A new Pan-UU


After the imprisonment of Big Snow Mantis, the rebellion proved to be a success! Luigi Coin and the tributes have now taken over the Capital, and Pan-UU is no longer under Mantis's control. No more shall the grief of "hunger games" be catapulted to all the Districts. Instead, the Districts now stand united! And now, Luigi Coin is prepared to give a speech commemorating this momentous occasion!

"Citizens of Pan-UU! We have won! The great veil of silence has been torn away. The false peace of Big Snow Mantis is no more. No longer will tributes be pawns. No longer will strategy and strength be punished while corruption reigns in comfort. The Hunger Games are over. Pan-UU was never meant to be a machine of blood. It was meant to be a celebration—a union of Trainer and Pokémon, skill and spirit, District and District. And now, together, we have reclaimed it. Not through spectacle, but through sacrifice. We stand united today because of four mighty pillars. Let us honor them:

District 10—Gilderoy Lokix. Where cunning drips like Venom Drench. You saw through illusions and fought with mischief and mind.

District 7—Diancie is Unbreakable. You held fast when others crumbled. Your defense was not just physical—it was moral. You reminded us what we fight for.

District 2—Azelf on the Shelf. Silent, precise, psychic—your resistance was not just with fists, but with foresight. You moved before Mantis even saw the play.

And District 8—Silicobra Kai. You struck with fury. You battled without fear. You reminded the other Districts what true resolve looks like.

Each of you lit a flame. And together… together you burned the old regime to ash!!!!! But! Flames must be tempered. We must remember that power, when left unchecked, can corrupt even the strongest. Even heroes."

Luigi appears to pause for a moment, as if trying to gather himself before making a rather uneasy proclamation.

"Pan-UU needs more than a symbol. It needs a structure. A voice to unify. A leader to preserve this fragile peace. And so, with humility and unwavering resolve… I, Luigi Coin, accept the role of President of Pan-UU! I do not take this mantle for power. I take it for protection. Because power, even in peace, must be watched. Even heroes can be feared—if left untested.

"That is why, to commemorate the end of the Games… and to honor those who brought us here… And to show this as a symbol of honor, vigilance, and unity… …I hereby declare one final Hunger Games. But not as punishment. Not as bloodsport. As tribute. A Pokémon-only battle. A grand tournament. Not to divide us—but to celebrate our strongest. The final Games will feature only those who embody the highest ideals of Pan-UU:

Diancie is Unbreakable.
Azelf on the Shelf.
Silicobra Kai.

"The four heroes. The four pillars. The four who rose highest and must now show the world what the pinnacle of Pan-UU looks like! One last time. To prove they are not just strong, but selfless. Not just legends… but leaders. Please understand this is not punishment. It is honor! Let the Districts watch—not in fear, but in awe! Let the world see the new Pan-UU forged not in tyranny but in trial!! One last battle. Then peace. Forever...

A Talonflame cries from above Luigi coin. As it descends, Luigi can heard muttering "Mockingjay" under his breath. But the Talonflame flies back up again! And through the blinding flaming gusts it left behind, a shadowy figure emerges!

The crowd is stunned, as is Luigi Coin. People mutter "Mockingjay" under the breath with the emergence of the Meowscarada.

“You don't know what we fought for. Because you didn't fight for it. We wanted a united Pan-UU. But all you want is power. I met with Big Snow Mantis before he was to be executed. He told me about your plans, your ambitious. Your Arceus.”

The crowd was now stunned!

“I watched you praise Gilderoy Lokix’s cunning… while plotting their downfall. I heard your applause for Diancie is Unbreakable—while sharpening the blade behind their back. You feared Azelf on the Shelf because they saw too much. And you hated Silicobra Kai because they never bowed to you. And that's your problem, Coin. You wanted them all to bow to you. And so, you built a new Hunger Games today. One masked in honor. One that lets you call the strongest a threat—because deep down, you need them gone. They have served their purpose for you. And now you will discard them before they threaten your unchecked ambitions.

“But the Districts remember the truth. We remember the cages. The lies. The silence. You thought if you silenced the rebellion, the fire would die. But rebellions don’t die. They evolve. We are the Mega Evolution. I am Catnip Lilydeen. I don't care how many Districts you have convinced. You don't convince me, and you never will. And I will make it my life mission that you never deceive anyone again.”

Long ago, two hidden districts, District 13: The Persevering Pidgeottos, and District 14: The Tough Luck Liepards began an annual tradition - take all those who have been left behind, and train them as the ultimate tributes! And this is how the Hearts and Flames Showdown was born!

The Flapples, Spidops, Battlegirls, and Flamigos and all their players and managers can compete in the annual Hearts and Flames Showdown! This is an extra fun week for any player not in the Playoffs to still play another week and get another game in. If you are interested, simply sign up here in this topic in the following format:

After about 3 days of signups, they will close and teams will be formed based on signups and tiers, and the battles can begin midweek! The deadline for these games will be at the end of the following finals week. Have fun!
