Weezing stands out as one of NU's premier physical walls, checking prominent threats such as Gourgeist-S, Kangaskhan, and Togedemaru. Will-O-Wisp allows it to cripple the aforementioned Pokemon, as well as other physical attackers like Piloswine and Galarian Stunfisk. Taunt prevents setup sweepers like Bulk Up Gurdurr and Iron Defense Cofagrigus from boosting up and slower foes like Galarian Stunfisk and Ferroseed from setting up entry hazards. Toxic Spikes allows Weezing to weaken opposing walls such as Cofagrigus and Lanturn and put them on a timer, while Pain Split provides it with a source of recovery, letting it remain healthy throughout the battle. Flamethrower is an alternative to Will-O-Wisp to more immediately deal with burn targets. Rocky Helmet is the preferred item, letting Weezing accumulate residual damage against physical attackers and U-turn users, although Black Sludge can be utilized to provide consistent recovery.

Weezing primarily fits on bulkier builds that appreciate its ability to check physical attackers, absorb Toxic, and avoid Ground-type attacks. Special walls such as Miltank, Clefairy, and Ferroseed make for great partners, checking special attackers such as Choice Specs Decidueye, Rotom, and Basculin that trouble Weezing. In particular, Clefairy is a noteworthy partner that provides Weezing with reliable healing from Wish, allowing it to better handle physical attackers. Water-types such as Basculin, Lanturn, and Wishiwashi appreciate Weezing threatening Grass-types such as Gourgeist-S and Eldegoss; in turn, they aid Weezing by bringing it into battle safely, which prevents it from getting worn down. Dark- and Steel-types such as Silvally-Dark, Silvally-Steel, and Galarian Stunfisk value Weezing checking Fighting-types such as Gurdurr and Sawk so they can sweep or put up entry hazards consistently.

weezing is a pretty awful decidueye check; they're almost always specs right now.

wisp isnt great for sanda because of shed skin.

taunt isnt good at preventing these moves from those pokemon outside of gurdurr because weezing is slower than all of them (and in the case of gourgeist-s, that mon is never staying in vs the weezer)

would also mention helmet punishes u-turn

----

dont love ferroseed as a special wall mention, but if you change aboma to basculin and then readjust both lists so that the walls match the attackers they check, i'll be fine with it

weezing is not a great croak check, especially with all the special variants running around rn, which easily overwhelm our god weezington

let me know when this is done

would rather you mention Iron Defense Cofa along with Bulk Up Gurdurr; utility Cofa is pretty outdated at this point

change the galarfisk move mention to stealth rock and add a ferroseed mention; can generalize to preventing entry hazards from slower foes

----

clef as a rotom check isnt the best mention ever because the latter cripples the former with trick or just pivots with volt. tbh may as well give a thievul mention because terrain teams are rather strong atm

qc 1/2 when this is done

Weezing primarily fits on bulkier builds that appreciate its ability to check physical attackers, absorb Toxic poison, and avoid Ground-type attacks. Special walls such as Miltank, Clefairy, and Ferroseed make for great partners, checking special attackers such as Choice Specs Decidueye, Thievul Rotom, and Basculin that trouble Weezing (relevancy). In particular, Clefairy is a noteworthy partner that provides Weezing with reliable healing from Wish, allowing it to better handle physical attackers. Water-types such as Basculin, Lanturn, and Wishiwashi appreciate Weezing threatening Grass-types such as Gourgeist-S and Eldegoss, and they pivot into Weezing so it avoids getting worn down. (while weezing makes a good teammate for them, nothing is said about what they do in return. My suggestion is the pivoting point, which also shows that theres a limit to its switch-in oppertunities due to its situational / lack of recovery) Dark- and Steel-types such as Silvally-Dark, Silvally-Steel, and the aforementioned Ferroseed Galarian Stunfisk value Weezing checking Fighting-types such as Gurdurr and Sawk to set up boosts sweep or put up entry hazards consistently. (Variance in examples, and gfisk should be mentioned anyways as its a great partner to weezing. I was also a little confused on the last part so I tried to clear it up)

Awesome job!!! QC 2/2

Honestly I feel Flamethrower has merit to being slashed after Sludge Bomb as an alternative mono-attack for the set, if not slashed before it as the main attack; Flamethrower is usually a sufficient/better choice for hitting with most of the mons Weezing is expected to deal with, like G-Stunfisk, Gourgeist, Piloswine, Ferroseed, CB Froslass, etc., while also not being resisted by many mons that would otherwise like to take advantage of Weezing, like Garbodor, Cofagrigus, Rotom, Skuntank, NP Toxicroak, and so on. Sure Sludge Bomb can poison certain switch-ins and destroy Clefairy, but Toxic Spikes and Taunt handle both of those to a certain extent already. From the times I tested with Weezing, Sludge Bomb and Flamethrower are pretty interchangeable, and I don't think Sludge Bomb is wholly superior to Flamethrower to the point where it deserves the only spot for the attack moveslot, or even the primary slot for that matter.

I also feel Corrosive Gas deserves a mention somewhere in here, because a lot of mons that switch into Weezing depend a lot on their item for survivability, so having the option to cripple their longevity can be really noteworthy.
