Yesiree, your Hoopa-U counter. You even outrun it. Basically in a 1v1 <-- (this is important) situation, Hoopa-U would decimate Mega Latias. But, that's because no one really uses Reflect Type .-. With Reflect Type you become the same type as Hoopa-U, meaning you can soak up all of it's hits easy as 1, 2, 3 and Recover off it's pitiful damage and wear it down with BoltBeam. Hell, if you wanna make your opponent cry you can use Calm Mind instead of one of your attacks for extra salt

SpD Mandi is a check to Specs Hoopa-U. Mandi's ability to check most other Hoopa-U variants also makes it a good Pokemon to scout what set the monster is running. It's immune to Psyshock and resists Dark Pulse, which only deals 21 - 24.8%. Seeing as Hoopa-U is spamming its STABS most of the time, Mandi's ability to stomach them is valuable. With a SpD spread, Mandi also avoids a 2HKO from Focus Blast (42.3 - 49.8%) when SR isn't in play. In return, Mandi threatens Hoopa-U back with Foul Play, which shaves 63.7 - 75% from its health assuming 0 IVs in attack. Like every check though, Mandibuzz still has to be careful switching in because it's fried by Thunderbolt and 2HKOed by Focus Blast with SR up. Keeping SR from going up helps you check Hoopa-U much better. Although Mandi can use Defog to help with SR prevention, you may opt to pair it with a more capable remover if you dislike its abilities as a Defogger and prefer using other options like Toxic or Knock Off instead.

Mega Gallade switches in on anything and OHKOs back with x-scissor. If you get the justified boost, drain punch OHKOS. Focus bLaST-from-ThE-PAsT is a set up opportunity. The third move can be used to lure whatever the hell switches in on Gallade. You could creep mega gallade's speed down to beat Hoopa, but then you're using slow mega gallade so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just want to point out that nearly every check/counter listed gets blown-TF-up by if Hoopa uses Psychic over Psyshock. NOT THIS Boiii

even though its specially defensive, skarmory still does a decent job at handling zygarde because it resists outrage and extremespeed, is immune to earthquake, and coverage in stone edge is fairly uncommon but it still can't touch skarm.

skarmory is free to sit there and spike on zygarde, force it out with whirlwind and chip at it with iron head or brave bird.

Although it obviously can't switch into an Earthquake, Klefki can easily win 1v1 since it can just Magnet Rise to gain a Ground immunity. After that, the best Zygarde can do against it is Stone Edge which deals little damage to it, while while Klefki can hit it back with Play Rough.
