Im really interested in custom battles, because you can do literally anything with it. I plan on making a thread for custom battle sets that work nicely, as well as tips for success such as level 1000 pokemon. however, because custom battling is not a tier, and i'm somewhat new to the forum, I have no idea where to post this, or how it would work out. Help please?

Where to post a thread for custom battle sets?

The issue with Opple's suggestion is the fact that threads to be posted in Other Metagames have to be submitted in the Submissions subforum (http://www.smogon.com/forums/forums/om-submissions.289/) first, and I doubt a Custom Game one would be approved since Custom isn't actually a metagame, more of a debug format. However, it might be worth a try. If you lay the post out well enough, the mods might approve the thread.
Otherwise, your best bet would be, if the sets are legal in Classic Hackmons, to post them here: http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/classic-hackmons.3521887/, but I doubt they will be legal there because they likely have more than four moves.

There is no specific thread for Custom Battles as far as I am aware of
