UU Stall

After having a few people checking here as they were battling me, I've decided to simply edit this team out.

I assume the Bold nature on Tangrowth was an error? Use Impish.
Major props for Clefable. Maybe you could find room for Facade? (With the burn and STAB, a deadly 210 BP.)

The only problem I see is Mismagius. In time, people will recognize it's a PerishTrapper and send in something with Shed Shell, or even Soundproof.

Hello.

You are going to have a hell of a time facing other UU Stall teams, in particular double ghost teams, as Hitmontop cannot Foresight spin. Roserade has no trouble at all getting 3 layers of Spikes down early, especially seeing as Clefable can do nothing except Trick a Flame Orb on it, and Roserade can just Rest off the damage and switch and have its job done. Having faced an opposing stall team with Taunt Mismagius, I can honestly say that it is a great way to give other stall teams a hard time, being able to Taunt Roserade to prevent Spikes setup is always great, and Taunting Chansey's recovery is a great way to stop opposing stall. Therefore, I suggest Taunt somewhere on Mismagius, I can vouch that it works.

Next off, your team gets absolutely manhandled by Taunt Swords Dance Drapion. It is going to stop your Chansey strategy cold, and it can Taunt Mismagius which has no attack moves and Taunt Tangrowth to prevent it from Sleep Powdering. Clefable also can't do anything to it and i'm almost positive Moltres is falling to a +2 Crunch with Stealth Rock. I face the same problem on the stall team I run, my suggestion to you is to use Scarf'd Rotom over Moltres and run bulky Intimidate Hitmontop over your current set. You can even run Earthquake on Hitmontop since Fable is providing you wish support rather easily.

So, in short I recommend
Taunt Mismagius
252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SDef Impish Intimidate Top > your set
Scarf TBolt / Shadow Ball / WoW / Trick Rotom over Moltres

Good luck!

That's probably me. It's a real beauty isn't it??? :')

This is the set I use, it's an excelelnt stallbreaker. Once hazards are up the only thing that can pretty much stop it on a stall team is Drapion.

Mismagius(F)@Leftovers
Nature:Calm
Ability:Levitate
Ev's:252HP/40Def/216SpD
-Shadow Ball
-Taunt
-Will-O-Wisp
-Pain Split

I suggest running this over your current Mismagius. I tried the Perish Trapper as well and was rather dissapointed with its performance.

I'll definitely try the Mismagius set you suggested, though I won't edit it into here until I'm confident in it. Thanks a lot for the suggestions.

For double Ghost teams: I always Pursuit when they have a Foresighted Ghost out. Even if it's not a Double Ghost team, the universal response to having a Foresighted Ghost seems to be "switch to a counter since they'll get Rapid Spin either way". And then I Rapid Spin.

And I'm aware of the problem with Drapion, but really can't see Rotom helping with that. Besides that, it seems like a huge change to make for a single threat.

Just posting to say that Thund's Mismagius is a beast :]

about the team, if you keep this set, try Muscle Band in your hitmontop. He won't do super efective hits to often, and you will have a useless item 90% of the time. and i second what august said: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SDef Impish Intimidate Top > your set

anyway, good luck with the team!
