War Story! keeret V professional !

Ok, so there i was bored out of my mind, nothing to do. When i decided to test my current team on shoddy; loaded it up, joined the server and found a ladder match, that is where i came across professional. I had never heard of him before so didnt know what to expect and the following battle occured.

Below are the teams used by both me and professional, the batte log will be in bold and thoughts in normal font. Enjoy!

Rules:Ladder Match, Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Evasion Clause, Species Clause, Strict Damage Clause.

Keeret sent out Ninjask!
Professional sent out Lucario!

Ok, i think i can survive one hit to pull of one Swords Dance, but might not, got to risk it it anyway.

Ninjask used Swords Dance!
Ninjask's attack was sharply raised!

Lucario used Shadow Claw!
Ninjask lost 42% of its health!

Ninjask's leftovers recovered 6% of its health.
Ninjask's speed boost raised its speed!

Yay, survived and now just thinking if i should try to pull of another one just to put the nail in the coffin. Or is that just pushing it. I'm pretty sure its a choice lucario in some way due to no Life Orb cost or Leftovers recovery. I should probably switch in Dragonite now. Hmmmmmmmm........

Ninjask used Baton Pass!
Keeret switched in Dragonite!

Lucario used Shadow Claw!
Dragonite lost 21% of its health!

Dragonite's leftovers restored 6% of its health.

Got Dragonite into play now with little damage, i should be faster and with fire punch should put an end to Lucario. Lets hope it goes to plan.

Dragonite used Fire Punch! Critical Hit!
Lucario lost 100% of its health. Lucario fainted!

Dragonite's leftovers restored 6% of its health.

6-5
That went to plan, and got to be prepared for whats next.

Professional sent in Bronzong.

Not sure why or what hes planning, he knows ive got Fire Punch, maybe Bronzong will survive. I've got to chance it anyway i'm pretty confident.

Dragonite used Fire Punch!
Bronzong lost 100% of its health. Bronzong fainted!

Dragonite's leftovers restored 6% of its health

6-4

Right that two down. Definetly got the upper hand now.

Professional sent in Snorlax.

Will he curse up or maybe body slam or the like, i'm sure i can survive either way and perhaps even risk a Dragon Dance.

Dragonite used Dragon Dance!
Snorlax used Curse!

Dragonite's leftovers restored 3% of its health

Dragonites at full health and I should be able to put a big dent into Snorlax. If i outrage i will be stuck and then he will maybe pull out a counter. I'll use outrage anyway as Snorlax will probably have thick Fat anyway.

Dragonite used outrage! Dragonite went on a rampage!
Snorlax lost 86% of its health!

Snorlax used Curse!

Snorlax's leftovers restored 6% of its health.

Curse again! Hes definetly dead now..... i hope.

Professional switched in Metagross,

Dragonite used Outrage!
Metagross lost 63% of its health.

Dragonite's rampage ended, Dragonite is confused!

So he switched Snorlax, anyway metagross is a 2HKO and with the boost i should be going first. But with confusion i just hope i can pull it off.

Metagross used protect!

At least this buys me some time to snap out of confusion and hit him next turn if i cant now.

Dragonite used Outrage!
Metagross protected itself!

Dragonite is confused.

Its nearly dead so i should just opt for Fire Punch to save being locked in. Hope i can hit him through confusion though.

Dragonite used Fire Punch!
Metagross lost 37% of its health! Metagross fainted.

6-3

Thank you for that, just hope i can keep it up, its weird though he didnt spot the Fire Punch coming up. just have to see whats coming up.

Professional switched in Ninjask!

Odd to see that not as a starter. He'll probably sub i should follow suit gives me a a free set up and cover.

Ninjask used protect!
Dragonite snapped out of confusion!
Dragonite used Substitute!

Dragonite's leftovers restored 6% of its health

I got a free sub and now can just fire from behind it. Hell probably use protect again so i can use this to my advantage.

Dragonite used Dragon Dance!
Ninjask used Protect!

Dragonite's leftovers restored 6% of its health.
Ninjask's speed boost raised its speed!

Yes, ive got him now, hell probably switch or protect again hmm...not sure. I should attack either way.

Ninjask used Protect! But it failed!
Dragonite used Fire Punch! Its super effective!

Ninjask lost 100% of its health!
Ninjask held on using its Focus Sash!

Dragonite's leftovers restored 6% of its health.

There nothing left for it to do now except protect or hit me with a weak attack, i might as well stat up.

Ninjask used Protect!
Dragonite used Dragon Dance!
But its attack and speed wont go any higher!

Ninjas's Speed Boost raised its speed.
Dragonite's leftovers restored 6% of its health.

Oh well not much i could have done anyway might as well finish it off.

Ninjask used Endure! But it failed!
Dragonite used Fire punch!

Ninjask fainted.

6-2

The games going my way now and im pretty sure i can finish him off with Dragonite, just cant get sloppy though.

Professional sent in Alakazam!

Its more than likely i'll attack first so ill just try to finish it it one.

Alakazam used Protect!

Dragonite used Fire Punch!
Alakazam protected itself.

Man, he likes stalling, protect may not work next time so i will just attack again.

Dragonite used Fire Punch!
Alakazam lost 100% of its health!

Alakazam fainted.

6-1

Hes only got an injured snorlax which i can finish now with outrage.

Professional sent in Snorlax!

Dragonite used Outrage! Dragonite went on a rampage!

Snorlax lost 20% of its health!
Snorlax fainted!

6-0

Keeret Wins.

So thats the match and though it may seem as though professsional may not be that good he'll probably come back with better team.

Good Game!

You might as well have told us your last four Pokemon were Magikarp, Sunkern, Weedle and Smoochum.

This wasn't a particularly interesting warstory as there weren't any good predictions or interesting occurrences and your opponent is obviously unaware of certain mechanics (and appears to be a low quality opponent in general).

If there had been some sort of comeback preferrably through prediction (but sometimes luck works too) it would be more suitable for a warstory.

Read some of the warstories in the Warstory Archive for examples of battles that make good warstories!

Meh, no 6-0 sweep warstories please.
Also, i'd advice against using a Ninjask. The abundance of Phazers/Stealth Rocks/Taunt Leads/etc. make it useless.

There was absolutely no need to warstory this. Not because it wasa 6-0 sweep, but because of utter lack of any talent or prediction, heck, luck was barely a contributing factor.

For gods sakes, he'd have to be using a neutral natured, 0 Atk EV, non-boosting item Lucario to hit for that kind of damage.

'Professional' my ass.

Actually, CBJollyLuke (252Atk/Spe) does 62.54% - 73.29% to 176HP/0Def Ninjask with Shadow Claw...so either he didn't max Atk (probable) or he doesn't carry CB..or that Ninjask is Def EVed for some reason (unlikely)..I'd have to say not 252Atk or CB are the probables for ~40%.

Fair. It could have easily been an SD Luke or something anyway.

But Shadow Claw over Crunch, USING BRONZONG TO EAT +2 ATK FIRE PUNCHES, and other stuff sort of proves the point.

wow. professional did not live up to his name. or it was the day he forgot to pack his phazer. either way, most people here do not like readin 6-0 warstories such as this on.

wow you guys suck, you dont have to be that mean.

you could at leat help him with fixing warstorys.

So thats the match and though it may seem as though professsional may not be that good he'll probably come back with better team.

They have every right to be blunt. If this guy actually knew that this WARstory was against a BAD opponent, then there's no point of posting it if there's no war, and actually expecting people to like it.

That, and I could've written those comments in like 5 minutes.

Try again later. Later as in when you have a match against an opponent who knows how to play DP competitively, when you don't have a one-sided 6-0 match, and when you learn how to have comments that aren't just things we can see from looking at the log. Come on, the comments are supposed to tell us what you're thinking! This doesn't tell me what you're thinking. Those comments just tell me what happened in the battle...I could just do that by reading the damn log. -.-

It is even stated in the rules not to post 6-0 warstories, or ones were the opponent played poorly. This person broke both of those rules. So how are we being mean by telling him this is not a good warstory?

Also it is not our job to help him make warstories.... the rules even suggest looking in the warstory archive to get an idea of how to make them
