This is steelicks' idea.

Basically before the tournament comes to WA we're going to meet up and practise or w/e.

Date: 7th July (exactly one week as I post this)
Location: Food court (upstairs), Southlands shopping centre (south of the river)
Time: Probably like 10am-whenever we're bored.

Bring your ds and cartridge, we shall play poket mans with the teams that will be used for that connection tour.

Also there is a Darkzone for if we get bored - so we can go play laser tag or something (I happen to be one of the best social league players fyi :p)


So yeah. Give us some info on how many will be here.
 
Sounds awesome, too bad I live in South Australia because I'd really like to go to something like this. Ah well you guys have fun.
 
If I were you, I would definitely go anyway.. Worst case scenario, you get to laugh at Steelicks' legendary circumference.

I was trying to make a decent and true reason not to catch a train. Although just the thought of playing Darkzone against Steelicks would make most real men wet themselves.
 
I'm not sure, but apparently both Steelicks and I live in Canning Vale (which isn't far) and a few others have it well in range.
 
I see that users HappyDragon and Fire Electric Cat-Gonk seem to be planning on attending the WA Tour.

upon seeing this post, I retract my earlier statement that the Southlands complex is in range of Steelicks' reach; I would rather say that Steelicks is within Southlands' reach.

In Australia we lock up all of the coobers in a town far away from the main populace, and lock them up with paedophiles, we lock them up in Coober Pedy, to keep Australians safe.

Is it true that Canadia does not do this, and if it is true are the Canadese safe from coobers and pedos without a Coober Pedy?

I picked the time and place, it's like 2 weeks away from the actual tournament. Also the day was saturday because of another group (which Wstfgl and I are avoiding for a certain reason) who play yugioh there on sundays.

southlands because there is a food court, lots of tables, darkzone, movies and it's practical. ~5 min walk for me, and within reach of others

Also i know of a couple of other people (Mooshu should be coming, wst) who might be coming.

for all of you who know not of Mooshu, he is an extremely high-level Pokemon player who popularized the Dire Hit Rayquaza and Iron Tail Mewtwo in the ubers metagame and says he wants to represent Serebii at the event. His team this tour apparently includes Regirock (cause it has STAB on Stone Edge) and Electrode (because CB explosion is just that good).

The specific reason we're avoiding that group isn't anything to do with us personally, just thought I'd drop that in.

also if the Canadese are indeed not safe from coobers, perhaps you could ship Glen here, and we could feed him to the rabid drop-bears.
 
Can't make it on that Saturday, got a party to prepare for that day. Shame Sunday's off the cards.

Would certainly like to meet up with you guys prior to the tournament though.

edit: Hang on a second, Canningvale, do/did any of you guys go to Kent St or Leeming SHS?
 
regrettably, it turns out i will not be able to make it tomorrow guys... i have a job interview =( sorry!

Oh well, we'll be able to worship thee at the tour or something.
