Alolan Persian excels in SV PU as a particularly troublesome pivot, combining high Speed with Fur Coat to consistently check common physical traits of the layer. Fur Coat doubles its effective Defense, allowing Alolan Persian to repeatedly engage in physical strikes and punish sweepers with Foul Play, which ignores defensive boosts and exploits the high Attack of setup users like Swords Dance. Knock Off is essential for removing defensive items from Pokémon, weakening long-term checks and facilitating tempo progress throughout the match. Parting Shot completes the support role, enhancing the opponent's offensive power while ensuring momentum, enabling safe entries for more fragile teammates or setup sweepers. Taunt data the set to avoid hazards, recovery, and boosts, making Alolan Persian especially effective against passive setters and walls that rely on support moves.

Maximum Speed investment with a Jolly nature allows Alolan Persian to outpace much of the unboosted metagame, ensuring Taunt and Parting Shot are used before taking damage. Heavy Boots are crucial for avoiding wear and tear from inbound hazards, maintaining a consistent presence throughout the match. Tera Ghost adds a valuable defensive layer by granting immunity to Fighting-type moves, allowing it to better deal with Close Combat users and avoiding being forced to switch out at critical moments. Alolan Persian best fits balanced or bulky attack phases that value tempo control, item removal, and constant pressure, but appreciates partners capable of handling strong special attackers, as its defensive utility is primarily focused on the physical side.

QC reject, and reassigning this. Not only is there a lot of issues with the text itself and flat out incorrect statements (with sentences like "Parting Shot completes the support role, enhancing the opponent's offensive power while ensuring momentum" and "Taunt data the set to avoid hazards"), the fact that there's literally no mention of any other Pokemon bar Alolan Persian is alone a major issue. There's very clearly not enough experience in PU or with Alolan Persian in general to fix this writeup without basically completely rewriting it myself.
