Welcome to the realm of the shadows, where nothing is real and everything around you is a nightmarish darkness. All attacks are somehow feasible, DK why. So I had this lucid dream in this world, and lo and behold, Smashlloyd and Ullar were battling in this weird world! I guess trainers will battle anywhere...

Both Pokemon spend their first round trying to set up on each other, and so, not much happened. Thanks to brick break and smokescreen on Charmander's part, Pineco's efforts were entirely in vain, while Charmander was able to get in some damage and an accuracy drop on Pineco. At this early point, it's still anyone's game.

Pineco handily turned Charmander's own power and type advantage against him this round, but it wasn't enough to turn the tables. The very power Pineco took advantage of in Charmander, coupled with how taxing such a technique was, left Pineco on its last pines, while Charmander is pretty beaten up but still has that fighting spirit.
