  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

Biased predicts (go go my beloved Ladies) incoming. Hopefully I can beat the gorilla after his astounding performance against avarice in tiebreaker.

Celestial Tower Tycoons (4) vs (6) Camphrier Town Ladies

SV: umbry vs Mossy Sandwich
This should go without saying, umbry has been one of the best SV performers this tour and had a strong showing in tiebreak even though she lost. Mossy has been so-so, so bolding umbry.

SV: Xiri vs vivalospride
Both players have been underperforming (though Viv's price tag is much higher), though I know viv has been working his ass off this tour. I have no insight into Xiri's prep or how in tune he is with SV besides the few games he has played, so I am bolding my dawg viv to clutch up in finals. I know he is going to do whatever it takes after the tiebreaker L last week also.

SV: Petros vs Bouff
Like the umbry bold, this one is obvious because Bouff has been on fire this tour and just had a dominant tiebreak win against a very tough opponent. This is Petros first start all tour I believe, so I cannot evaluate his play. Bouff should be favored by almost anyone here no matter how self-deprecating they try to be.

SS: Attribute vs crying
Very excited for this MU between IMO the two best SS players this tour (besides yours truly ) . Attribute's only SS loss was to me so clearly that does not count, and I find his builds to be very good and much stronger than crying's. Crying is amazing at piloting janky stuff but I don't think Attribute will lose in the builder here. Crying also is not someone to prep/scout in a subforum tour so I give the edge to Attribute.

SM: odr vs Indigo Plateau
My most biased of these predicts. IP sort of got destroyed last time they played but I know he will bring a check to sub Primarina this time.

ORAS: Dj Breloominati♬ vs Shiba
Simply put, 2025 Shiba does not lose (except the 2 times he did this tour). Spitfire's record is great but Shiba's play has just been better.

BW: Punny vs Cow
Idk if I would bold anyone over Punny in BW UU, not much else to say.

DPP: frankjosh vs Estarossa
Hardest MU for me to evaluate as both are great and both are playing well this tour. My DPP knowledge is also ass so I am defaulting to the person with less losses here.

ADV: Charmriah vs Heysup
The godfather finds himself in yet another UUPL finals game, the Sup in ADV UU gives death and taxes a run for their money. His take on the tier might be unorthodox, but you cannot deny he Just Wins Games.

GSC: feen vs SANKE CARP

I hate this matchup a lot because both of these teams are filled with some of my favorite people on this site, which means some of my friends have to lose.

Celestial Tower Tycoons (5) vs (5) Camphrier Town Ladies
SV: umbry vs Mossy Sandwich - I'm never not gonna bold Umbry. Hella respect to Mossy tho. That guy leveled up very quickly and become one of the better cg UU players rn.
SV: Xiri vs vivalospride - I've seen vivalospride lose so many god damn games that he's got to be so motivated to win one. Xiri is one of the all time greats of throwing them into X tier and succeeding though.
SV: Petros vs Bouff - Bouff annoys me, and yet I am one of his biggest fans. He is also quite good at Pokemon.
SS: Attribute vs crying - After watching Attribute beat xrn in adv uu, I am unsure if he's able to lose rn.
SM: odr vs Indigo Plateau - Shoutout whoever dug this fossil up. IP is still one of the better SM players and I rate him higher than ODR.
ORAS: Dj Breloominati♬ vs Shiba - Two of my favorite people on this site. DJ went from great to incredible these past few years and he definitely deserves credit for that. But its 2025 and Shiba is superhuman so I can't predict against him; not after that game vs dinger.
BW: Punny vs Cow - Cow is genuinely good at all BW tiers, but I simply cannot predict against Punny when the stakes are this high.
DPP: frankjosh vs Estarossa - frankjosh
ADV: Charmriah vs Heysup - I might be heysup's biggest fan. This grumpy Canadian has just unlocked superpowers and he will be unbeatable.
GSC: feen vs SANKE CARP - I'm picking Feen just bc I KNOW this series is GOING TO TIE and if I pick Sanke that means I'm predicting not a tie.

This series is going to tie. These teams are just about equally matched and theres simply no way this ends anything but 5-5. I will take Tycoons to win the tie breaker here simply bc I think like Umbry Punny Attribute is better than whatever 3 the Ladies select.

ADV: Charmriah vs Heysup - Who is Charmriah? For the blind, he is the vision. For the hungry, he is the chef. For the thirsty, he is the water. If Charmriah thinks, I agree. If Charmriah speaks, I'm listening. If Charmriah has one fan, it is me. If Charmriah has no fans, I don't exist... Charmriah, my beloved god and deity :regiF:

To the blind, he is the light
To the hungry, he is bread.
To the sick, he is the cure.
To the lonely, he is company.
To the sad, he is joy.
To the prisoner, he is freedom.
For the poor, he is treasure
For me he is everything
If Charmriah thinks, I agree.
If Charmriah speaks I listen
If Charmriah fails, I fail.
If the world is against Charmriah, I am against the world.
If Charmriah has 7 billion fans, I am one of them.
If Charmriah has no fans, it’s because I no longer exist.

SV: umbry vs Mossy Sandwich - I risk being redundant or mean with this prediction, and I would hope that those reading this understand that I want for neither of these things. umbry has been very good and involved, while Mossy has been not so very good and seemingly behind the times, and that doesn't feel like something I as an old man that shows up 2-3 times a year should be noticing. As a fan of Good Games I will be rooting for both players to come through with their respective A games, but as a writer of predictions on this thread I will be hedging my bets based on what I have seen thus far.

SV: Xiri vs vivalospride - I'm going to put myself out there for my friend on this one, because to speak candidly viv has been very just ok this tour, and I don't think encapsulates him well. It is my opinion that he would win against Xiri in a neutral matchup on their best game, whose outings in this tier have entirely fine if a bit confined to just playing the hits, but an X factor of note is in the overthinking. Hoping to see cooler heads prevail, but regardless this should lend to a good, relatively even match.

SV: Petros vs Bouff - Bouff has been good at Pokemon, happy for them, and will be expecting another win here. Petros as a player feels stylistically very similar, and to their credit is much further along in their development than most in the 'good, high activity player that is becoming their transitional phase from helper/bench to proper starter' archetype, where their place in these finals feels fully deserved. This all to say that, matching ceiling for ceiling, I would place Bouff on top, and after being cleansed in the crucible of fire against Passion should have leveled out their nerves for this game here.

SS: Attribute vs crying - I would just like to clarify that I am pro-crying, and that my predicting against them twice now is merely incidental. Attribute is lucky, good, and iconoclastic to the point where what little I can intuit of crying prep from their teams likely will not suffice. It is not within the realm of possibility we bear witness to some massively ahead of the curve team here, but more likely than not I think we see bulky offense with a crying twist quashed by 3-4 Flying-types.

SM: odr vs Indigo Plateau - I caught IP talking about the hyper specific conditions under which he has 'never lost' earlier today, a trait of the losing-est players history has yet seen. I am to imagine both parties' losses last week have lit a fire in them to perform here, but unlike adaam I am finding myself unable to grasp a version of IP that is able to meet and overcome odr on his terms right now. This to me will be a game sealed by early game aggression and an inability to overcome the resultant deficit.

ORAS: Dj Breloominati♬ vs Shiba - Shiba once again gets to play the role of steady hand overcoming a faltering player this week. Spitfire played a good game in semis, but found a loss from what to me read as a surprisingly unaware team selection; while i appreciated the interactions the team worked with, and am no stranger to tactical cheating of certain matchups for a better overall team, their final draft to my eyes seemed to give slack to just about every Pak staple under the sun. It's 2025, Shiba is good now, you gotta be able to counter prep and if that's what's being cooked up over there then I am obliged to predict accordingly (I am expecting this game to be good, both are playing some solid pkmn).

BW: Punny vs Cow - Cow came through with a strong win last week, albeit assisted by what I might deem as self-destructive prep from Monai, but you know how the rest of this goes. I believe we're going to see a tech or match-up call hit to bridge the gaps here, but then by that same token I feel Cow's trajectory in this tour has come as the result of increasing familiarity with the metagame, and to deviate in any major way would feel antithetical to that. Interested to see how this game is approached by both parties.

DPP: frankjosh vs Estarossa - I'm glad to have eaten my words last week in regards to the fatty esta game, one of the bigger blowouts of the tour coming through via a smart stylistic pivot and call me crazy but I think they ride the wave of that into this week as well. Gun to my head I feel like frank edges the show out a hair on gamer cred, but the wind has shifted and I must follow my heart. Stated this earlier in the week but this to me feels like the highlight of the week, or if nothing else the hardest game to call from the offset.

ADV: Charmriah vs Heysup - We're seeing another Charmriah vs titan of the industry match-up and I think the same sentiments of last week again apply, perhaps moreso with Heysup himself at times venturing so far outside the box that he forgets the box has some cool stuff in it. That all said, it is obligational to bold the sup here, he's been holding things down this season and the luck has been good far more than it has not.

GSC: feen vs SANKE CARP - SANKE bounced back in a big way in their semis games, maybe not delivering an airtight performance over the entire bo3 but one that confirmed them to be in the game after a late season slump. feen's win last week was also solid, making a smooth transition into the tier for their team, but one might argue his win was a bit of a collaborative effort with the idols. Given what we've seen, I think a no-nonsense bring from SANKE executed as we've seen them to be capable of should win here.
