What Have I missed in my 2 year slumber

Guys I haven't been playing Pokémon in almost 2 years. I've been wondering what I've missed.

1. Does pokedit still work and can you still make Pokémon yourself?

2. How has the ou and uber metagame changed over these years?

For 1, I think the answer is technically yes, but the program has some different name now. Discussion of hacks isn't encouraged here, though.
For 2, this is Orange Islands. We don't discuss competitive here.
