Serious What even are Trophy points for?

So….. uhhhhh, I have no idea if I’m not supposed to make a thread about this, or if this is in a wrong section (probably) but it’s on my mind. There are users pushing up the 10’000s react points, but literally everyone, EVERYONE has 0 Trophy points. Zero. Nothing. A void of points. What even is this feature for?!

It's a default feature of Xenforo, the forum software that Smogon uses. They come in the default installation and removing a feature that just exists unused is not something that is worth creating/installing a plugin for.
