ORAS OU Weird OU team that I made!

V can V it (Victini) @ Life Orb
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bolt Strike
- V-create
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn
Just a generic Victini set (I think)! I chose bolt strike because... uhhhhhhh, I'm a power hungry son of gun! Might as well steal Zekroms more powerful move, right? V create is there for being a stab. Who doesn't run it? Wait, I've used a support Victini once when this mouse thing was in UU. Zen headbutt is there for stab because I normally like having stab moves for two typed offensive mons. U turn is there only if I'm faster than the opponent and I want to switch out and do damage at the same time. That's the beauty of u turn!

Hai V2 (Manaphy) @ Choice Band
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Waterfall
- U-turn
- Return
If you've seen my NU team (which you probably haven't), you may know that I ran a physical Phione named Hai with this exact moveset and spread and item. Knock off is so useful in this gen to hit psychic types and take items off of things that I want to take items off. Waterfall is a good stab and it can flinch given some good luck. Never really get the flinch that much :(. U turn is there to maybe tag team a couple of mons with V can V it. Return is there because there is nothing else to use!

Puff (Altaria-Mega) @ Altarianite
Ability: Pixilate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Roost
- Cotton Guard
- Toxic
- Draco Meteor
A support mega altaria? WHAT? YOU'RE CRAZY! Wait, do people run it? I dunno. I'm a noob, sorry. Roost is there to get lost health back if the opponent happens to switch or something. Cotton guard boosts its defence so it can tank physical hits as well as special hits. Toxic is just there to annoy people and stall with roost (don't kill me plz). Draco meteor is there to hit things and hope for some sort of OHKO or 2HKO.

Papercuts (Zapdos) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Serious Nature
- Extrasensory
- Heat Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Air Cutter
This zapdos set obviously isn't the normal one you see around these parts but I wanted and all out special attacker that resists or is immune to ground. This was my best option. Extrasensory and heat wave are there to hit things that are weak to them. Thunderbolt is a decent stab and it hits really hard with the specs. Air cutter is there because, well. I WANTED A FLYING STAB OK! It was this or hp flying.

Sockets (Metagross) @ Light Clay
Ability: Light Metal
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Pursuit
You know this is a weird team already if there's a physical manaphy and a specs zapdos. So it sets up rocks. It can set up screens. I don't use screens, well, ever. Pursuit is catch people off guard if I switch it in to something that it could probably smack in the face had I ran an attacking set.

Banter (Landorus) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 200 Atk / 252 SpA / 56 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earth Power
- Superpower
- Sludge Wave
- Rock Slide
BANTAHHH! A MIXED LANDO! SO MUCH BANTAH! So I wanted to equally distribute the ev's so it can get the best of both physical and special attacks. Plus, sheer force! Slap a life orb on with moves that use and abuse the ability and your good. Earth power hits really hard with stab. Superpower hits like a truck with a lot a stuff loaded on to its trailer. Sludge wave hits fairy types very hard. Rock slide can take out talonflames and other things weak to it.

Is this weird team any good. Haven't used it and I will at one point. Not right now as I'm posting this. Maybe later xD

'Standard sets are standard for a reason.'
~Most People.

I'm all for thinking outside the box, but different for the sake of different isn't the way to go about it. You're just running sub-par sets better run by other Pokemon and banking on shock-factor to hold you through the game. Looking at it objectively though, there are many things out there which can do near enough the same thing only better. For example, Klefki has better defensive typing than Metagross and has access to Prankster to make it a superior Screen setter. Raikou has better speed allowing it to handle shit like non-Scarfed Kedeo and variants of Starmie without getting worn down, it lasts longer so it can act as a pivot, wallbreaker and clean up late game too with Specs, none of which Zapdos can perform quite as effectively with its mediocre speed. Zapdos also has a better supportive movepool and reliable recovery, it's what gives it its niche in the first place. Manaphy's niche comes from Tail Glow primarily, making it an utterly destructive Rain sweeper, it doesn't rely on a Rain boost alone to take lives, but more from the +3 set-up. Physical variants lose that niche and you really have a Rain-setting Gyarados wannabe. Sub DD Gyara would enjoy that roll much better thanks to higher offensive capabilities and more reliable set up than just Rain Dance. Mixed Lando-i is good, at least Rock Slide is to handle Torn-T, but you have to run a lot of investment in Atk, which could better be run in Spe, to make Superpower worth it and Focus Blast gets a Sheer Force boost, you could be better off just running that, or a set-up move.
Idk, there's more that can be done to improve this team I think, but priority should probably go to assessing the viability of your sets in relation to similar mons to at least make sure you're not just missing out on something that could do the same job better.
