Really strange team this week tbh considering the lack of Speed outside of the Rocks weak Scyther with no hazard control. Also not much of a Psychic resist considering Def Mesprit gets worn down super quickly. A lot of different directions you could go this week, but offensive Silvally-Water provides the team with much needed hazard control support, provides an Ice-resist, and patches up the Speed issue somewhat outside of just Scarf Scyther. (Also Scarf Defog Scyther is lol)

I noticed the team is very weak to Dodrio and other flying type attackers. Also has no Knock Off switch-ins, and the team has issues with hazard removal as well as Scyther in the only hazard remover and is 4x weak to Stealth Rocks. So I decided that Silvally-Electric will be the last member. Silvally can be another defogger and helps with the Dodrio match-up with a way to check it and killing it.

Lanturn @ Leftovers

Lanturn & Roselia form a specially defensive core, with Lanturn checking special attackers that Roselia has problems with such as Aurorus and Raichu-Alola while Roselia absorbs Toxic Spikes and checks grass types such as Lilligant in return. Lanturn also checks Calm Mind Oricorio-Pom-Pom, which I believe to be especially notable as the HP Fighting variant otherwise 6-0s this team.

Lanturn also provides the team with a way to beat Omastar, provided it is lacking Z-Earth Power, which Scarf Scyther is unable to consistently revenge kill.

Lastly, Lanturn can provide a slow Volt Switch for Aggron, giving it an easy way to set up on Pokémon such as Mesprit and Silvally-Dragon without taking too much prior damage.

The EVs in place allow Lanturn to creep Sandslash-A, allowing Lanturn to quickly pivot into Gurdurr. This is particularly useful if Toxic has been scouted prior.

I have opted for the Protect variant of Lanturn as it allows the mon to better stall out Rain and Hail turns in the weather matchup while also stalling out turns to regenerate health and wear down the likes of Eelektross with Toxic.

The team still struggles with hazards, but the team isn't particularly rocks weak outside of Scyther and Froslass/Qwilfish can potentially be scared off by Aggron and Mesprit respectively. That, and there's only so much you can do with one slot.

The team does look rather Pom Pom weak and Alolachu can come in on it and fight back. Pom Pom is usually running HP Fighting/Revelation Dance and Hurricane. All of which Alolachu can take. A +2 Stoked Sparksurfer OHKOs it even when Pom Pom gets at most 1 Calm Mind off assuming it's running it.

+2 252 SpA Raichu-Alola Stoked Sparksurfer vs. +1 252 HP / 0 SpD Oricorio-Pom-Pom: 411-484 (116.1 - 136.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Komala offers some very useful utility to the team in being a blanket special wall whilst providing Rapid Spin support for Scyther. Toxic is necessary for standing a chance against Pom Pom and can also catch ghosts on the switch.

this patches up a few notable holes in the team, namely serving as a pompom check, aurorus switch-in, a way to not get 6-0'd by quag if roselia dies, and is removal for scyther (scarf defog lol). honestly I really don't like the structure of this team and rotom-f is the best way to fix most of the fallacies this team has, scarf defog scyther with (presumably) one other form of removal is ludicrous, and the only other viable removers for this team only compounds issues (alolaslash is a more consistent psychic resist but clashes with aggron, hitmonchan eases the horrific simisear mu but gives this team little leeway against pompom since aggron drops to hp fight with little chip) and not running removal at all often means the team is almost always down a mon since it has no way of dissuading rocks for scyther and can be only be remedied by hwish mes, which gurdurr or aggron usually wants more.
