Pet Mod VaporeMons

Name: Rain Blow | Swamp Whop | Pyro Fight (pyrophyte if you don't get the pun)
Power: 80 BP
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 16
Category:

Type:
|
|

Effect: If this move hits, the user's next move has the Serene Grace effect | lowers the target's Speed by 1 stage | inflicts the target with the Fire Spin effect, unless they switch out or faint. Covert Cloak/Shield Dust blocks these secondary effects but does not prevent these moves from setting up the effect.
Priority: +0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Contact
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Water/Fire types | Grass/Water types | Fire/Grass types
Justification: Pledge move effects but less cringe to set up and deal with. Rainbow and Sea of Flames effect translated pretty seamlessly but the Swamp effect quartering your speed is too nutty even for one turn, so changed it into a reverse Trailblaze.

Name: Deja Vu
Power: 60 BP
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 24
Category:

Type:

Effect: On hit, inflict target with Deja Vu. If target was healed, inflicted with status, had a stat change or took indirect damage on the turn they were inflicted with Deja Vu, repeat that effect at the end of every turn and inflict 20 BP of Psychic damage for 3 turns or until they switch out.
Priority: +0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound):
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :slowbro:/:slowbro-galar::bronzong::hatterene:
Justification: Potentially nutty move on good predict/setup. Besides the benefit of constant chip damage, can do stuff like eat a CC > force the target's defenses to drop each turn, hit a mon that switches in on hazards w/o boots > force hazard chip each turn, etc.
Name: Assertive | Determined | Decisive | Persistent | Gutsy
Effect: On switch-in, this Pokemon's Attack | Defense | Special Attack | Special Defense | Speed is raised by one stage.
Permanent (Yes or No): Yes
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :flapple::sawsbuck::mabosstiff: | :skuntank::qwilfish-hisui::palossand: | :raichu::raichu-alola: :wyrdeer: | :carbink: :drifblim: idk | :jolteon::zangoose::floatzel:
Justification: Pre-buff Intrepid Sword/Dauntless Shield, but for every stat and (ideally) put on lower-tier mons. Strong abilities that are simple but should give lots of mons a fighting chance in OU, or at least the upper-lower tiers.

Name: Smelt
Effect: Rock-type moves that target this Pokemon are converted into Fire-type before dealing damage. When this Pokemon takes Stealth Rock damage, the hazard deals Fire-type damage rather than Rock.
Permanent (Yes or No): Yes
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :moltres::talonflame::coalossal:
Justification: An option for Fire-types that are chronically haunted by Stealth Rock without being forced to run boots, as well as providing counterplay to Accelerock spam that would otherwise absolutely murder quad-weak mons.

Name: Extraordinary
Effect: If this Pokemon is Normal-type and holding a Tera Shard, on entry, its Normal-type will be replaced by the shard's type, and all of its Normal moves will become that type.
Permanent (Yes or No): Yes
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :arboliva::cyclizar::farigiraf::staraptor:
Justification: The Normal type's kinda cheeks and a lot of Normal moves ARE cheeks, so if you're willing to give up your item and ability slot, this can do numbers. Non-Normal Rapid Spin, Body Slam, Hyper Voice, Double Edge, Pop Bomb (don't let :maushold: anywhere near this).
Name: Dreamy Pillow
Effect: While the holder is asleep, heal 1/8 at the end of each turn. Sleep is treated like paralysis, with a 75% chance to move and halved speed. If item is lost, immediately wake up.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 20 BP, puts target to sleep
Justification: Spore counterplay ig? Moreso wanted to experiment with making pseudo-Sleep Talk, paired with Rest you can give some mons without healing an option at the cost of their item slot and inflicting yourself with paralysis.
:sm/mimikyu:
Name: Mimikyu
Type:
/

Abilities: Disguise
New Moves: Ceaseless Edge, Fake Out, Reflect/Light Screen, Throat Chop, Spikes, Skull Bash
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Give Mimikyu more things to do behind its disguise. Ceaseless Edge/Spikes have unspoken value, Fake Out gives it chip and a free turn which is big for it with its disguise still up, Throat Chop is great to stop attempts at Yawning you to end your sweep, and Skull Bash felt thematically appropriate, plus its disguise can absorb a hit during charge-up (Steel Shard Mimikyu?). It can go purely offensive as a late game set-up sweeper with SD/Peekaboo/Choke/Fake Out, or take a more utility-based role with some combination of CEdge/Spikes depending on the matchup, screens with Light Clay, TWave or Wisp, then your attacking move of choice.

:sm/slither-wing:
Name: Slither Wing
Type:
/

Abilities: Protosynthesis / Tinted Lens
New Moves
: Flare Blitz, Quiver Dance
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Slither Wing wants to come in, hit something really hard, and leave if it can't outspeed. Its STABs are good but not great, although Slither getting Volc's Bug while Moth gets Volc's Fire is very thematically appropriate and I don't want to ruin that. So to patch that up, Tinted Lens should let it hit a lot of things harder, especially Fairy, Poison, and Flying types that usually resist both of its STABs and make them a bit more cautious about switching in. Quiver Dance is a meme addition, +1 SpD and Spe on phys sets isn't bad, and maybe could open up some quirky mixed/special sets (Tie Dye Band QD Giga Drain Heat Wave Hurricane? lmao) but I moreso wanted to do an inverse of Fiery Dance being shared between Volc and Moth.

Name: Mind Crush
Power: 120
Accuracy: 100
PP: 5 (max 8)
Category: Physical
Type: Psychic
Effect: Lowers the user's Attack and Defense by 1.
Priority: 0
Flags: Protect, Mirror, Contact
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :hoopa_unbound: :iron_leaves: :azelf: :gallade: :wyrdeer: :veluza: :mew:
Justification: Psychic type Superpower, since physical Psychic types don't have a nuke option. A lot of them have signature moves or Sharpness-boosted Psycho Cut, but they just don't compare to a 120 BP STAB.
Name: Leather Belt :expert_belt:
Effect: Holder's attacks that are neutral against the target do 1.2x damage.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10
Justification: Cool tool for types that don't have too many supereffective hits, like Normal, Dragon, and Ghost. Mostly just an alternative to Life Orb in case you don't want to take damage all the time.

Name: Power Herb :power_herb:
Effect: Holder's two-turn moves complete in one turn (except Sky Drop). Holder's recharge moves skip the recharge turn. Single use.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10
Justification: Minor buff to Power Herb so that it also includes recharge moves. Functions on the same principle of a powerful nuke that you can only click once, and helps proc Unburden sometimes.
Name: Optimist
Effect: This Pokemon draws Dark moves to itself to raise Sp.Atk by 1; Dark immunity.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: Yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :hatterene: :enamorus_therian: :mew: :hoopa: :mesprit: :raichu_alola: :diancie:
Justification: Dark type Storm Drain, to absorb Knock Off and Ceaseless Edge mainly. Additionally, checks a lot of the relevant Dark type Pokemon.

Name: Color Change
Effect: Before being hit by a move, this Pokemon's type changes to the type of that move (unless it is already that type).
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :kecleon: :bellibolt: :dragalge:
Justification: Funny ability that effectively grants a new typing. It's weak to Ghost and Dragon, while resisting Poison, Steel, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Ice, and Dark. Also stops stuff like Toxic, Leech Seed, Spore, Thunder Wave, and Will-O-Wisp.
:sv/grafaiai:
Name: Grafaiai
Type: Dark / Poison
Abilities: Unburden / Poison Touch / Prankster
New Moves: Sucker Punch, Toxic Spikes, Dark Pulse.
Removed Moves: None.
Justification: Just wanted to give Grafaiai STAB on Knock Off, and the ability to set hazards through Toxic Spikes (Dire Claw gets blocked a lot). Allows it to make progress pretty easily. Added Sucker Punch as priority.

:sv/pawmot:
Name: Pawmot
Type: Electric / Fighting
Abilities: Volt Absorb / Natural Cure / Electric Surge
New Moves: U-turn, Reflect, Light Screen, Taunt
Removed Moves: None
Justification: My attempt at a good Electric Terrain setter. Obviously this isn't a 1:1 replica of Tapu Koko, but it has unique options like Revival Blessing and Nuzzle. Additionally, Double Shock hits hard under Terrain, somewhat making up for the lack of Tera Electric.

:sm/krookodile:
Name: Krookodile
Type: Ground / Dark
Abilities: Intimidate / Moxie / Sand Rush
New Moves: Knock Off
Removed Moves: None
Justification: With Excadrill gone, I figured we could use a Sand abuser. It's nowhere near as strong in terms of Attack, but Knock Off is pretty spammable.

Name: Rollout / Round
Power: 50
Accuracy: 100
PP: 15
Category:
/

Type:
/

Effect: The user switches out after dealing damage. Power is doubled…if an ally used Rollout or if this Pokemon used Defense Curl on the previous turn (Rollout) / if an ally used Round on the previous turn (Round).
Priority: 0
Flags: Contact, Mirror, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Base distrib + :goodra-hisui::revavroom::glimmora::carbink::diancie::coalossal: (Rollout) / Base distrib + :scream-tail::chansey::kricketune: (Round)
Justification: More pivoting with a kinda unique secondary effect to reference the original moves. Base distrib for these actually works really well, as a lot of fatter mons without pivoting happen to get them.

I'm not putting up my (still nonexistent) submissions yet. Instead, since it's been bothering me for a while, I have shoddily put together everything that's won in one place since I know for at least for me I really don't remember everything that won, much less what has gotten what over the past five slates. I'll polish this up a lot later--probably some time tomorrow due to a weird amount of down time this week, even for me. I just wanted to throw something out before I went for my daily walk:

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go PM Gravity Monkey, bask in yet more of my failure, and witness yet more littering. Fun. /s

Potential Pokémon With This Move: Azelf, Mespirirt, Uxie, Espathra, Iron Valiant, Alolamola, Slowbro (both), Slowking (both), Spiritomb, Whiscash, Quagsire, Eiscue

Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Avalugg, Cetitan, Beartic, Articuno, Greninja, Floatzel, Crabominable?
Justification: Funny Tera Shard interactions for non ice mons.

Justification: Turning things into Normal types is funny, I tried to give it to mons with underwhelming designs (at least according to the opinions I gathered, I personally love Dudunsparce and Venomoth). Turning things into other types is cool too, especially by changing both of their types, and this could be even cooler in doubles with mons that have good types, I tried to give this to some of the most commonly loved mons.

Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Gyrados, Muk-Alola, Tinkaton, Drednaw, Copperajah, Toxicroak, Honchcrow | Iron Jugulus, Wo-Chien, Tatsugiri, Farigaraf, Amoharos, Rabsca
Justification: funny stallbreak, gave it to mostly random Pokémon, not sure who it would be good on.

Name: Royal Flush
Effect: Boosts the holder’s damage based on how many of the same type of moves they have. 1.2x if two of the same type move, 1.3x if three of the same type of move, and 1.5x if 4 of the same type of move.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): No
Fling Power & Effect: 50 damage
Justification: This would either be really good or really bad depending on the mon. I can see quite a few mons who could use this with 3 of the same type moves, but I don’t know any who could actually afford to use 4 of the same type of move, even for the ridiculous power.

I might add more later

epic double post

Name: Sparkling Spike
Power: 70
Accuracy: 100
PP: 20
Category:

Type:

Effect: After dealing damage, this move deals an additional 12.5% of the foe's max HP.
Priority: 0
Flags: Protect, Mirror, Bullet
Potential Pokémon With This Move::iron moth::volcarona::charcadet::talonflame::delphox::salazzle::scovillain::moltres::arcanine::arcanine-hisui::skeledirge::charizard::flareon::typhlosion::typhlosion-hisui::iron leaves::chespin::electrode-hisui::electrode::meowscarada::brambleghast::lurantis::leafeon::rowlet::jolteon::toxtricity::eelektross::luxray::pincurchin::cacturne::coalossal::carbink::diancie::sableye:
Justification: Remember Flame Burst? This is that, but its effect works in singles and its flavor works for non-Fire-types now. Basically an HP Fire replacement for some Grass and Fire-types with an interesting effect similar to Battle Spines'. Very funny on Battle Spines Jolteon if we let that happen, getting a guaranteed 25% on anything this hits lol.
Name: Power Spot
Effect: This Pokémon and its active allies' moves deal 30% more damage. After this Pokémon switches out, the first move the incoming Pokémon makes has 20% more power. Does not activate if the Power Spot user fainted in the previous turn.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability::stonjourner::carbink::diancie::vespiquen::ampharos::golduck: + some not zu mons lol
Justification: Pretty simple, makes Power Spot not inexplicably useless in singles despite vanilla Steely Spirit's similar effect working in singles while giving it a nice bit of utility, making incoming wallbreakers even more terrifying for a turn.

Name: Mud Wash
Effect: On switch-in, this Pokemon sets Mud Sport and Water Sport for 5 turns. This Pokemon's moves with "Mud" in its name have their power doubled.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability::mudsdale::whiscash::vaporeon::masquerain::pelipper::orthworm::golduck:
Justification: Mud Sport and Water Sport have got to be the weirdest pseudo-weathers (Rooms, Gravity, Ion Deluge weirdly enough, etc.) in Pokemon. They have pretty okay effects, as neutering Electric or Fire moves can be great for teammates, just ask the Fire, Poison, and Steel-types that populate Grassy Terrain teams or the Steels and Grasses on Rain, but the moves that set them are just terrible. Plus, Water Sport is just a worse version of Rain. So instead, let's combine and make them an ability, essentially being a Thick Fat clone for Electric and Fire moves but for 5 turns and the whole team gets it. Also the extra effect is just a funny flavor thing, but it does make Mud Shot a real move for Golduck ig.
:sm/iron bundle:
Name: Iron Bundle
Type:

Abilities: Neuron Drive / Water Veil
New Moves: Psychic Terrain, Rapid Spin
Removed Moves: Frost Breath
Justification: Another slate, yet another person attempting to unban this thing. Tried to be minimalist with these changes, only changing Bundle's type to a much worse one in pure Ice and axing Frost Breath (might be a smidge too strong), then only adding 2 moves, being Psychic Terrain to self-activate Neuron Drive, and Rapid Spin since it feels wrong that future Delibird has nothing to interact with hazards, considering the fact that Deli learns Spikes, Spin, and (previously) Defog. Adding Bundle gives us the special Ice-type many of us have been yearning for and another fast pivot option which I always like. Basically any bulky Steel or really Water can take on Bundle with ease, and even bulky Fire-types are more or less safe since Bundle has to rely on Hydro Pump to beat them.

Ceruledge & Armarouge - Flash Fire / Overcoat / Weak Armor
New Moves:
All - Pain Split
Ceruledge - Leaf Blade, Ceaseless Edge, Shelter
Armarouge - Sludge Bomb, Shelter
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Very minor buff overall, but both Ceruledge and Armarouge already have genuine niches, they just need a little bit more to be splashable. When Overcoat's buff won, we initially passed on giving it to Ceruledge which was suggested, but highkey it'd be very cool for both of them, opening up what items they can use outside of HO playstyles, which especially buffs Ceruledge, letting it run stuff like Baseball Bat or Big Root. It would've been very easy to give these guys Sharpness and Mega Launcher, but I feel like it was so obvious that Game Freak just purposely didn't do it so I won't either, plus I find this a lot more interesting. As more other buffs, Leaf Blade gives Ceruledge another coverage option, Ceaseless Edge is a good move though mainly just there because it starts with a soft C and ends with Edge just like Ceruledge, and Pain Split and Shelter add some utility for both them, potentially opening up Bulk Up or Calm Mind sets.

Justification: Resub from a few slates ago as I still like these a lot. In short, this makes the Gen 8 Regis more like Regis while giving Eleki some more utility for its high Speed and Drago some more real coverage + fun move Scale Shot.

:sm/zarude:
Name: Zarude
Type:

Abilities: Sunblock / Muscle Memory
New Moves: Grav Apple, Sucker Punch, Solar Blade
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Muscle Memory is a really cool ability in an absolutely dire state. Hydreigon will usually still prefer Levitate, Jolteon just lost it for the much better Battle Spines, Flamigo is a worse Gapdos (and would prefer Scrappy probably), and Meloetta and the Oricorios all have better abilities now. So, here's a hopefully cool new user of it that could be viable. Zarude is already quite decent even without a real ability, getting Swords Dance from Game Freak and buffed Jungle Healing and False Surrender from us. But a little more of a nudge would certainly help it. Enter Grav Apple + Muscle Memory. People love their Fire Lash and a move like it and its clones are perfect for a Muscle Memory user, as the mon can just spam it and threaten KOes with the Defense drops it causes, meanwhile it gains power the longer your opponent scrambles to play around it. This concept was subbed last slate with Muscle Memory Galarian Zapdos and I was a huge fan it of there and I'm obviously a huge fan of it here as well. Grav Apple can be a pain to switch in to, False Surreder is another spammable STAB, and Sucker Punch catches faster mons that try to stop the Muscle Memory chain by KOing you. Solar Blade is just there to pair with Sunblock sets if you really want it. Run SD, Band, or Scarf and go crazy

Thanks ig
Lol. I feel like a dummy for not checking the front page after Slate 01 and making sure there wasn't a spreadsheet since I almost got done with going through literally the mons before I realized there thankfully is one already, I just forgot it was there since I can't use Discord right now. Going to finish that anyway on Sunday and double check things even if it ends up being a sunk cost fallacy given I'm assuming things like not giving Tornadus Defog back are intentional (as solidarity against Regenerator /s).

In the meanwhile, have to do my submission now or else it won't get done since I'm busy for the next couples of days. Only going to have one new thing a piece as a result:

NEW SUBMISSION:
Name:
Barb Barrage | Infernal Parade [adjustments]
Power: 15 | 15
Accuracy: 100% | 100%
PP: 10 (max. 16) | 10 (max. 16)
Category: Physical | Special
Type: Poison | Ghost
Effect: Hits 2-5 times. 20% chance to Poison for each hit. Damage increased by 50% (rounded down) if target already poisoned. | Hits 2-5 times. 20% chance to Burn for each hit. Damage increased by 50% (rounded down) if target already burned.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Mirror, Protect (both)
Potential Pokémon With This Move: (Barb Barrage) :clodsire:, :qwilfish:, :qwilfish-hisui: & :overqwil:, :slowbro-galar:, :toxicroak:, :vespiquen:
(Infernal Parade) :brambleghast:, :delphox:, :decidueye:, :mismagius:, :sableye:, :typhlosion-hisui: (I would say :basculegion: and :spiritomb: if not for Adaptability and Odd Keystone respectively)
Justification: Both of these signature moves are rather bad, though Barb Barrage is at least somewhat usable compared to Infernal Parade even though Ghost is a far more privileged attacking type, and yet I think G-Luke was the only person who has tried to buff these so far. I'm trying my hand at it as a "quickie" fix, especially since in addition to its weak official effects, it also bothers me that both of these moves sound like multi-hit ones yet...aren't, even if multi-hit special moves are weirdly uncommon. The damage done with status has been decreased just because there's more chance of status even with the meager 20% at present if all 5 hits happen, even in Barb Barrage's case, and because these now do more damage on average, with their average damage being the same as it with Loaded Dice; their BPs have also been decreased because now they can power itself up on the first hit if you get lucky. I could maybe up Barb Barrage's chance of poison to 30% since it gets a bit screwed over in that sense given that Poison is the far worse attacking type, but meh, that might be annoying with this becoming more widespread than Rain's sole non-Water Swift Swim mon somewhat worth using--sorry, :beartic: Beartic, but it's unfortunately true--and no longer Bug (grrr) Vespiquen, who has Supreme Overlord now on top of STAB. (It also somewhat feels like Barb Barrage should be subject to Bulletproof, but that feels like overqwil overkill since it's already Poison-type, so I won't.)
[EDIT 2023/08/11: BP reduced from 20 to 15.]

RESUBMISSIONS: Hyper Fang | Stone Fang [II] (from Slate 04) and Snatch (from Slate 05)
Name: Hyper Fang | Stone Fang [II] (revival & adjustment | original)
Power: 80 | 80
Accuracy: 100% | 100%
PP: 15 (max. 24) | 15 (max. 24)
Category: Physical | Physical
Type: Normal | Rock
Effect: Destroys screens. Deals 1.5x damage to Steel types (after resistances). | 30% chance to drop target's Defense by 1 stage. Deals 1.5x damage to Steel types (after resistances).
Priority: 0 | 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Bite, Contact, Mirror, Protect | Bite, Contact, Mirror, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move: (Hyper Fang) :arcanine:, :arcanine-hisui:, :avalugg-hisui:, :greedent:, :gumshoos:, :maushold:, :oinkologne:, :oinkologne-f:, :pachirisu:, :ursaluna:
(Stone Fang [II]) :arcanine-hisui:, :avalugg-hisui:, :drednaw:, :hippowdon:, :iron thorns:, :klawf:, :lycanroc:, :lycanroc-dusk:, :lycanroc-midnight:, :tyranitar:, etc. (basically Rock mons with toothy mouths--screw you, Garganacl--and even potentially Strong Jaw mons that aren't Rock)
Justification: I'm "cheating" a bit by bundling what's technically a resubmission with the revival of move that got nixed but might as well be new anyway beyond its BP. Stone Fang's would-be distribution would more or less be the same despite its effects being completely different now beyond "100% accurate Rock-type move that literally Bites". Hyper Fang's distribution would be far more limited given how many rodent mons just aren't in Gen 09--poor :bidoof: Bidoof--at all, but that's likely for the better as much as I have an apparent hatred for Screens--I blame :grimmsnarl: Grimmsnarl and Aurora Veil--since some people simply don't; also, like Psychic Fangs (which is annoyingly plural for some reason), Normal innately has a type immunity unlike Rock. Finally, both deal essentially 75% of their damage to Steel types after resistances given that rats are known to be able to chew through even some metals and given that some rocks can be harder than many metals (and given that Steel is still extremely privileged).

Name: Snatch (revival & adjustment)
Power: -
Accuracy: -%
PP: 10 (max. 16)
Category: Status
Type: Dark
Effect: "The user steals the effects of any healing or stat-changing move the opponent attempts to use. If the user is successful, it disables that move for 3 turns."
Priority: +4
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Authentic [I can't remember if this went through Subs, but now it does. Otherwise it wouldn't have any flags I think since it's not affected by Mirror Move OR Protect OR itself and definitely isn't Contact.]
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :chansey:, :croagunk:, :fletchling:, :froslass:, :gastly:, :gulpin:, :litleo:, :meowth:, :meowth-alola:, :mew:, :misdreavus:, :murkrow: :noibat:, :ralts:, :rotom:, :salandit:, :sableye:, :seviper:, :shuppet:, :shroomish:, :sneasel:, :spiritomb:, :spoink:, :stunky:, :umbreon:, :zorua: (a.k.a. all the still existent mons and implicitly their evolutions that already had gotten Snatch at some point before it got removed) + :brute bonnet:, :meowscarada:, :meowth-galar:, :snorunt:, :sneasel-hisui:, :zarude: (maybe not Zarude-Dada though), :zorua-hisui:, etc. + :espathra: (and other potential Opportunist mons I guess).
Justification: A fun move that sadly both barely got used and also got needlessly murdered. It also seems weird to me that one of the Flags is still Snatch when it just no longer exists and hasn't for a while. Snatch coming back would give some active counterplay for the people who dislike Healing Stones, and it should generally be more usable now especially since now it briefly disables the move it successfully steals.

NEW SUBMISSION:
Name:
Pink Bow & other type-enhancing items (Silk Scarf, Charcoal, Mystic Water, etc.) [adjustments]
Effect: "The power of user's Fairy type | Normal type | Fire type | Water type | etc. type moves are increased by 30%."
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes.
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes.
Fling Power & Effect: 10 (for Pink Bow; all the other type-enhancing items keep their official Fling BPs).
Justification: Not that Fairy needs more help as a type, but it does still bother me that there's still not a "normal" type-enhancing item for Fairy types, only Pixie Plate. Since I don't believe in :arceus: Arceus--gasp!--and since the Plates still remain better to Fling at least, I don't think there's any harm introducing this--technically reintroducing since Silk Scarf murdered and replaced it in Gen III--and upping all of their boosting powers too since right now they're really not worth using unfortunately. Even with the boost, free Life Orb but only for one type still isn't that appealing to the majority of mons and thus shouldn't be broken. (In before Mystic Water and Black Glasses somehow break :inteleon: Inteleon or :iron jugulis: Iron Jugulis respectively.) If you want to give the all of the Plates the same treatment too, then I'm not against it I guess. Shrug.

NEW SUBMISSION:
Name:
Normalize | Aerilate | Pixilate | Refrigerate | Galvanize [adjustments]
Effect: "The user's Normal-type attacks become Normal-type | Flying-type | Fairy-type | Ice-type | Electric-type and receive a 20% power boost. The user receives damage from Normal-type | Flying-type | Fairy-type | Ice-type | Electric-type moves with a halved attacking stat.
Permanent (Yes or No):
No.
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes.
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: (Normalize) :arcanine: (over Flash Fire), :maushold: (over Friend Guard; do it, you cowards), :persian: (over Unnerve), :persian-alola: (over Rattled), :staraptor:, :zangoose:
(Aerilate) :flapple: (over Gluttony), :gyarados:, :moltres-galar:, :salamence:
(Pixilate) :gardevoir: (over Synchronize), :sylveon:
(Refrigerate) :articuno-galar:, :cryogonal:, :glalie: (over Moody; such a shame this lost Explosion), :rotom-frost:
(Galvanize) :braviary-hisui: (over Keen Eye), :hawlucha: (over Limber), :zapdos-galar:
Justification: Since flareth13 didn't submit these again, I figured I would take a crack at them, making them half-Thick Fat | pseudo-Punk Rock aspects to help compensate their nerfed forms since no Megas exist. [Insert ignoring Charizard here.] Additionally Normalize is technically part of the same group name-wise (hence the redundant description), but it has always been one of the worst abilities in the game, and resisting Normal as a non-Rock, non-Steel mon is a bit of a niche (even if it would be more of a niche to not still be weak to Fighting while doing it).

RESUBMISSIONS: Iron Fist | Iron Foot (from Slate 03) and Shield Dust (from Slate 05)
Name: Iron Fist | Iron Foot [adjustment | "original"]
Effect: "This Pokemon receives 1/2 damage from punching | kicking moves. Its own have 1.3x power."
Aqua Step
Axe Kick
Blaze Kick
Double Kick
High Horsepower
High Jump Kick
Ice Spinner
Jump Kick
Low Kick
Low Sweep
Mega Kick
Rolling Kick
Stomp
Stomping Tantrum
Thunderous Kick
Triple Axel
Triple Kick
Trop Kick

Permanent (Yes or No): No.
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes (as far as receiving damage goes).
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: (Iron Fist) :crabominable: & :pawmot: + :breloom: (over Effect Spore), :hariyama: (over Sheer Force, which I don't think Hariyama has ever used), :iron hands:, :lucario: (over Steadfast), :primeape: (over Vital Spirit) (and :annihilape: and both :urshifu:, not that it matters--ha)
(Iron Foot) :flamigo:, :glastrier:, :hawlucha: (over Limber, which I don't think Hawlucha has ever used), :lokix:, :lucario: (over Inner Focus or maybe Justified), :quaquaval: (maybe--Moxie might be better and less problematic to keep), :tsareena: (over Leaf Guard or, if my Tsareena entry somehow wins at the same time this does, over Seed Sower I guess), and :zapdos-galar: (fits but might be too much)
Justification: In another of my many "kill as many birds with one stone" tendencies thus far, I figure I would combine two or three previous entries in here into one while keeping the power scaled down a bit since 50% boosts for either of these seem like they'd be...problematic given Drain Punch and High Jump Kick (& Axe Kick...& Aqua Step) respectively. Annoyingly, all of the good kicking are pretty spread out unless I go out of my way to extend the ability to moves that just involve footwork like Glubflubb did with "Surefooted" that included Acrobatics, Flying Press, High Horsepower, Ice Spinner, and Stomping Tantrum too, which is all the more reason to rein it in if I do. Regardless, as it stands making Iron Fist into a Punk Rock clone does seem the best way to make it more viable without going overboard, and it helps buff two already good mons more in the form of Pawmot and VaporeMons's version of Crabominable; Iron Foot at least still gives Tsareena and maybe the actual Fighting mons with it a decent boost even with Triple Axel currently gone.

Name: Shield Dust [adjustment]
Effect: "This Pokemon is no affected by the secondary effect of another Pokemon's attack and such attacks are reduced to 75% of their damage."
Permanent (Yes or No): No.
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes.
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :frosmoth: & :vivillon: (a.k.a. the still existent mons that already have it) + :forretress:, :garganacl: (not like it's ever using it), :kleavor: (over Swarm), :lokix:, :masquerain:, :rabsca:, :slither wing:, etc. (maybe even :falinks: and :zamazenta: if going with the "shield" part of this changed name)
Justification: Just subbing the suggestion that Yoshiblaze gave all the way back in Slate 01 when it came to Covert Cloak since I don't think anyone ever did. Shrug.

"NEW" SUBMISSION:
(now currently RU)
:sm/brambleghast:
Name: Brambleghast
Type: Grass/Ghost
Ability: Wind Rider / Sand Rush / Death Aura (hidden ability)
New Moves: Acrobatics, Bounce, Bulldoze, Dire Claw, Ice Spinner, Poltergeist, Sandstorm, U-Turn, X-Scissor, Will-o-wisp. (Already has Choke from Slate 03.)
Removed Moves: [None]
Justification: Technically a resubmission, but one that I'm changing up a bit as well coming back to over a month later after Beaf Cultist tried for all that time to get Brambleghast boosted to unfortunately no avail. This now has Death Aura over Infiltrator even as much as I apparently hate screens and hyper offense, but otherwise is the same as my initial submission beyond already having Choke from Slate 03 and now also having Sandstorm since that just makes sense if I'm giving it a sand-based ability. Oh, I suppose it does now have Dire Claw instead of Shadow Claw since Shadow Claw's mostly redundant to Choke unfortunately. I feel a bit bad for having this obviate :houndstone: Houndstone's potential as a Sand sweeper if it wins, but if this does win, then I'll do my best to buff Houndstone (and its compatriots) next; the new Sand Veil suits that mon's stats more anyway even if it fit Brambleghast more flavor-wise--oh well.
[EDIT 2023/08/11: Now has Poltergeist over Swords Dance since I am somehow blanked on Sand Clock being an obvious problem with the latter. Whoops.]

RESUBMISSION: Tsareena (from Slate 03)
(still currently RU)
:sm/tsareena:
Name: Tsareena
Type: Grass/Fairy
Abilities:
Seed Sower (from Slate 03) / Queenly Majesty / Pixilate (hidden ability)
New Moves: Body Slam, Heal Bell, Petal Blizzard, Thunderous Kick, and Triple Axel (still technically exists but is unused akin to how Poltergeist was). (Already has Jungle Healing from Slate 02 and Choke from Slate 03.)
Removed Moves: [none]
Justification: I loathe Regenerator, so this is my attempt at buffing Tsareena, who doesn't need that much, especially after Jungle Healing. While a kick-buffing ability (or a Leaf Guard that wasn't horrible) would be nice (but would probably break Quaquaval in the former case), this is making do with what current exists. The additions are self-explanatory for once save for perhaps Petal Blizzard, which finally gives her attacks above 80 BP with 100% accuracy; Body Slam, Thunderous Kick, and Pixilate fulfill the same role, with the last meaning she can actually remove hazards with Rapid Spin even against Gholdengo's stupid self. (Also Tsareena always weirdly felt like it should have been Grass/Fairy or Grass/Fighting, but the latter somewhat steps on :breloom: Breloom--heh--even with :decidueye-hisui: Decidueye-Hisui no longer Grass/Fighting too now, so....)

Less than one day until voting begins, which means we have another veto phase! But, like last slate, this'll be another veto phase / sub review! I'll be giving feedback on all submissions, while specifically pointing out the ones that are vetoed and should be fixed (denoted by the word veto, vetoing, or vetoed in bold). Unless your submission was vetoed, feel free to not take my advice as they are just my opinion. The feedback will be more brief than usual but I hope you still find it helpful!

And like the last couple slates, you will be allowed to add and change submissions for these last 24 hours.

Moves: These just have the same effective BP as base Explosion.
Items: Standard Ruleset gets vetoed, NGas as an item is extremely powerful for offensive and defensive mons alike, as it's a huge stallbreaking tool for offensive mons, while defensive mons can easily wall any ability-reliant offensive mons they want

Moves: All are pretty cool, Slowing Sap in particular sounds pretty neat
Items: Terrain Defender is pretty mediocre, just being an consumable terrain seed that boosts the opposite stat. Mob Protection actually came up in veto discussions as we don't really want to add more Supreme Overlord mons and Honchkrow can weaken or beat Kingambit's Fighting-type checks, which is concerning. While we didn't end up vetoing it, this possibility is enough to make me not like it. Metal Coat is getting vetoed, as its effect on Steel-types is too much, as the power boost for offensive Steels like Scizor or Iron Treads is pretty insane (not to mention Corviknight being harder to take down since it'd get to resist Electric). Plus, its effect on non-Steels basically just makes it a straight upgrade to Steel Tera Shard for most mons, which I don't really like. Also, just because of symmetry with the other type-boosting items, I'd rather Metal Coat be a new item rather than Metal Coat if you do decide to rework it. Precious Gems are kinda in the same boat as Mob Protection, though less so as Diancie and Sableye could have a bit of a niche.
Abilities: These are all nothing crazy but are fine
Adjustments: The Lycanrocs do get vetoed, as Lycandusk already does insane damage with TC-boosted Chisel, so giving Midday Technician, giving Dusk a complimentary secondary STAB, and giving them both U-Turn definitely pushes them over the edge. I recommend not giving Midday Technician and either keeping Dusk as a pure Rock-type or giving it a worse secondary typing. Flareon is probably still not good but this might make it usable

Adjustments: Banette is still fine, Eelektross is honestly super interesting but would likely be very underwhelming, and giving Lurantis Superpower back is fine but it would still be bad. Eel could do with some form of recovery and utility (Knock & TSpikes?), while Lurantis needs a lot more, maybe a better typing and Power Trip so you can run Leaf Storm/Superpower/Power Trip/Synth or something

Moves: Shed Tail is fine, Wonder Room is cool but it'd be unviable until we get a way to auto-set it (plus even if it got that it might face the same problem as Magic Room where it'd hard to build a team with it in mind since it doesn't help most mons)
Adjustments: Iron Thorns gets vetoed for the same reason as PQRDG's Lycanrocs where Technician in combination with Chisel is too much, so you could opt for Skill Link instead (or remove Chisel). Ampharos is still fine, a lot better now in fact

Moves: Mega Kick is fine, Rekindle is fairly interesting, and Accelerock is still fine
Abilities: Friend Guard is pretty cool, helps frail mons on balance that have a hard time getting in
Adjustments: Both PHeal mons with probably be really annoying but not broken ig. Umbreon is the less annoying one, could be a neat wall or wincon with Curse. Just a minor note about it is that it gained Counteract as a Hidden Ability, so I'd rather you replace Synchronize with Counteract but it doesn't matter that much. Iron Leaves not having either of Virizion's typings and breaking that Paradox rule urking me aside, it's really cool. Will be awkward if Iron Crown ends up having the same type but that's a later problem

Moves: Big fan of Aura Burst, Frolic is pretty neat, and Pupate is just okay, basically Cosmic Power with extra steps (and that move's distrib got gutted)
Items: Cell Battery could be neat, I could see Sand Spit Sandy Shocks using it and maybe Iron Hands as well. Weather Vane is something, though a bit of a pain to code, Float Stone is kinda just better HDB on the non-Rocks weak pivots that use it so I don't really like it
Abilities: Fair Play and Flatten are neat. Green-Eyed gets vetoed, as passive Snatch is crazy tool against basically anything defensive since they can't heal while a Green-Eyed mon is active while the Green-Eyed still gets to heal, while also blanking setup. Basically makes it Death Aura + Opportunist but much better, and the former would've probably been broken if it didn't prevent self-healing. Forewarn also gets vetoed, as auto-Future Sight puts a huge amount of pressure on the opponent no matter the BP (which'll usually be >100 anyway)
Adjustments: Toedscruel and Orthworm both look super annoying to play against but they would definitely be viable (and highkey if Orthworm had literally any more SpD it'd be broken), Flutter Mane is probably fine (though Psychic is already represented with Iron Leaves). The Braviaries do get vetoed however, as Unovan Brav has too high of an Attack stat to have Gale Wings in combination with Brave Bird. Hisuian is slightly more balanced, but I highly recommend removing Psycho Boost from it, as it's nigh impossible to switch into with either Sheer Heart or Tinted Lens if you're not a Dark-type.

Moves: Freeze-Dry clones are existent, Soul Search / Self-Immolate are weird, cuz you want your offensive stat to be as low as possible but the lower it is the less damage the move does, but the higher it is the less damage it does as well
Items: Zoom Lens is still fine

Moves: Fear Pulse is neat but probably too weak initially to make it worth it over Dark Pulse, maybe make it 70 BP. Fight-or-Flight is pretty cool, and the other two are alright
Abilities: Metalize overlaps with Steely Spirit as a Steel-boosting ability, so I'd recommend picking another type to give an -ate to

Adjustments: All 3 are very good (Talon barely being phoenix enough to fit Revival Blessing aside, you've heard enough of that already). Tech Mence could highkey be silly but its type hopefully holds it back enough

Items: Still fine
Abilities: Is okay, probably the best of the freeing Slaking subs so far, basically just Klutz Slaking from SylveMons with extra steps
Adjustments: The Lillis do just barely get vetoed, only because Lilligant-H could go over the edge with a the much better Fairy/Fighting-typing, having Hustle and Victory Dance makes it volatile and a much better all-around typing is a dangerous box to open

Items: Both still fine

Items: Destiny Knot is still fine and Nat 1 Dice is amusing but pretty much useless. Surfboard does get vetoed as we did veto surprise immunity items a couple slates ago and while this one has a much weaker effect, surprise immunities are still unhealthy enough to warrant a veto. Just make it reduce the damage by 50%.
Abilities: Triage and Dragon's Maw are both pretty neat
Adjustments: Both are fine Boombursters, nothing crazy

Moves: Probably not worth running, probably either increase the BP and/or make the moves themselves apply these effects (aside from the Water one, since it can't benefit from Serene Grace by itself)
Abilities: The Gen 8 Intrepid Sword clones are fine, Smelt is really cool, and Extraordinary is just alright
Adjustments: Combining Disguise with a bunch of utility is pretty cool, I like it. Note that Mimikyu already gets Light Screen, so you just have to add Reflect

Moves, Abilities, & Items: All still fine
Adjustments: Still like Grafaiai, Pawmot is an adequate Surge mon, and Krookodile unfortunately gets vetoed simply because of Sand Clock being broken in combination with SD and Sand Rush, so just remove Swords Dance

Moves: Rollout chains sound like a lot of fun. Lowkey, add Round to this and give it the same effect, get that Wigglytuff buff lol

Moves: Empty Mind is decent though quite complicated, Blaze Kick and friends are still pretty cool
Items: Still fine
Abilities: Flash Freeze and Reflective are fine (though do note the Flash Fire boost lasts until the user switches out or loses the ability, so you should make these like that instead of 1 time), State Change is still okay, Aura and Charisma are funny, though I much prefer Charisma as removing STAB is a concept that's been seen in JolteMons to great effect already but Charisma's effect can be neat for Dragon or Ghost-types, and Bullying is fine (funny out of context quote)

cool and good

Just gonna comment on the new stuff, all the resubs are fine still
Moves: The multi-hit moves are kinda crazy, having a really high chance of statusing while having a ton of power when it inevitably does, like a better version of Shrapnel Shot, so they do get vetoed. Probably just make them 15 BP.
Items: Yeah this just makes sense
Abilities: Still like -ates
Adjustments: While overall I the same feelings as Beaf's past Bramble subs, Sand Clock being a thing means that Swords Dance unfortunately needs to go, so it gets vetoed
