Switching put Granny Pie in a very delicate situation, as Honchkrow can easily destroy Volcarona with high-powered Flying-type moves. This is why the chicken does a moth dance... wait I think it's the opposite.

Dancing is fine, but even one attack took a good bunch of Volcarona's HP as it attempted to get the hell outta here. Meanwhile, Honchkrow was able to boost itself AND its team, which means the incoming Weavile will have a hard time winning a damage race...

Granny sent out a cute Weavile, ready to take advantage of the opposing bird! Trying to waste some time, Weavile Fakes Out its foe, but the bird was quick to protect itself! Better luck next time~!
While Honchkrow makes sure Weavile can't escape, the latter violently retaliates with a quick claw strike. Once the attack is resolved, it proudly shows a Razor Claw! Given the shocked face the Honchkrow makes, it must be its item! Bwahaha, that's so funny!
Visibly angered, Honchkrow lets out a wave of angery fire towards Weavile, which hits it for good damage. However, Weavile is still standing and launches a devastating Icicle Crash! It's not here to watch idly!

Not worried in the slightest, Beedrill focuses its own fighting spirit. When it opens its eyes(?) again, it is to fire a rain of needles at Weavile, which proves devastating! In comparison, the puny Payback doesn't do much to dampen the Bug-type's bloodlust...
Now afraid of its foe's attacking capabilities, Weavile begins another evasive maneuver, only for Beedrill to calmly boost its attacking potential even further.

Granny Pie ends up switching out for Volcarona, reasonably enough. However, Beedrill had manifested its intention to stand its ground against a fellow Bug-type and it stays on the field! It lunges at its foe (but doesn't use Lunge) and Poison Jabs it! However, Volcarona's intense body heat inflicts a severe burn on the wasp, and it retreats while grimacing, only to take a massive fireball to the face. Granny's going all-out now, huh?
Nothing happens for a good portion of the second action as both contestants are gathering energy -the perfect moment to go grab a snack if you ask me. Beedrill's the first to move and uses its spear arms (or something) at blinding speed to hit its opponent multiple times, hitting only pressure points for maximum damage! Exhausted, it leaps back as Volcarona emits a heat wave in all directions that engulfs the entire arena, leaving nowhere to run to. Beedrill can't take it, it's down! Some people in the audience let out a disappointed sigh, probably rooting for the Poison-type due to its incredible willpower.
Granny Pie has vanquished an opponent, however Volcarona is basically KO as its HP is super low, which in turn wastes his turn ordering second.

It doesn't really matter but you forgot the Sniper boost on Poison Jab, making this round even clutchier as Volcarona survives with 1 HP.
