Welcome to VGC 2025 Scarlet and Violet Regulation G Sample Teams Thread! The purpose is to highlight a collection of tried and tested teams with strong tournament results that represent the current state of the game, and is meant to help newer players get into the VGC format. The teams provided are the ones with higher placements in Regionals, Internationals, and the World Championships. This thread intends to cover every viable restricted and functions as a guide to get into a specific Restricted Pokemon and/or archetype. These will all be with Sample EVs from the Strategy Dex unless the original EVs are available, so you will see many of the same EV spreads for popular Pokemon.
