Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 116 HP / 176 Atk / 216 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Taunt
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Waterfall

Gyarados, along with any other fast Pokemon with Taunt, turns Slowbro into setup fodder. Since Scald only deals scratch damage without any significant boosting, this allows it to set up with relative impunity. Once Gyarados reaches +2, Crunch will 1HKO on a high roll if it didn't switch in on an Iron Defense

Gyarados:
176+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Crunch vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Slowbro: 186-222 (47.3 - 56.4%) -- 80.1% chance to 2HKO
+2 176+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Crunch vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Slowbro: 372-438 (94.6 - 111.4%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
176+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Crunch vs. +2 248 HP / 8 Def Slowbro: 96-114 (24.4 - 29%) -- 98.1% chance to 4HKO

Slowbro:
0 SpA Slowbro Scald vs. 116 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gyarados: 43-51 (11.9 - 14.1%) -- possible 8HKO
+2 0 SpA Slowbro Scald vs. 116 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gyarados: 86-102 (23.8 - 28.3%) -- 94.1% chance to 4HKO
+4 0 SpA Slowbro Scald vs. 116 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gyarados: 129-152 (35.8 - 42.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Sorry dude, but I can't really see Taunt Gyarados as a counter, as while Scald's damage is negligible, the burn chance isn't, and the burn will cripple Gyarados for the rest of the match. Trying to set up on it means taking two scalds, (or three if the Mega Slowbro user goes for Scald on the Taunt... or even one more if you also switch into it), and the chance of not getting burned by two scalds is 49%, which is a bit low. Running Substitute could be better in my opinion, as Gyara can set up without fearing the burn, but even then, it's a check at best, as you don't want to switch it directly into a Scald. Just some food for thought.

252 Atk Gallade Zen Headbutt vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 138-163 (35 - 41.3%) -- 75% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

I'm temped to call this a "hard check" as opposed to a counter because I have been in way too many situations where Zen Headbutt flinched my Clefable and Gallade proceeded to sweep my team. But even so, it doesn't even matter if Moonblast wasn't able to 2HKO (which it obviously can), Gallade can't 3HKO you no matter how many boosts you have. Just spam Wishtect and Moonblast when you're at full and you should always beat it unless massive hax occurs.

Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Roost
- Swords Dance

SD Talon is a stronger check to Mega Gallade than Bulk Up Talon, so I went in this direction instead. SD Talon can take any unboosted attack and kill Gallade with priority, or it can come in on the Swords Dance and either force it out or kill it with Brave Bird. Defensive Talon sets also work, but they can't secure the OHKO with Brave Bird. Talon also has the added bonus of being able to revenge any Gallade if need be. The biggest issue that prevents it from being a more solod check is that Talon is crippled by Rocks, but most Talonflame-based teams are prepared to handle hazards.

252 Atk Gallade Zen Headbutt vs. 120 HP / 0 Def Talonflame: 207-244 (63.3 - 74.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Gallade Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 120 HP / 0 Def Talonflame: 168-198 (51.3 - 60.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Gallade Close Combat vs. 120 HP / 0 Def Talonflame: 155-183 (47.4 - 55.9%) -- 79.3% chance to 2HKO

Mega Altaria - Check

Altaria @ Altarite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 116 Atk / 140 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
-Dragon Dance
-Return / Body Slam
-Roost / Refresh
-Earthquake / Dragon Claw / Fire Blast / Substitute

Mega altaria is an amazing check to Mega gallade. With this Bulky set, coming from OU thread, Altaria can take a +2 zen headbutt and OHhoed gallade with return.
The set is fairly straightforward: Dragon Dance is there to boost Mega Altaria's Speed and power to allow it to sweep. Return is the obligatory STAB attack, powered up by Pixilate.

+2 252 Atk Gallade Zen Headbutt vs. 248 HP / 140+ Def Altaria: 231-273 (65.4 - 77.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
116 Atk Pixilate Altaria Return vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 360-426 (129.9 - 153.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Reserving Gliscor

Lol that gets 2HKOed by +2 ZH and cant OHKO back, reserving Tank Garchomp

Tank Garchomp as a Check, mainly because if it takes any prior damage it risks being OHKOed by +2 CC, but if it switches in at full it wins. Also Ice Punch is a thing.

garchomp-f.gif

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Dragon Tail
- Earthquake
- Toxic / Fire Blast

While this certainly isnt the best Garchomp set around, it does a great job of handling physical attackers that rely on contact moves, such as Gallade, due to the combination of Rough Skin and Rocky Helmet Damage. The moveset is fairly standard, SR is necessary on every team, Dragon Tail is great to phase setup sweepers such as Gallade and Talonflame, and EQ is secondary STAB. Toxic is preferred to hit bulky pokemon such as Landorus-T, Hippowdon, and Rotom-W that switch in, while Fire Blast is nice to hit Skarmory, Ferrothorn, and Scizor.

Calcs:

+2 252 Atk Gallade Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Garchomp: 348-411 (82.8 - 97.8%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Basically, that is a 70% chance in Garchomp's favor provided it is at full HP, which is why it is a check.

Rough Skin + Rocky Helmet = ~29% HP lost, and in return Garchomp does:

0 Atk Garchomp Earthquake vs. -1 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 211-250 (76.1 - 90.2%)

Ability: Trace
EVs: 24 Def / 232 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid / Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast / Hidden Power Ground
- Calm Mind / Substitute / Taunt / Will-O-Wisp

Normally Gardevoir wouldn't be the first thing which comes to your mind, if you want to check a physical attacker, because of its bad defense.
Thankfully because of its awesome typing it can check Gallade and take any hit Gallade has to offer if it comes in with 100% (with Stealth Rocks you can be 2HKOd if you don't come in on a Close Combat).
It comes in on any attack or Swords Dance and then just proceeds to kill Mega Gallade:
252 Atk Gallade Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 24 Def Mega Gardevoir: 80-94 (28.8 - 33.9%) -- 1.5% chance to 3HKO
252 Atk Gallade Zen Headbutt vs. 0 HP / 24 Def Mega Gardevoir: 107-126 (38.6 - 45.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 Atk Gallade Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 24 Def Mega Gardevoir: 117-138 (42.2 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+2 252 Atk Gallade Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 24 Def Mega Gardevoir: 232-274 (83.7 - 98.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Foul Play
- Roost
- Whirlwind / Taunt / Toxic
- Defog / Whirlwind / Taunt / Toxic

Mandibuzz is one of the few defensive mons that can even hope to check this beast, being able to come in on any of gallades moves and survive the +2 CC. It can then proceed to fight back with foul play, which will always KO after one CC defence drop. Mandi is only a check as it dies to +2 CC after rocks, so it can only check if rocks aren't in play. Defog is not the best option on this set, as you need rocks off to check Gallade, and rocks are most likely gonna be up if Mandi's your deffogger, so you're better of putting hazard removal somewhere else on your team.

Calcs:
+2 252 Atk Gallade Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mandibuzz: 327-385 (77.3 - 91%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0- Atk Mandibuzz Foul Play vs. -1 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 292-345 (105.4 - 124.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO (after CC Def Drop)

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off / Rock Slide / Stone-Edge

Due to the effects of Intimidate, Gallade fails to 3HKO Landogerus with any of its moves while unboosted, while being 2HKOed by Earthquake in return. If Landorus takes too much damage, and is able to survive the next hit, it can simply switch out using U-Turn. If the Gallade decides to use Close Combat instead of setting up, it will go down even faster.

It's only a check because it doesn't have the Scarf set's speed. Because of this, it can't stop Gallade from boosting or switch in on a +2 Zen Headbutt.

Landorus-T:
0 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 156-184 (56.3 - 66.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 Atk Landorus-T Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 52-61 (18.7 - 22%) -- possible 5HKO
0 Atk Landorus-T U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 73-86 (26.3 - 31%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Slowbro @ Slowbroite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Iron Defense
- Slack Off
- Scald

Mega Slowbro can come in on any of Mega Gallade's moves, avoiding a 2HKO even with Knock Off, and proceed to boost it's Defense stat using Iron Defense or heal off the damage taken using Slack Off. Calm Mind is used to boost Mega Slowbro's Special Attack and go for a sweep while Scald is used as a reliable STAB move, which also has a 30 % chance of causing a burn. Scald also has a guaranteed chance to 3HKO Mega Gallade without Stealth Rock.

Calculations:
252 Atk Gallade Knock Off vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Slowbro: 102-122 (25.9 - 31%) -- 23.8% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Gallade Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Slowbro: 70-83 (17.8 - 21.1%) -- guaranteed 5HKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Gallade Zen Headbutt vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Slowbro: 46-55 (11.7 - 13.9%) -- possible 7HKO after Stealth Rock
8 SpA Slowbro Scald vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Gallade: 97-115 (35 - 41.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

Pinsir @ Pinsirite
Ability: Moxie -> Aerialate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Return
- Earthquake / Close Combat
- Quick Attack

Both Pinsir formes can switch into anything except a +2 ZenButt, and Mega-P can OHKO with Return. Better yet, Mega-P can set up on Close Combat or Knock Off, as unboosted CC+ZenButt will also not kill it. Calcs:

252 Atk Aerilate Mega Pinsir Return vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 518-612 (187 - 220.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Aerilate Mega Pinsir Quick Attack vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 204-242 (73.6 - 87.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Gallade Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Pinsir: 55-64 (20.2 - 23.6%) -- guaranteed 5HKO
252+ Atk Gallade Zen Headbutt vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Pinsir: 147-174 (54.2 - 64.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

With a bit of prediction, Mega-Pinsir can turn one of the game's offensive powerhouses into mere setup fodder. Note that Mega-P can only outspeed Adamant Gallade; however, Jolly Gallade is even easier to set up on because of SD+Quick Attack.

I'm sorry but I don't think this qualifies as it is outsped and OHKO-ed by Mega Gallade at +2. This means you can only switch in on Close Combat or Knock Off as Azu is 2HKOed by Zen Headbutt and OHKO-ed if Gallade Sword Dances

Pokémon A checks Pokémon B if, when Pokémon A is given a free switch into Pokémon B, Pokémon A can win every time, even under the worst case scenario, without factoring in hax.

If Azumarill has a free switch into Gallade, it win, no ?

Naive Nature
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave / Focus Blast

- U-Turn

Torn T can come in on any hit bar a +2 Zen Headbutt, which shouldn't happen anyways when using this set. I'll call him a check because that argument can be made, tho Regenerator negates the being worn down factor. Regardless, Torn T KOes with Hurricane and also has the capability to maintain momentum through the Use of U-Turn, meaning he's a safe switch into Gallade all the time. Knock off is annoying, but even then Torn T still wins when hax is out of the equation 87.5% of the time thanks to Hurricane's great base power.

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
- Meteor Mash
- Bullet Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Earthquake

Mega Metagross is an offensive check. If Gallade is at +2 already, Gross cannot switch in on any hit bar Zen Headbutt. It can switch in to a neutral Knock Off as it is a 3HKO and can retaliate with Meteor Mash + Bullet Punch to take it out. It can more than freely switch into Zen Headbutt and do the MM+BP combo. Be wary of CC, it is a guaranteed 2HKO from neutral and will take out Metagross the following turn. If it has already Mega'd, Metagross can potentially win the speed tie and OHKO Gallade with Meteor Mash at -1 Def. Very situational. It can't take too many hits, so it's a check.

Slowbro @ Slowbroite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature

Megabro is a good check against Mega Gallade as he has titanic defense stat and is immune to crits. Mega Slowbro can cripple the Gallade with Thunder wave or a Scald burn. He also has reliable recovery with slack off. With the mega stone, knock off does do much less damage. However, if the Gallade can stack on Sword Dance boosts, he can do some damage to Mega Slowbro with knock off.
Sorry man, Random Passerby already got to it.
