Alright! The votes are in, and Chansey wins! Onto Week 10!

Week 10 - Choice Scarf Mienshao

:ss/mienshao:

Mienshao @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Stone Edge

Mienshao is an incredibly fast and strong pivot when paired with a Choice Scarf, and thanks to it's Regenerator ability it is able to keep it's safe healthy throughout the match, shining on many offensive teams! You have 6 days to submit once again, good luck!

Thundurus (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Thunderbolt
- Psychic

Thundurus is able to form a solid volt turn core with mienshao, wearing down pokemon like buzzwole, amoonguss, and tangrowth for eachother. Thundurus in particular helps remove waters like azu prim and keldeo as well as scizor that threatens shao, while shao can beat threats like lycanroc, nihilego, and rhyperior in return for thundy

Slowbro-Galar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 16 SpA / 232 SpD / 12 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Future Sight
- Sludge Bomb
- Scald
- Psyshock

Slowbro-g provides mienshao a pivot to many psychic types, poison, and fighting types as they exploit mienshao. It also provides future sight support against many pokemon to think twice to switch in like amoonguss, phys def tang, and salamence

:ss/scizor:
Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Dual Wingbeat

CB Scizor is basically the ideal partner for Mienshao. They form a Uturn core, and function as a speed control core for a team. Mienshao can hit Salamence, Moltres, and the Thundurus twins with Stone Edge, and with Mienshao threatening Steels like Cobalion, Scizor is free to hit Buzzwole and Amoonguss, who would usually sit on Mienshao. Another benefit is that Scizor threatens Fairy and Psychic types, while also hitting Tangrowth with U-turn, which is great for Mienshao. Overall, the two compliment each other amazingly, making Scizor a fantastic match for Choice Scarf Mienshao.

Alrighty! Glowbro wins! Now onto Week 11! I’m doing this post on my phone please be nice I’ll make the formatting better when I’m on my computer

Week 11: Utility Mew

:ss/mew:

Mew @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Knock Off
- Spikes
- Soft-Boiled

Mew is a fantastic glue right now, being able to provide Spikes and Knock Off while also handling Scizor thanks to Flamethrower. It can make for a fantastic partner with Pokémon that love Spikes chip and Scizor being gone, and that’s your job for the week! You have 5 days to submit, good luck!

Lycandoggy
:ss/lycanroc-dusk:
Lycanroc-Dusk @ Life Orb
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Accelerock
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Psychic Fangs

Lycanroc absolutely loves the support that spikes mew gives it, the spikes help dog secure some important 2hko's like AV Tangrowth and help dog break more effectively. But wait can't that be said about every wallbreaker? Yeah but this is where dog differentiates itself, a lot of the counterplay of dog is switching around your mons and make it click the wrong coverage move (eg, someone throwing out their moongus to bait a psychic fangs but then double to scarf krook) spikes heavily punish this kind of plays which is why dog pairs really well with mew.
Dog also gives mew security against faster threats thanks to its speed tier and priority while mew itself can use flamethrower to lure and burn scizor which dog hates to see.

Salamence @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dual Wingbeat
- Earthquake
- Outrage

One of my favorite partners for spikes mew, DD mence is a great sweeper that can take advatnage of the spikes mew lay down for mence to help clean up. Stuff like primarina and aegislash get worn down for mence to clean house, while mew also helps answer threats to mence like scizor and celesteela by wearing them down itself. DD mence then proceeds to sweep the team. A great combo that I've used for some time now

Zarude-Dada @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Power Whip
- Darkest Lariat
- U-turn
- Jungle Healing

Zarude is a great partner as it appreciates pokemon like scizor, celesteela, or moltres being weakened or removed for it to more easily break through them while setting up spikes to even further pressure the opponent since a layer of spikes can mean the difference between a 3hko into a 2hko. Mew appreciates zarude being able to take fighting, and ghost attacks while also being able to sponge status from pokemon such as quagsire, chansey, and rhyperior.

252 Atk Zarude Darkest Lariat vs. 120 HP / 0 Def Scizor: 132-156 (42.4 - 50.1%) -- 90.6% chance to 2HKO after 1 layer of Spikes
252 Atk Zarude Darkest Lariat vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Celesteela: 127-151 (31.9 - 37.9%) -- 93% chance to 3HKO
252 Atk Zarude Power Whip vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Umbreon: 169-201 (42.8 - 51%) -- 96.9% chance to 2HKO after 1 layer of Spikes

Thank you everyone! The winner of Week 11 is Zarude and HydreigonTheChild! Onto Week 12!

Week 12: Lycanroc-D

:ss/lycanroc-dusk:

Lycanroc-Dusk @ Life Orb
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Accelerock
- Stone Edge
- Psychic Fangs
- Close Combat

Lycanroc is an incredible threat in UU right now, being able to break through teams thanks to it's power. However, Lycanroc-D struggles to break through teams that run physically bulky threats such as Tangrowth and Buzzwole, and it's bulk means it wants a way in from the likes of Volt Switch and U-turn. You have 5 days to submit, Good Luck!

@ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 64 SpD / 192 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Spikes
- Will-O-Wisp
- Soft-Boiled

Spikes + lycanroc-d is obnoxious to face, constant chip to the supposed checks to lycanroc-d like aegislash, jirachi, tangrowth, AV reuniclus, slowbro-g, and more. Mew can help by knocking choice scarves, rocky helmets, leftovers, and heavy-duty boots off opponents to make them easier to break through such as aegislash losing leftovers will make its chip stay forever and make it unable to constantly counter lycanroc-d over the course of a game. Will-O-Wisp can generate even more passive damage on opponents who are already struggling to defeat lycanroc-d like aegislash, tangrowth, and more. Mew is also a great pivot to many pokemon like scarf mienshao clicking close combat, scarf zarude clicking power whip, and other revenge killers like thundurus-i and scarf nihilego.

Scizor @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Technician
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Roost

Haha funny metal bug pairs well with literally everything. Though fr it can help answer the grass types that lycanroc struggles to beat while the dog beats fire types
