After my ~month long hiatus from competitive battling, I have returned with another rmt. This is my first stall(ish) team, that I have posted. I my highest CRE this team has achieved was 1602, but recently it has started to fail me, and so I'm here for help. This team stacks checks to the biggest threats in the meta, but that leaves me vulnerable to less common ones (I was once swept by a Rapidash).

Rhyperior (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Megahorn
- Rock Blast
I think I first saw Flareblitz using a CB Rhyperior lead, and boy do I love it. It is really all that stops this team from being ravaged by Chansey and Clefable, while also just hitting REALLY hard. It also does really well against leads that set up Spikes, it can OHKO Froslass, Omastar and Cloyster, with the appropriate attack. More often then not they stay in expecting a much slower set. Omastar and Cloyster are outsped and KO'd by Earthquake and Stone Edge respectively, Rock Blast KO's Froslass through the Sash, allowing a Maximum of one layer of Spikes. Megahorn KO's some Uxie which is useful with how bulky that thing is. Overall, Rhyperior proved extremely useful for this team.

Chansey (F) @ Shed Shell
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/4 Spd/252 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
Like all stall teams, I've included Chansey. Walling almost every special attacker is extremely useful, as is the Wish support. Shed Shell is very important, because I got tired of Chansey getting killed by Dugtrio, although the lack of Lefties recovery hurts at times, it's better than getting killed by Duggie. Protect helps me Toxic stall lots of things. Toxic is very important as it is a (somewhat) reliable means of disposing of Milotic. An irreplaceable member of this team, I couldn't imagine this team with out it.

Rotom @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Charge Beam
- Substitute
- Will-o-wisp
Subcharge Rotom. It helps me clean up weakened teams, while also providing burn suppport. Max HP gives me some bulk, and helps this act as a last ditch check to Swellow. I think his fighting immunity is his most valuable asset to this team, with three pokes weak to it, the ground immunity is also very important, since this is the only poke on the team that has one. The speed is important for Burning Venusaur most importantly, since SD Saur is a huge threat to this team.

Steelix (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Roar
The physical wall of the team, Steelix is also the best check on the team to Mismagius and most SubCM Raikou. This is also the only thing that stands between me and Resttalk Altaria. Steelix also sets up the all important Stealth Rock, the only entry hazard on the team. Steelix can also shuffle the opponent's team with Roar. Overall, Steelix is great and has saved me from being swept be the aforementioned pokes many times. Another irreplaceable member of the team.

Milotic (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
EVs: 252 HP/156 Def/100 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Toxic
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Formally Slowbro and then Slowking, Milotic is likely the member of the team that I am the least sure of. This switch has left me more susceptible to SubPunch Azumarril and Poliwrath. Milotic is still a great pokemon on this team, Being able to take on pretty much all fire types with its excellent bulk and typing. I generally use Toxic on the predicted switch to Poliwrath and Azumarril. Surf is of course Stab and gets good neutral coverage by itself. A good member of the team, but I'm not sure if there is something that could do what it does better.

Venusaur (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP/96 Def/20 Spd/140 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Power Whip
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder
- Synthesis
First this was Froslass, but I didn't like her, as I was never able to reliably do her job without a spinner. Then this spot was occupied by a Hitmontop, with all of the Spike stacking teams of late. I found myself more weak to water types in general and so I switched him to this, and I haven't looked back. Venusaur also helps to check grass types and helps against Rain teams. Venusaur is pretty much my only hope against Resttalk Milotic, unless I desire a massive stall war.
