[SET COMMENTS]
Venomicon-E is an incredibly potent wallbreaker thanks to its high Speed tier and Tinted Lens-boosted Brave Bird. Due to its typing and inability to lose its item, it can set up with Coil and Substitute on common defensive foes like Clefable and Landorus-T. Beyond easing setup, Substitute blocks status from Astrolotl and Clefable and Ferrothorn's Leech Seed. Alternatively, Venomicon-E can run Knock Off to weaken checks like Zapdos and Magnezone, Gunk Shot for a powerful, recoilless hit that comes with a chance to poison foes like Zapdos, or U-turn to generate momentum while doing notable chip damage due to Tinted Lens.
Due to Venomicon-E's outstanding ability to force damage onto foes, it fits best on offensive teams. Pokemon like Dragapult, Weavile, Urshifu-R, Tapu Lele, Air Balloon Heatran, and Kartana appreciate it punching holes in the opposition. Magnezone is a notable partner, as it pressures the slow pivots that are tasked with switching into Venomicon-E repeatedly, like Corviknight and Slowbro, while trapping and KOing or chipping Ferrothorn and Melmetal; it can even situationally switch into Weavile. In return, Venomicon-E safely switches into the Ground-types that often attempt to revenge kill Magnezone. Melmetal is another outstanding partner for its ability to take on Choice Scarf Tapu Lele. Due to Venomicon-E's weakness to Stealth Rock, entry hazard removal from teammates like Landorus-T, Equilibra, and Astrolotl is imperative. Similarly, entry hazard support, particularly Spikes from Pokemon like Ferrothorn, opens up Venomicon-E greatly, as it forces many switches. Venomicon-E is pressured by faster threats like Weavile and Dragapult, so Pokemon that can pressure them, like Zeraora and Choice Scarf Tapu Fini, and switch into them, like Toxapex, are great partners.

Checks and Counters
====
**Bulky Electric-types**: Zapdos, Cyclohm, and Magnezone can all tank a +1 Brave Bird and force Venomicon-E out with their strong Electric-type STAB moves. Magnezone is easily chipped, however.
**Revenge Killers**: Though Venomicon-E possesses respectable Speed, it is still threatened by some notable revenge killers like Weavile, Dragapult, Stratagem, Tapu Koko, and Choice Scarf users like Tapu Lele and Blacephalon. Dragapult and Weavile deserve special mention for forcing Venomicon-E out even if it has a Substitute up.
**Physically Bulky Pokemon**: Slowbro and Corviknight can easily eat a +1 Brave Bird and safely pivot in a revenge killer. Toxapex can easily stay in on Venomicon-E while accruing chip damage with Rocky Helmet and fishing for a Scald burn if Venomicon-E lacks Substitute. Melmetal can switch into Venomicon-E situationally and force it out with Double Iron Bash; however, doing so multiple times can result in it getting overwhelmed. Ferrothorn can decently check Venomicon-E through the combination of Iron Barbs, Gyro Ball, and Leech Seed, but it struggles against Substitute variants.
**Stealth Rock**: Due to Venomicon-E's Rock weakness and tendency to take massive chip damage from Brave Bird recoil, Stealth Rock is a great way to keep its wallbreaking in check.
**Status**: If Venomicon-E is not running Substitute, it is quite vulnerable to status moves like Will-O-Wisp from Astrolotl and Thunder Wave from Clefable or Ferrothorn.
