- Triple Axel
- Ice Shard
- Knock Off / Low Kick
[SET COMMENTS]
Weavile is an incredible wallbreaker on Dark teams because of its high Speed and access to Swords Dance. At +2, Triple Axel allows Weavile to break through defensive Pokemon such as Great Tusk, Swampert, and specially defensive Corviknight while also letting it OHKO offensive ones like the Ogerpon formes and Walking Wake. Ice Shard allows Weavile to OHKO revenge killers like Choice Scarf Meowscarada, Enamorus, and Landorus along with Dragapult, at +2. Knock Off hampers defensive switch-ins like Corviknight and Toxapex by removing their Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, or Heavy-Duty Boots. Alternatively, Low Kick can be used over Knock Off, which allows Weavile to hit Steel-types like Kingambit and Heatran while also OHKOing opposing Weavile. Heavy-Duty Boots allows Weavile to come in safely multiple times throughout the game.
Ting-Lu provides entry hazard support, making it easier for Weavile to break through bulky foes; this makes it a great partner for Weavile. Nasty Plot Darkrai, Hydreigon, and Galarian Moltres, along with Choice Specs Greninja are excellent partners that help Weavile against physically defensive walls like Archaludon, Toxapex, and Skarmory. In return, Weavile deals with specially defensive walls such as Clodsire, Blissey, and Hisuian Goodra. Kingambit and Alolan Muk can deal with Fairy-types, while Weavile threatens Ground-types such as Landorus, Garchomp, and Gliscor. Grimmsnarl provides dual screens support for easier setup. Sableye provides Fighting immunity and can cripple foes like Zamazenta and Iron Hands with Will-O-Wisp. Mandibuzz can act as a bulky pivot providing safe entry to Weavile using U-turn and Defog support in case Weavile's Heavy-Duty Boots has been removed. Choice Scarf Meowscarada can revenge kill faster threats like Choice Scarf Iron Valiant and Gholdengo.

Icicle Crash is a more reliable STAB move option, that avoids chip damage from Rocky Helmet and Rough Skin. However, it trades off Triple Axel's higher power, which is most evident in its inability to OHKO defensive Pokemon like Great Tusk and specially defensive Corviknight and offensive ones like the Ogerpon formes.
