We Don't belong down here! (OU vs NU Warstory)

I wasn't a fan of the actual battle and neither side played particularly well, but props to you sire / madame for using NUs in OU.

P.S. What's with all the warstories all of a sudden in Stark?

I don't think this battle was worth being warstoried. No interesting comebacks, lousy prediction etc.

The only point I could see in using NUs in an OU battle would be to have the surprise advantage over your opponent, however, you seem to be lacking in the knowledge of the OU metagame/sets, so you can't take advantage of the surprise factor since you're being surprised as well.

Was a pretty bad match honestly, with poor calls on both teams.

I liked the novelty of using NU's (well, some NU's and some UU's) in an OU battle, but lack of prediction does not a good warstory make.

uh yea man just because you use nu in ou doesn't make you cool! the comments were terrible too. sorry if i'm hating but it just wasn't that good. try to put more depth into the comments, what you were thinking, why you thought it, all that jazz. also, pick a better match next time

I think this warstory was ok. I loved the comments next to the poke's sent out, plus the comments on when poke's died (Like out-of-order) or when TTar was sent out (wassup brah). But, i wish it wasnt as much of a slaughter-fest on you as it was.

sorry man it wasnt very good. you using NU just set out the battle as something less than impressive and the comments were not very good. rich boy would have really killed you without that hax which just kind of makes it eh.

I agree. With an NU team and that hax, a battle like that isn't very unfortunate. Which doesn't make is pleasing for the reader. Sure NU is occupied by the most under used Pokemon in the game, but the NU and OU environments are completely different. Seeing an NU team beat an OU team doesn't prove anything, nor is it more tasteful to read than any other warstory. Unless if it was "epic" ofcourse. XD

It wasnt a battle that showcased any real skills, except maybe team building. I would like to read a better battle though because your writing style was nice to read. Your comments were a nice length, and even though the insight wasn't good in this particular battle it was put across very clearly. The concept of NU against OU was also enjoyable, but it does need a bigger pay off.

The way you handled Aggron confused me. Why not just try to kill him with Magmortar? And after he gained health from Leftovers, you thought it might be choiced? And why switch in Lapras when you knew he had Iron Head? Not a good battle. But your presentation was pretty decent. I look forward to you warstorying a better battle in the future.

Damn, Dude...Nicely Done though. There were a Few Flaws but...whatever, we all learn from our mistakes right?
I was just Surprised that the comments aren't that favorable. I mean this guy is going against OU, give him a break.
Great Warstory indeed. 7.5/10

I really enjoyed this warstory. Granted, you got lucky with a rather inexperienced opponent. For example, if he had used Stealth Rock at some point, Butterfree would have fallen to Breloom's Focus Punch and the Whirlwind wouldn't have happened, effectively leaving him open for a bit of a sweep.

Nevertheless, you did a pretty good job with what you had, and I applaud you for that.

Basically, this team hates Stealth Rocks with three of its Pokemon being weak to it (and one 4x). And two of the SR Pokemon are Choiced, making matters even worse for switching in and out. This guy was very lucky with both Aggron being burnt, and Swords Dancing in Tyranitar's face as it missed with Stone Edge.

Pretty sloppy all around. With all the warstories that are locked, why is this one left open?
