I've always been into Pokemon, but I've never taken it to the competitive level, until now. I have been doing research on what needs to be on your team, what roles certain Pokemon fulfill, etc. I put a team together that hasn't been doing to well in the OU environment, having won 1 out of the 5 Wi-fi battles I've played. I need some help from the professionals to possibly improve my team or to make a new one from scratch. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, I am a noob and it would be kind of you to point out the obvious flaws in a non-asshole kind of manner. :). Anyway, here we go!
NOTE: Any changes will be made in Red.

The team at a glance:

The lead:
Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SAtk)
_Stealth Rock
_Taunt
_Earthquake
_Rock Slide
I chose Aerodactyl not because it's an awesome Pokemon, but it looks like it can be an effective lead. Focus Sash so I can get a 100% chance to set up my Stealth Rock. Jolly nature to outspeed most leads and the EVs are self-explanatory. Aerodactyl has been doing quite well. I often find his typing a flaw in my team, as most of my team is Flying, Thunderbolt is a huge threat. I wouldn't mind replacing Aerodactyl with another popular lead like Azelf. Aerodactyl does do quite a good job for preventing Pokemon from setting up on it due to its high power Earthquake and Rock Slide.
Offensive, but not so Bulky:
Machamp @ Life Orb
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature: (+Atk, -SAtk)
_DynamicPunch
_Ice Punch
_Rest
_Sleep Talk
A very non-original RestTalk moveset for Machamp. Machamp's biggest weakness is speed. He often finds himself being beaten to a pulp by Jirachi and its annoying Iron Head. I put him on this team because I was very interested in the moveset. It seemed like it would work fairly well and it has caught my opponents off guard, however it's just lacking that certain bulky trait. I was considering dividing the atk EVs into some defense EVs but I'm not sure that will be such a great idea.
The Unpredictable Claydol of Awesomeness:
Claydol @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 114 SpD
Bold Nature: (+Def, -Atk)
_Cosmic Power
_Psychic
_Toxic
_Trick
I wanted to use Claydol as a tank, with its awesome Def and Sp Def. stats it would fit the role quite well. I looked at its movepool and realized it can learn Trick. A Tricking Claydol came to me and I thought it would be a brilliant idea and I've never seen it be done before. Now you may ask, why Choice Specs and not Choice Scarf? I mainly use Claydol to switch in on obvious Physical Sweepers such as Scizor or Tyranitar, who would have no use for Choice Specs. Or sometimes I use Claydol to stall obvious leads or Utility Pokemon like Uxie. This team wasn't built around Claydol, it just seemed like a cool moveset to run. I am 100% open to replacing it and/or improving it.
The Spinner
Tentacruel @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 152 SpA / 104 Spe
Modest Nature: (+SpA, -Atk)
_Toxic Spikes
_Rapid Spin
_Sludge Bomb
_Surf
Tentacruel seemed like a nice bulky spinner addition to the team. Having such a huge weakness to Stealth Rock, I was in desperate need of one. The problem with Tentacruel is that it can't inflict much damage to my opponent. Jirachi gives me huge problems and so does Raikou. I am in need of a replacement for Tentacruel because it doesn't get the job done and Toxic Spikes is doing me no good. I was thinking of a Starmie, and it would be a great addition to the team and I would utilize it much more than I am utilizing Tentacruel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The Revenge Killer
Weavile @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Sp
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SAtk)
_Pursuit
_Ice Shard
_Low Kick
_Ice Punch
Replaced Honchkrow with Weavile. It seemed like an excellent pick for the role of Revenge Killer. My team was Dragon Weak and I needed a fast, Ice typed powerhouse and Weavile is awesome. Pursuit for the pesky Ghost types like Gengar and Dusknoir, Ice Shard for Priority, Low Kick for Tyranitar and Ice Punch for Dragons/Pesky flying types. I hope this is will be a good replacement.
The Special Sweeper:
Togekiss @ Lum Berry
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 152 SpA / 104 Spe
Modest Nature: (+SpA, -Atk)
_Thunder Wave
_Roost
_Air Slash
_Aura Sphere
I picked Togekiss for its outrageous Special Attack stat and its ability. With one Nasty Plot, I am capable of taking down a lot of Pokemon that are slower than it. Air Slash for taking down annoying Lucarios and Scizors and Aura Sphere for those unavoidable Steel types. Togekiss has been doing a great job as a Special Sweeper but I am considering making her EVs 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP instead of the set above. Why Lum Berry? I didn't want paralysis or sleep or poison get in the way of my sweep. I was considering a Life Orb, but I've been encountering so many Thunder Waves and Toxics that a Lum Berry was a must.
Thanks for reading my RMT, and remember, I am 100% willing to replace ANY of my Pokemon's movesets, natures, EVs, or the Pokemon themselves. Please be kind when you rate as this is my first competitive team, and my knowledge of competitive Pokemon battling is slim. Thanks so much and I'm looking forward to your rates!
