[OVERVIEW]
* Venusaur is one of the most capable all-around threats in the metagame that can be placed on a variety of teams.
* Having access to great offensive base stats and an expansive offensive movepool including powerful STAB options such as Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb on top of coverage such as Earthquake turns Venusaur into a very difficult threat to properly account for defensively.
* Venusaur possesses an admirable defensive typing which provides it key resistances to Electric-, Water-, Fighting-, Grass-, and Fairy-type attacks alongside good bulk , letting it check top tier threats such as Whimsicott, Heliolisk, Sceptile, and Hitmonlee. It also has access to utility options like Sleep Powder and Knock Off which enables Venusaur to threaten a wider variety of Pokemon.
* This same typing unfortunately leaves Venusaur weak to common offensive types such as Fire, Psychic, and Flying.
* Venusaur's Speed is also quite lacking for an offensive threat, leaving it susceptible to faster foes such as Sneasel, Delphox, Vivillon, and Sigilyph.

Moves
========
* Leaf Storm is Venusaur's most powerful Grass-STAB option which hits the majority of the metagame for a significant amount of damage with the cost of lowering it's Special Attack after each use. Giga Drain is an alternative yet weaker option which comes with the added benefit of providing Venusaur sustainability.
* Sludge Bomb provides Venusaur a secondary STAB option which targets Grass-, Fire-, and Dragon-types that would like to switch into it's Grass-type moves.
* Synthesis acts as a reliable recovery option which provides Venusaur crucial sustainability especially if it chooses not to run Giga Drain.
* Sleep Powder is a great utility option that can disrupt many potential defensive checks such as Golbat and Silvally-Steel, crippling them as they try to switch in. Hidden Power Fire can be used as an alternative coverage option to target Steel-types such as Klingklang and Ferroseed while Earthquake can be used to hit Poison-types such as Garbador and Toxicroak.

Set Details
========
* Life Orb elevates Venusaur's offensive presence, turning it into a threatening wallbreaker that can be difficult to check defensively.
* EVs have been fully invested into Special Attack and Speed with a Timid nature in order to maximize Venusaur's offensive capabilities. A Naive nature can be used instead if Venusaur chooses to run Earthquake as a coverage option.
* Overgrow can be useful if Venusaur has been weakened, increasing the damage output of it's Grass-type attacks to frightening levels.

Usage Tips
========
* Venusaur appreciates wallbreaking earlier on in the game due to how well it can force swithins and deter potential checks with Sleep Powder, aiding it's teammates immensely.
* It will be spamming it's STAB attacks the majority of the time, however be wary of utilizing Leaf Storm too often as it may provide the opponent unwanted momentum as Venusaur is forced to switch out.
* Sleep Powder can be used to target predicted switchins that would otherwise be able to stomach Venusaur's attacks, letting Venusaur potentially bypass them if it is able to accumulate enough damage as the opponent is immobilized.
* Synthesis is recommended to be used on turns where Venusaur forces an opponent out, providing it crucial sustainability as it gets weakened down by Life Orb recoil and potential entry hazard chip damage.

Team Options
========
* Offensive teammates that can take advatange of Venusaur's wa;;breaking capabilities are the most optimal, with the most notable examples being Incineroar, Medicham, and Sneasel as they all appreciate Venusaur's capability in breaking down physically defensive threats, while the aforementioned examples can handle checks to Venusaur such as Type: Null and Golbat in return.
* Teammates that can take on Fire-, Flying-, and Psychic-type attacks such as Slowbro, Steelix, and Incineroar are also beneficial, since they can aid Venusaur in taking on certain threats such as Delphox and Sneasel. Venusaur can resultingly help deal with Water- and Ground-types in return.
* Slow momentum coming from teammates such as Xatu and Lanturn may aid Venusaur in having a chance in coming in more frequently, enabling it to wallbreak without fear of being worn down.
* Entry hazard setters can help Venusaur break down it's checks and apply more pressure to the opposing team. Good examples include Rhydon, Ferroseed, and Milktank.

Moves
========
* Leaf Storm is Venusaur's most strongest STAB move which lets it deal heavy damage to most unresisted targets with the cost of lowering it's Special Attack after every use.
* Sludge Bomb acts as it's secondary STAB option, targeting Grass- and Fire-types such as Sceptile and Delphox who potentially would like to switch into it's Grass-type attacks.
* Giga Drain acts as a more reliable Grass-type STAB move that provides Venusaur useful sustainability while albeit being much weaker then Leaf Storm.
* Hidden Power Fire is a useful coverage option enabling Venusaur to target Steel-types such as Klingklang and Silvally-Steel for more damage, while Earthquake can be used alternatively to lure in specific threats like Toxicroak and Togedemaru.

Set Details
========
* With a Choice Scarf equipped, Venusaur turns into a fearful revenge killer that can outspeed the majority of the unboosted metagame and apply great offensive pressure thanks to the power backed by it's STAB attacks.
* A Modest nature is used to amplify Venusaur's offensive capabilities and comes with little cost in terms of outspeeding other offensive threats thanks to the addition of it's Choice Scarf. A Rash nature should be used if Venusaur decided to run Earthquake in order to not hinder it's physical prowess.
* Overgrow boosts Venusaur's Grass-type STAB moves when it has been weakened enough, letting it wallbreak much more successfully.

Usage Tips
========
* Venusaur should be spamming it's STAB attacks in the majority of instances, as it's ability to force switchins enables it to heavily dent most opposing targets that attempt to come into either it's Grass- or Poison-type attacks.
* Choice Scarf Venusaur can be used as a great lure against many fast offensive threats such as Heliolisk, Sceptile, and Sneasel, since it can potentially lure in these aforementioned threats and threaten to revenge kill them thanks to the ability to outspeed them with a Choice Scarf equipped.
* Coverage moves such as Hidden Power [Fire] and Earhquake should be used to target incoming switchins such as Silvally-Steel and Garbador, as they otherwise take minimal damage from Venusaur's STAB attacks.
* Venusaur should avoid switching into many direct attacks as much as possible, as it can easily be worn down rather quickly unless it drains HP via Giga Drain due to the inability to run utility moves such as Synthesis.
