unaware and Curse. Toxapex is another excellent teammate for Gliscor; it can check Primarina and run Toxic Spikes or Toxic, letting Gliscor more easily run both Earthquake and Knock Off . Gliscor's ability to absorb Knock Off also greatly assists all of Blissey, Ting-Lu, and Galarian Weezing, which rely heavily on their items to perform their respective roles consistently. On more offensively-leaning teams, Gliscor's reliability as an entry hazard setter and Knock Off user, as well as its pivoting capabilities with U-turn, can support late-game sweeps for IronPress Zamazenta and Dragon Dance Dragonite, which appreciate the long-term progress Gliscor can force against the likes of Moltres, Zapdos, and some Gholdengo variants. In return, Dragonite can effectively check Ogerpon-W for Gliscor, while Roar variants of Zamazenta can even further capitalize on Gliscor's entry hazards by forcing even more chip damage against the opposition. (moved this sentence last just so it flows from balance teammates to bulky offense teammates more smoothly, and also how balance partners are generally more noteworthy for gliscor) Gliscor's support is also invaluable for offensive balance staples like Weavile, Darkrai, Lokix, Ogerpon-W, and Walking Wake; all of these attackers can abuse Gliscor's entry hazards, especially alongside Gliscor's or even their own Knock Off support, (ac) even letting Gliscor drop its Knock Off more freely. extremely effectively while appreciating being pivoted in safely by Gliscor's U-turn. (i think since this is balance then you'll rarely want to run uturn just cause the other moves are too valuable, something that you can more easily forgo on bulky offense) On more offensively-leaning teams, Gliscor's reliability as an entry hazard setter and Knock Off user, as well as its pivoting capabilities with U-turn, can support late-game sweeps for IronPress Zamazenta and Dragon Dance Dragonite, which appreciate the long-term progress Gliscor can force against the likes of Moltres, Zapdos, and some Gholdengo variants. In return, Dragonite can effectively check Ogerpon-W for Gliscor, while Roar variants of Zamazenta can even further capitalize on Gliscor's entry hazards by forcing even more chip damage against the opposition.

Once its Toxic Orb activates it can repeatedly come in on Knock Offs from the likes of Tinkaton and opposing Gliscor aimed at its item-reliant teammates. Gliscor is arguably the tier's best Spikes user, as it (I would remove this. Its just flavor text and its close to not having an argument over Ting-Lu at all) can set multiple layers of Spikes throughout a game, but it can also serve as a good Stealth Rock setter for offensive teams that aren't reliant on stacking multiple entry hazards to force progress. Knock Off most notably removes Heavy-Duty Boots from a litany of Pokemon that includes the likes of Cinderace, Alomomola, (Probably better to have a Pokemon that you Knock Off often and which isnt weak to Earthquake, feel free to choose another Pokemon that fits the criteria) Kyurem, and Ting-Lu to render them vulnerable to Gliscor's entry hazards. These moves tend to have impeccable synergy together, as Knock Off can pop an opposing Tinkaton's, Gholdengo's, or Pecharunt's Air Balloon to pressure them with Earthquake thereafter, since all three are immune to Toxic. (I dont think this makes much sense since Knock Off + EQ + Toxic isnt a set) Toxic covers a huge slew of matchups, as it racks up enormous amounts of passive damage against Zamazenta lacking Substitute or Rest, walls like Ting-Lu and Alomomola, entry hazard removal like Great Tusk and Cinderace, (Same as above, not much point to add Cinderace) and threats like Kyurem and Ogerpon-W attempting to switch in. Though Gliscor's typing is extremely good defensively, Tera Water flips its Ice- and Water-type weaknesses against foes like Weavile, Ice Spinner Dragonite, and Walking Wake, and Tera Fairy assists it against Dark-types like Hisuian Samurott and Dragon-types like Dragapult and Raging Bolt. Tera Dark is yet another strong alternative, as it provides Gliscor with all of an immunity to Psychic Noise, a resistance to Dragapult's Hex, and STAB on Knock Off. Alternatively, a physically defensive spread with an Impish nature serves Gliscor better against Cinderace, Great Tusk, Landorus-T, Kingambit, (Up to you, I'd rather have a Pokemon that you might struggle with more if you are SpDef) and Zamazenta.

Gliscor works best on bulky balance and stall teams. Corviknight is an exceptional partner for Gliscor; it can check physical attackers like Weavile and most Dragonite sets with an Iron Defense set, and its slow U-turn can pivot Gliscor in safely. (I would cut down this for simplicity and it isnt clear momentum helps a defensive Pokemon like Gliscor as it would an offensive one) Ting-Lu blanket checks the vast majority of the tier's special attackers, including Gholdengo and Dragapult, and as such pairs very well with Gliscor on balance teams. (This isnt really saying anything. Just that Ting-Lu is a special defensive Pokemon, doesnt explain why its a good pairing with Gliscor) On stall teams, Blissey is a mandatory teammate, as it can stomach extremely powerful special attacks from Kyurem, Raging Bolt lacking Taunt (I would keep it simple here), Dragapult, and Iron Moth and greatly benefits from Gliscor's Toxic to wear the former three down even more quickly. Blissey and Ting-Lu can also opt to run Stealth Rock, making it extremely easy for Gliscor to run Spikes. Both Blissey and Ting-Lu also benefit greatly from Gliscor's ability to stomach Fighting-type attacks from Zamazenta and Iron Valiant, and in return their ability to effectively check Raging Bolt and Iron Moth lets Gliscor more freely forego Earthquake. (The Stealth Rock and Fighting points are fair, but the other info like the Raging Bolt one you already mentioned above. Furthermore, on stall teams with defensive Gliscor you usually see physdef variants that might try to check Kingambit. If they forego Earthquake is in part due to Dondozo and Corviknight being there to aid it, rather than Blissey. I would remove most of this and only keep the rocks and fighting resist part) Galarian Weezing is another phenomenal partner for Gliscor; Neutralizing Gas turns Gliscor's stalemate matchups against Magic Guard Clefable poisoned by Toxic and opposing Gliscor into favorable ones with a single well-timed switch into Galarian Weezing. Galarian Weezing also cripples physical attackers like Ogerpon-W and Weavile with Will-O-Wisp and can even status the likes of Garganacl and Gholdengo in a pinch, while Gliscor can handle Ground-types like Earth Power Landorus-T and Iron Treads that can severely threaten Galarian Weezing. Because opposing Galarian Weezing can also be problematic for Gliscor, it appreciates teammates like Moltres and Gholdengo that can switch into Galarian Weezing. Gliscor is threatened by physical boosters like Dragonite, Kingambit, Swords Dance Weavile, and Swords Dance Gliscor; though it doesn't appreciate having its held item removed by Weavile's or Gliscor's Knock Off, (too much flavor text) Dondozo otherwise does an excellent job at keeping these attackers at bay thanks to Unaware and Curse. Toxapex is another excellent teammate for Gliscor; it can check Primarina (Very questionable) and run Toxic Spikes or Toxic, letting Gliscor more easily run both Earthquake and Knock Off. (This reads very confusing at least for me) Gliscor's ability to absorb Knock Off also greatly assists all of Blissey, Ting-Lu, and Galarian Weezing, which rely heavily on their items. Gliscor's support is also invaluable for offensive balance staples like Weavile, Darkrai, Lokix, Ogerpon-W, and Walking Wake; all of these attackers can abuse Gliscor's entry hazards, especially alongside Gliscor's or even their own Knock Off support, even letting Gliscor itself drop Knock Off more freely. (Go more in depth about the balance section. The stall teammates are explained to great detail while the more offensive Pokemon are just kinda left as "they are offensive mons so they like hazards support". Treat them with as much care as you did the Dragonite and Zamazenta mentions. Mention for example teammates that handle Kyurem on balance; you mentioned Gholdengo above in the Galarian Weezing mention, that could be a start. Dondozo and Walking Wake are other checks missing)

I would remove this part or at least the Air Balloon mention, specially since you mention Air Balloon in the next sentence) and even pressuring Toxic-immune foes like Galarian Slowking and Clodsire. These moves have good synergy together, as Knock Off can pop an opposing Tinkaton's, Gholdengo's, Kingambit's, or Pecharunt's Air Balloon to pressure them with Earthquake thereafter. Protect is a versatile tool on Gliscor by allowing it to safely activate its Toxic Orb, gain free passive healing from Poison Heal thereafter, rack up free Toxic damage, and even scout options from Choice item users like Kyurem, Gholdengo, and Dragapult. (This is borderline dex info, please add more specific attacks if possible. I would rather have Kingambit's Sucker Punch than Hisuian Smaurott at all) Tera Dragon is a solid Water-resistant option to resist Ogerpon-W's STAB moves, and Tera Ghost is worth considering to allow Gliscor to spinblock against opposing Great Tusk and Iron Treads while serving as an answer to Iron Defense+Body Press Zamazenta and Tera Normal Dragonite. Tera Dark is yet another strong alternative, as it provides Gliscor with all of an immunity to Psychic Noise, (highlight why this is meaningful for Gliscor or remove it. Add an immunity to Future Sight here either way) a resistance to Dragapult's Hex, and STAB on Knock Off. Gliscor works best on bulky balance and stall teams. Corviknight is an exceptional partner for Gliscor; it can check physical attackers like Weavile and most Dragonite sets with an Iron Defense set. On stall teams, Blissey is a mandatory teammate, as it can stomach extremely powerful special attacks from Kyurem, Raging Bolt, Dragapult, Darkrai, (Darkrai is missing and Dragapult is sketchy given all the sets options + Gliscor's ability to scout Choice Specs sets in the first place) and Iron Moth and greatly benefits from Gliscor's Toxic to wear the former three down even more quickly. Gliscor's ability to absorb Knock Off also greatly assists Blissey and Galarian Weezing, which rely heavily on their items. (This reads a bit weird here cause its been a while since you last mentioned Blissey and GWeezing. Either include also Toxapex and Dondozo or remove this part, since you already mntioned Gliscor does this earlier in the text, up to you) Gliscor's support is also invaluable for offensive balance staples like Weavile, Darkrai, Lokix, and Walking Wake; all of these attackers can abuse Gliscor's entry hazards, especially alongside Gliscor's or even their own Knock Off support, even letting Gliscor itself drop Knock Off more freely. (Consider reworking the Zamazenta stuff in here. Non ID Zamazenta is also a great partner that can help Gliscor check Darkrai, Weavile, Ogerpon-W, as well as the Kyurem you have listed below) Gliscor is greatly threatened by extremely powerful special attackers like Kyurem and Walking Wake, so Galarian Slowking is a solid teammate on balance teams that can check these, safely pivot into Gliscor with Chilly Reception, and force even more chip damage with Future Sight and Toxic. (Another defensive Pokemon that pivots on these would be great as well, like Assault Vest Alomomola) Gholdengo can also serve as an effective Kyurem check in a pinch. Dondozo completely walls Gliscor and uses it as setup fodder, so teammates that can muscle past it, such as Ogerpon-W, Taunt Raging Bolt, and Kyurem, make for strong teammates on balance teams. (Pecharunt is an important partner missing that you can try to work in the text. It helps Gliscor, particularly Toxicless variants, to deal with setup sweepers like Ogerpon-W and Dragonite, as well as nemesis Dondozo, and appreciates Gliscor's ability to hangle Ting-Lu. You could rework the Dondozo part to include Curse Garganacl which is also a big Pokmon missing)

Gliscor's support is also invaluable for offensive staples on balance staples teams (Took this wording from Marnie's QC check) like Weavile, Darkrai, Lokix, and Walking Wake; all of these attackers can abuse benefit from Gliscor's entry hazards, especially alongside Gliscor's or even their own Knock Off support, (RC) even letting; (ASC) if Gliscor itself drop partners with Pokemon that can use Knock Off themselves, then it can drop the move more freely. Gliscor is greatly threatened by extremely powerful special attackers like Kyurem and Walking Wake, so bulky pivots like Galarian Slowking and Assault Vest Alomomola are solid teammates on balance teams that can check these and safely pivot Gliscor in, (RC). (AP) Galarian Slowking in particular forces even more chip damage onto the opposing team with Future Sight and Toxic.
