VGC VGC: Scarf Nihilego Gyarados BO

Hey everyone, welcome to my first RMT in this Gen! I play VGC since this season and that is one of my first teams and the first that i think is relative "good".
The idea behind this team is scarf nihilego. I think this is a very good mon in this meta, a meta with arcanine and fairys. I dont think this set is perfect, but it brought me a lot of surprising KOs, especially vs stuff like scarf lele, pheromosa and kokos.

Sets:

Nihilego @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
Level: 50
EVs: 36 HP / 220 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Sludge Wave
- Power Gem
- Hidden Power [Fire]

My first member of this team: Nihilego
As already mentioned above, i really like this mon. Rock/Poison is a very strong offensive typing and it hits so much super effective. Sludge Bomb is the primary stab move, wave is my second stab
in case I need a spread move, and its synergies pretty well with my steel type metagross. Power Gem is my obligatory second stab move and HP fire hits kartana super effective, which is sometimes really nice!

Gyarados @ Waterium Z
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 52 HP / 196 Atk / 76 Def / 4 SpD / 180 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Ice Fang
- Protect

The second member, my setupper, ground resist(which nihilego really liked) and intimidater.
This mon is a really goo d partner for my first pick, is immune vs ground type attacks, tanked water moves and supported the team with the best ability in the game: Intimidate. DD is for sweeping potential and offensive pressure. Waterfall is my "strong" stab move and ice fang is
primary for chomp. Protect is protect, vgc standard(lol).

Mudsdale @ Assault Vest
Ability: Stamina
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
- High Horsepower
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
- Rock Slide

The ground type of the team. This is a rare but effective tr user and a really good check for stuff like koko, nihilego, arcanine etc.The greatest advantages over chomp are bulk and low speed for my tr mode. The movepool is quite self-explanatory, high horsepower for a strong single target stab move, eq for spread, heavy slam for lele and rock slide for flying types such as gyarados.

Tapu Koko @ Life Orb
Ability: Electric Surge
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Dazzling Gleam
- Protect

My favorite tapu, tapu koko. Its one of the best pokemon rn, super faster, with terrain super strong, spread move, good support moves etc.
In my team i run a simple life orb 3 atks+protect set. Again, pretty self-explanatory. Tbolt is my strong stab move, hp ice for chomp because othewise my team is really weak vs it. Dgleam for spread dmg and my second stab move. I think taunt could be a good choice, for hard tr teams...but idk.

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Download
Level: 50
EVs: 244 HP / 92 Def / 28 SpA / 140 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Toxic
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Trick Room

Another really good mon, the sitting duck P2.
This is my TR setter for my little trick room mode, and my best "answer" to opponents p2/snorlax and gastrodos (toxic stall incoming).EVd to survive Golduck Hydro Vortex + Pelipper Scald in rain the majority of the time. The EV spread is also pretty standard:
"HP stat minimises damage from weather (sand/hail) and Leech Seed. Special Attack EVs increase non-boosted Ice Beam on Garchomp to a roll in Porygon2’s favour."

Metagross @ Groundium Z
Ability: Clear Body
Level: 50
EVs: 124 HP / 252 Atk / 132 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Protect
- Zen Headbutt
- Earthquake

The last member of the team, metagross.
For the first time this was a banded gross, but i found that 2 protect users are a bit too little and muk and arcanine was a relative big threat, so i tried the groundium z set. And i really liked it, surprising
ohkos on muk, arca and 1 or 2 togedemarus was sooo nice!
The rest is pretty basic, mash and zen headbutt are my stab moves and protect is protect.
