This is a BW2 OU tournament!

Tournament Description:

UU, BL (and BL2), and RU have some excellent threats just waiting in the wings for OU players to bring them into the mix. Underrated Pokemon run amok in the lower tiers. This is the premise of this tournament. Each round, pokemon will be randomly selected from lower tiers (UU, RU, BL[2], and possibly NU) and presented in a list in the OP. The player’s job is to choose two Pokemon from this list and build an OU team around those Pokemon.

The list of pokemon to choose from will be randomly generated and about twelve pokemon long. 3 will be definitely UU, 5 will be definitely RU, and the rest will be randomly generated from all tiers (BL - NU). This tournament will test your ability to implement lower tier Pokemon into a harsh OU metagame, and also test your ability to adapt to newer threats with which you OU players may not be as readily familiar.

This tournament emphasizes teambuilding, as the lists will change each round.

Here is your Pokemon list for round 4, courtesy of the RNG. Don't forget. Use two of them. Make a team. Send a log afterwards. =) Choose two, and choose wisely.

This is an added note. Save your teams. I'm not sure what will happen come finals, but keep your teams anyway. :)

Some of you may have gone this far largely on activity wins. I will be doing my absolute best to not hand them out at this point in time. If you are going to WIN this tournament, you will have to actually WIN some matches. :]

The extension has three days to get their battle done because they have been active and I have heard from both parties quite a lot. Friday at midnight EST. :D

Be a good sport. In victory or defeat, this is just Pokemon.

FelixMinamimoto vs. Django
In the battle of "People who have notably completed less than half their matches" or "People whose names often got shortened for simplicity," recent Dual Weather Alert! winner and star full-time benchwarmer on USA Metro FelixMinamimoto encounters resident NU superstar and Emma Watson lover Django. Both players have gotten through largely on their ability to build teams and wait for opponents to not respond, each winning one of their first three matches. These two players have made it here despite the metagame they're playing; Django is known for his low-tier prowess, and Felix's hatred of OU is well-documented. In this battle of near-perfect Johns, which can make the semifinals? Only time, and the crits of fate, will tell.

Kennen vs. WhiteQueen
Once proclaimed "worst tournament poster" WhiteQueen is back with vengeance and is showing his love of UU, masterfully extending it to its older brother OU. While WhiteQueen may have gotten through on activity in round 3 (and thus Jynx saw no use, alas), make no mistake, he is a force with which to be reckoned. WhiteQueen's road to the semifinals is blocked by Kennen, Mexican warrior and active tournament participant. Can Kennen take the next step or will WhiteQueen prove that he's more than talk?

Hantsuki vs. Brotom
Brazilian captain and certified n_n'er Hantsuki faces off against Pokemon family member and low-tier specialist Brotom. Brotom has made it to quarterfinals and semifinals of tournaments before but has never made a final and his play is, as he says, consistently inconsistent. Hantsuki is one of the most solid battlers in the Tournaments section to not have won a solo tournament. One of these players will take a giant step towards their goal. Will Hantsuki's calculated cuteness bewilder and befuddle Brotom or will Brotom's volt-turn combos and unmatched luck take him to greater places?

dragonuser vs. ThatsMyLatios
Two Smogon members with affinities for Dragons face off in this grueling quarterfinals matchup. TML, an active member of the Tournaments forum and of the Smogon YouTube page finds himself locked in a clash with USA East rising star dragonuser. Both players have demonstrated ability, considerable luck, and activity to make it this far. Now, the one true question remains: Will dragonuser's cavalcade of dragons take him to the semifinals, or will ThatsMyLatios bring along an iceuser in counterteaming?
