I was absolutely fucking crushed to lose the deciding game, the only other L I've ever been nearly so cut up about was circuit ro16 where my dumb ass crumbled under pressure and fucking forgot I'd knocked something I wanted to poltergeist. It was a familiar story of timer troubles and then it came down to a heartbreaking speed tie, but that's the game we play unfortunately. I have to begrudgingly give props to Potato for getting thrown into svu and winning, and to whoever on the Azelfs made the specs hydrapple call. I was on the verge of completely mentally checking out of about halfway through the season where I kept trolling in builder and losing + the timeout vs sbs incident, but our comeback was one of the craziest things I've had the privilege of being a part of on this site. I thought it was fate at 3-0 up too and had really hoped for/desperately wanted the fairytale ending.
As rough as the ending was for me, I'm still proud of turning around a 5-3 in SVU compared to 3-6 in regular sv last year with 4 Ls on the spin at the end (dunoks I told you a redemption arc was coming this year!). I've gotta thank spell especially for the teams the last couple weeks, as well as pdt trogba and whoever the hell else I stole random pastes from mid-season.
Not gonna shout everyone out bc we have a billion people and I'm not a manager but:
BigFatMantis the Civ theme this year was inspired and you did a great job as always, should've just kept the map and never relented to the demands to have a league table though. I also really appreciated winning heat creationist, it made my day and I remember just laughing so hard after my opponent got electric seed iron crown'd (even if the azelfs had the last laugh in the end)
swinubfan44 Really enjoyed making friends w you this tour, had a lot of laughs and good chat about irl stuff and as you say we'll definitely stay in touch whether through mons or otherwise + there's no one better at making sure my teams were proofed into 4 shell smashers + regirock + maushold

Amukamara the jesus of uufpl. We didn't talk that much but we didn't need to with you going 9-0 and nobody deserved back to back fpls more than you, it sucks ass that the rest of us couldn't quite get you there. Glad I at least wasn't being carried as hard this year I guess.
Imperial every week you were shitting it then every week you clutched up for us on sunday night, I couldn't tell you shit about uubers but it can't be as easy as you made it look every week for 3k
sealoo another I really enjoyed making friends with this tour, you were super fun to help prep as we have pretty similar styles and preferences and that week where we both played and won simultaneously was cool af and your performances did a lot to dispel the natdex unserious tier allegations. Maybe I'll see you in a future tour depending on the existence of a mons-shaped hole in my heart??
olivia consider me sold, bellibolt saleswoman. You were behind the lions share of the iconic moments and lasting memories I'll have of this tour between the great belliboltening and ending colin's unbeaten run, and just a really fun presence throughout who was great fun to prep with.
An Apple I think we were meant to alternate in SVU weren't we? Thanks for holding down dpp and letting me stay up there, and I really enjoyed messing around in tests with you and you found some really clutch wins despite never having touched the tier before.
Mossy Sandwich you always had jesus ev spreads and answers to whatever random questions I'd ping you about, you're amazingly knowledgeable on the tier and congrats again on the masters win.
NotVeryCake your tier is ass but you're the goat at it and were fun to team with
NDK the devil works hard but NDK works harder on the scouts for every slot

As swinubfan alluded to above, chances are the final L will be my last meaningful uu tour game. I've felt for a while now that I've taken my mons about as far as I really can without investing more time than I'm willing to at the expense of career/fitness/social life/dating, and with a new job starting with longer hours and commute that I really need to be locked in for, it just feels like about the right time to pack it in. There are a few things I wish I could've achieved like giving a better account of myself in circuit finals and uupl, but for that I'm still proud of a lot that I managed (esp winning drewvitational and top 8 last years uu open). If this post somehow isn't enough self-indulgent rambling for you, I'll probably stick up a youtube video talking about everything I think is worth talking about in my last 2 years of gaming some point in the next few weeks. Maybe I'll join and click in the odd thing, you might see me on the ladder here and there, and I'll still be about on discord to vibe with friends, but I feel pretty confident in saying I'm done being super invested in/grinding the circuit for/trying to stay at the forefront of UU.
