Heavy-Duty Boots lets Vespiquen circumvent its 4x Stealth Rock weakness, making it a viable option for checking Grass- and Fighting-types like Silvally-Grass, Leafeon, Throh, Falinks, and Hitmontop and as a slow pivot with U-turn. Roost gives Vespiquen a reliable recovery option, and allows for more chances to stall moves like Silvally-Psychic's Multi-Attack with Pressure. Defog and Pressure pair nicely together, as this means you can PP stall Toxic Spikes and Spikes from Mareanie and Roselia for the entirety of the game. Alternatively, Toxic Spikes cripples foes, while Aromatherapy lets Vespiquen function as a cleric. Vespiquen’s Speed alongside U-turn is excellent for slow pivoting, giving you ample opportunities to bring in wallbreakers. Air Slash makes it easier to defeat Gourgeist-XL that have burned Vespiquen, but Acrobatics is an option to have a strong STAB move if Throh or Leafeon choose to remove Vespiquen's item with Knock Off.

Vespiquen fits best on bulky offense and balance teams that can deal with Defog deterrents like Falinks and Pawniard, so Silvally-Electric, Dubwool, Hitmontop, and Throh are excellent teammates, as they not only check Pawniard and act as Knock Off absorbers, the latter two are also Rock-type checks. Palpitoad is very notable as a partner; it resists Rock, checks Pawniard, and handles Fire- and Electric-types like Raboot and Manectric, while Vespiquen checks Grass-types in return. Vespiquen's reliance on Heavy-Duty Boots means it is not optimal to have its item removed by Knock Off unless you are using Acrobatics, so Knock Off absorbers like Rocky Helmet Mawile, Silvally formes, Colbur Berry Musharna, and Throh make it easier for Vespiquen to not be affected by Stealth Rock damage. Strong wallbreakers that can break Rock- and Ice-types, like Falinks, Silvally formes, and Stonjourner, appreciate the safety from slow U-turn pivoting; Vespiquen benefits from the removal of such Pokemon, since it makes it much easier for it to use Defog. Vespiquen does not appreciate Ice-type Pokemon like Mr. Rime, Glaceon, and Lapras; Type: Null, Mr. Rime, Klang, Throh, and Lapras are fine options for mitigating this weakness, using Toxic, pivoting, or phasing them out to deal with them.

Vespiquen’s 4x weakness to Stealth Rock is now circumvented by Heavy-Duty Boots, thus making her a viable option for checking Fighting- and Grass-types, while also using Defog on Spikes and Toxic Spikes setters (like?), and acting as a slow pivot (with u-turn). Roost gives Vespiquen a reliable recovery option against Silvally-Grass, Throh, Falinks, Hitmontop, and Leafeon; Roost allows more opportunities to PP stall with Pressure as well. (i think you should mention these grass- and fighting-types above where you say that vespi is: "a viable option for checking Fighting- and Grass-types." Also mention pokemon like silvally psychic and here that actually make having roost useful) Defog and Pressure pair nicely together, as this means you can prevent Toxic Spikes from Mareanie or Roselia for the entirety of the game. (nah, defog + pressue doesn't "prevent" tspikes, they just pp stall them) Alternatively, you can replace Defog for Toxic Spikes to cripple Pokemon without recovery, or Aromatherapy to provide a cleric role for your team. Vespiquen’s low speed alongside U-turn is excellent for slow pivoting, giving you ample opportunities to bring in wallbreakers (like?). Air Slash makes it easier to defeat Gourgeist-Super that have burned Vespiquen, but Acrobatics is an option to have a strong STAB move if Throh or Leafeon choose to Knock Off.

Vespiquen fits best on bulky offense or balance teams that can deal with Defog abusers. Silvally-Electric, Dubwool, Palpitoad, Hitmontop, and Throh are excellent teammates, as they not only check Pawniard and act as Knock off absorbers, the latter also provides Rock resists that Vespiquen has a major weakness to. Palpitoad is very notable as it not only resists Rock, checks Pawniard, and sets up Stealth Rock, it also checks Fire- and Electric-types that are troublesome for Vespiquen, while Vespiquen checks the Grass types that threaten Palpitoad. Strong wallbreakers that can break Rock- or Ice-types like Falinks, Golurk, Silvally forms, and Stonjourner appreciate the safety from slow U-turn pivoting, as does Vespiquen, since weakening those types allow her to have an easier time clicking Defog. (mention things that check ice-types for vespi somewhere)

Alternatively, you can replace Defog for Toxic Spikes to cripple Pokemon without recovery, (well you also cripple mons with recovery) or Aromatherapy to provide a cleric role for your team. (briefly mention a spdef spread and what it helps it check better, but also explain why physdef is better)

(what does it do in return?)

mention some knock off absorber, vespiquen is heavily reliant on its boots. rocky helmet mawile would be a good example

Vespiquen fits best on bulky offense or and balance teams that can deal with Defog abusers deterrents (name one, or some). Silvally-Electric, Dubwool, Palpitoad (RC, was told to remove by gum) Hitmontop, and Throh are excellent teammates, as they not only check Pawniard and act as Knock off Off absorbers, the latter two also provides Rock resists that Vespiquen has a major weakness to Rock-type checks.(keep this period) Palpitoad is very notable as it not only resists Rock, checks Pawniard, and sets up Stealth Rock, it also checks Fire- and Electric-types like Manectric and Stunfisk that are troublesome for Vespiquen, while Vespiquen checks the Grass types that threaten Palpitoad. Palpitoad is very notable as a partner; it resists Rock, checks Pawniard, and handles Fire- and Electric-types like Raboot and Manectric, while Vespiquen checks Grass-types in return. (this sentence was a bit wonky, so I rewrote it entirely; any content changes approved by qc member gum) Vespiquen's reliance on Heavy-Duty Boots means it is not optimal to have its item removed by Knock Off unless you are using Acrobatics, so Knock Off absorbers like Rocky Helmet Mawile, Silvally-Forms Silvally formes, Colbur Berry Musharna, and Throh make it easier for Vespiquen to not be affected by Stealth Rock damage. Vespiquen does not appreciate Ice-type Pokemon like Mr. Rime, Glaceon, or and Lapras;(comma -> semicolon) making Type: Null(spacing), Mr. Rime, Klang, Throh, or and Lapras fine options for mitigating this weakness, by either using Toxic, pivoting, or phasing them out with their respective moves to deal with them.
