Well, I wouldn't know core games which one. I mean I've played them tons, even on reruns some, but I just don't pay attention. I CAN say explorers of dungeon games(that I've played) are good about it. But ofc not what it's about presumably but...why no? Why can't it be them? It takes forever to get "overleveled," but I never felt under leveled in stories.
Too many reasons. Spinoffs kinda are built on different concepts than the main games, so it's kind of comparing apples and oranges. No disrespect tho, they're just different.

Sure that is fair and np at all. Almost all the fights are what would be "wild," optional, fights in reg games. So it isn't easily comparable. In fact, in sky the bosses like outlaws DON'T give exp lol. I mean it isn't hard to level properly w/o seeking out fights though, assuming you're still doing plenty cause you go for items like anyone/me. That's why I said it. I've played all the main games, I can probably pick 2 w/ bad level curves, for opposite reasons, but idk that I've thought of any as good. I would just say all them but HGSS and XY(so easy lol...) are ok. But I probably play explorers of sky most, at least now. So that being good level wise too stands out more than the others, even if it's not really the same deal.
 
Sword/Shield's leveling is really weird for me doing Hardcore Nuzlocke runs. 20/24/27 for the first three Gyms is fine, then a big jump to 36 just two cities later (I think they expected you to stop and do a lot of grinding in the Wild Area on the way), then 38/42/46/48. Victory Road is tough in these runs because you pretty much have to bench your heavy lifters through Victory Road to avoid going over the Level 49 cap for the semifinals, 55 is fairly achievable with the plot stuff in between, and then there's a huge jump to 65 for the final with essentially just two mandatory battles in that time.
