I really wish the ribombee was qd bc that’s low key fire. Screens makes the most sense here so A

Whoever voted for slowbro-g as a defensive pokemon on A HO TEAM of all things is nuts and does not fit on this team what so ever and is just a loss of momentum especially since the team is supposed to keep up pressure. I dont see chansey or slowking being slotted on lead drill HO.

Toxtricity @ Life Orb
Ability: Punk Rock
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
- Shift Gear
- Overdrive
- Boomburst
- Drain Punch

This gives us a way to abuse physical walls by toxtricity nuking many of them such as skarm, tangrowth, slowking, and amoonguss as with gyara and steela as teammates they can easily clean for toxtricity to clean late game and vise versa by creating holes for steela and gyara they can clean late game as they appreciate pokemon such as amoonguss, tangrowth, aegislash, bulu, nihilego, and zarude weakened for their late game sweep. This over thundurus as it also pressure chansey and can take advantage of celesteela luring it in and can also take advantage of phys def tang attempting to counter gyara

The addition of Slowbro-Galar to the team gives us an even more urgent need for good Speed control. Gyarados and Celesteela already have mediocre Speed tiers before using their respective setup moves, but Glowbro has probably the worst Speed tier in the entire metagame, relying mostly on RNG (let's be real here we're going to have to change the Slowbro set to QCQD if we want it to properly work on this HO team) to outspeed foes. Ribombee lessens Glowbro's reliance on RNG with the combo of Sticky Web and Stun Spore to slow down foes. It also makes it easier for Gyarados and Celesteela to set up and forms a hazard stacking core with Excadrill.

The anti-offense mon in the HO. The team in general lacks some good initial speeds, while steela and gyara can beat a lot of things with boosts under their belt, if something like Thundy or Zarude takes a KO we might be in trouble, which is where doggo comes in. Its also another form of late game cleaning which appreciates aegis, umbreon and skarmory weakened. Doggo is also our answer to opposing sweepers that might get outta control.

This mon is an ho staple, with incredible natural bulk, and great boosting moves. I like this set because it's able to put in work against both offense and balance/some fat teams thanks to rest, but we can always change it later on if some other set fits better. Dropping hurricane doesn't usually hurt too much since many of cane's targets are hurt pretty bad by +3 or +4 fiery wrath, and can't do much in return anyway (zarude lol). Let's try not to suggest any more vest mons please lmao.

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Psyshock
- Fire Blast
- Energy Ball

Azelf gives us natural speed control as our fastest pokemon currently is gyarados and it seems very bad lycanroc-d MU which azelf can help with by outspeeding it and forcing it out and with NP this abuses the holes given by the team towards umbreon and chansey while it can pressure a lot of specially bulky pokemon for toxtricity and can make holes for the team to blow past the counters that are worn down

Zarude @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Jungle Healing
- Power Whip
- Darkest Lariat
- U-turn

Zarude will serve as a reliable offensive pivot for the team, with a capability of outspeeding thundurus which considerably, a threat to the team lategame once slowbro goes down. Jungle healing+HDB is perfect for stall matchups, most specifically chansey as it comfortably come in on hazards, heal status ailments anytime possible and pivot out afterwards. Ultimately, Zarude can also help with revenge killing aegishlash or forcing a switch, as as well as Limiting the overall sweeping potential of BD Azu.
