Toedscool distinguishes itself as the most splashable and viable form of hazard removal in the tier. Its access to Rapid Spin, high Special Defense, and beneficial typing against common Stealth Rock users such as Glimmet and Mudbray, as well as the extremely common Hisuian Voltorb, make it not only rich in defensive utility, but also offensively with its 17 speed and access to Knock Off, compromising foes like Foongus who could otherwise switch in safely. Spore can be used to punish Vullaby, another otherwise switch-in, bypassing potential Overcoat with Mycelium Might.
