UUBD I - FINALS (won by Party Girl Primarinas!)

Alas, another playoffs loss, lost count at this point tbh but no regrets coz it was a fun tour nonetheless; initially, we weren't gonna sign up to manage but decided on the very last day to do it anyway so kinda glad we did even though we didn't win it was a nice experience and the team was great. Not gonna do individual shout-outs but honestly, everyone was amazing to team with and put in 100% effort for prep throughout the tour. Quick shout-out to NDK for being a great teammate, helping with scouts every week, and trying his best to help in any slot whenever possible; looking forward to seeing him UUPL or whatever team tour is next. In a similar vein, I was pleasantly surprised with sol, FadedCharm and roxie who despite being slotted into tiers they had limited experience in before this tour were going out of their way to prep, build and test every week trying to come up with new ways to innovate week in week out. And to the surprise of absolutely nobody, big ups to vivalospride in particular for being the third manager for the team, he was pretty much checking in on every channel and making sure everything was going smoothly and was more of a manager than me, and Floss at times tbh; unfortunately, we lost this one but we will win SCL together!!!
A massive thank you to boomp as well for joining the server at the start of the tour and ending up helping in like every(!!) slot, I didn't even know he knew most of these tiers but he was GREAT to have, even built that one ADV team I used that one week! Also thank you to Attribute and umbry for coming in for playoffs and helping out a ton as well. Again, everyone was amazing to team with, and looking forward to teaming up with you guys again

I'm really glad I got the opportunity to play SV this this tour instead of being thrown into a tier I've never played before. When Lily pinged me to do the DPP PR's i was so ready to mentally check out of this tour. Shout-out to tonsillitis for getting me out of that. I'm really proud of how I performed in this tour, I was really happy with both the teams I came up with and the way I played and I think I can safely say I proved myself wrong!

Fun season and a nice group of people to team with even though we weren't the most active. Thanks to the managers for picking me up. Might make a post talking about some of the teams I made and my meta thoughts if anyone would find that interesting. Go Prims!!

Meru you are an amazing pokemon player and also an amazing person to work with. I really enjoyed building with you in the latter weeks (munkidori aside) and you were also just a fun person to chat to. I hope we get to team again in the future!
etern You definitely ran some questionable teams which scared me at times but you won a lot and were fun to be around. Nice teaming with you again, go Oceania!

Drud I just wanted to say that this guys really good at pokemon and if he had a chance to SV this tour he probably would've farmed. Appreciated you doing scouts aswell!

We won! Go Prims! I wanted to make a quick post following UUBD for shoutouts, team drops, etc., so here it is!
First of all, thank you to Lily and avarice for not only drafting me, but having confidence in me to be the main lineup player for the Prims' GSC slot all season. It means a lot to me to be given that responsibility, so thank you for it :)
Secondly, I want to shout out alive for all the amazing work helping me in the GSC slot this season. Alive messaged me on smogon and offered to help out, and was a huge contributor to our GSC success. Thank you for all the ideas, feedback, and testing throughout the season! Managers, if you are looking for a solid GSC UU player and mind in future tours, I encourage you to pick alive up! Similarly, I would like to thank col49 for the help with GSC as well. You provided great feedback on my ideas and good insight into my opponents throughout the tour. Thank you!
Thirdly, I want to highlight some really impressive performances from our team. Meru had an absolutely stunning undefeated 8-0 run this tournament, and etern and Queen of Bean were not far behind with 8-2 and 6-1 records, respectively. Our SV team was incredibly strong this season and I want to say I'm very proud of you all.
Fourthly, I would like to shout out the rest of the Prims for an excellent team environment. In particular, it was really nice to get to know Sabelette, Nat, and Javi, and zoe did a great job keeping up our positive team dynamic. Thank you to the entire team as well for being great to work with!
Finally, some quick drops of a couple teams I like that I made for GSC UU this tournament. I did a fair bit of reusing of teams I made for the Iki Town Idols, since I was quite happy with many of those, but there were a few new ones as well. Enjoy!
